A clip from Crockett’s appearance on the "Grounded" podcast — which premiered last Wednesday — went viral as critics seized on her remarks. "I want to be clear that, like, law enforcement isn't to prevent crime. Law enforcement solves crime, OK? That is what they are supposed to do. They are supposed to solve crimes, not necessarily prevent them from happening per se," she said.

National media — aside from this newspaper — studiously ignored the heinous Aug. 22 attack, while Wikipedia’s editors did their best to airbrush it.
Why? Because they run interference for Democrats, and the story is political nitroglycerine. Not only did this brutal murder of a white woman by a black man turn the Democrats’ racial narrative on its head, it underscored and boosted President Trump’s messaging on urban crime.

Conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot Wednesday during a Q&A session at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. Video from the event shows Kirk was struck near the neck. While details about his condition remain unclear, reports suggest he’s been hospitalized.
Unfornately, the mainstream media’s reaction to the shooting has been as disgusting as you could have predicted.
Over at CNN, Kristen Holmes dubbed Kirk “a controversial figure at times,” adding: “He goes into these various college campuses, uh, pushes conservative issues, gets into back and f—heated back and forth often with these students on these college campuses. But of course, uh, none of that is violent.”
