Take the nuclear option: Let Mamdani win
the mayoral race so NYC can start over
from scratch

As alarm bells ring over the New York City mayoral race, an odd sentiment is starting to gain traction across the business community: Just give up. Just sit tight and let the ill-equipped Maoist Zohran Mamdani win in November. Let him unleash his creepy, dogmatic socialist policies on the masses to teach them valuable lessons — both economic and cultural — about wokeness and progressivism, and more broadly its stranglehold on the Democratic Party. I’m starting to agree. Let the city sink into the abyss. Let Mamdani’s policies force out business and prod more upper- and middle-class residents to flee. Let the city declare bankruptcy — which will happen if Mamdani gets his way.

The outcome will be the same, except for the timing. New York City will be reduced to ashes and from that a new city will emerge.

I have thought this from the beginning. The socialists seem to think that it's the camels nose in the tent, but It's going to end up a very hard lesson for NYC. A lesson that will show the rest of the country what happens when you choose the Communist road.

Manhattan island could easily become our country's version of Gaza; it's a similar size. If you want an object lesson, just point to London. "Let's loose a major battle" is not a good strategy for winning a war. Once NYC is taken over by Muslim Marxists, getting it back will be almost impossible. Whatever obstacles there are now to winning this race will be multiplied many times once they have complete power there. I wouldn't be surprised if they are already planning how to expand the subway system tunnels to support a Palestinian-style militia.

I’ve been saying much the same about California, where I lived for 63 years before fleeing to Idaho. But as they say, “You can vote your way into socialism, but you're going to have to shoot your way out." In the meantime other states are going to have to deal with NYC refugees, much as the western hemisphere countries have had to deal with some 8 million Venezuelan refugees.

I'm totally opposed to this "Let him win" attitude. The liberals do not think like us and therefore won't be a bit worried about bankruptcies or a city crumbling to the ground. All they want to do is WIN so they can get a toe in the door. After that, the media will lie for them 24/7 by portraying socialism as the kind and right thing to do with no mention of increased poverty, economic decline, and a collapse of living standards. Let Memdani win? So he can get his toe in the door for others who think like him? How can anyone think that's a good idea?

Trump got 750,000 +/- votes last year in NYC. How about getting those people to the polls and voting for a candidate Trump endorses? Wouldn't that be better for New Yorkers? Wouldn't it be a great example of the strength and power of the Trump coalition? Of course, it's easier to do nothing. It's easier to complain about the Marxists who always show up and vote and never quit because this is more than just politics. They are religious fanatics.

Here's what y'all arent considering: the taqiyyah liars aka muslims are not stopping with NYC. They are already burrowing in places like Plano, Tx/Dallas and in Houston. They have almost completely calcified Michigan. They are emboldened and will not stop. The WEF acolytes in various parts of the US are helping them. So being flippant about a Muslim mayor is a sign that certain cadre of people STILL havent learned the lessons of 9-11 and/or not utilized this Age of Information AT ALL to gain a better understanding of what Western Civ is up against. Then again, Obama turned our media into propaganda machines and you can NEVER EVER trust anything that supports islam...much less muslims at all. President Trump needs to get serious about not just the H1B corruption but the islamic invasion that is being assisted by various RINOs, not just Democrats. Gregg Abbott has gaslit EVERYONE and he feels emboldened as well to thumb his nose at his constituents. Things are fixing to get BAD, y'all. Acting like NYC isnt worth the fight is not a good look or idea.

There are some really serious acts of gender-based violence being committed against women in Great Britain today. Take the horrendous case of Paloma Faith, who appears to be both some kind of singer, and some kind of self-appointed campaigner for women’s rights. In her tell-all memoir, released last year, Paloma revealed an appalling example of abuse at the hands of a fellow celebrity judging panellist on TV caterwauling contest The Voice UK, who violently raped her, live on television, before an applauding audience of millions and millions of evil sexist white men.

The left weighs in on anything that Trump is against, which drives it to lionize criminals like Abrego Garcia, champion open borders, and oppose increased oil and natural gas production. And they are against anything Trump is for. So often, they did not care much about big-city crime rates, supported biological men’s usurpation of women’s sports, and opposed taking out the Iranian nuclear threat. However, recently, some former and, no doubt, current Trump opponents now seem to support both what Trump is for and what he is against—at least in a few areas. So this past week, Donald Trump hosted some of the richest,

Undersea cable cuts in the Red Sea disrupted internet access in parts of Asia and the Middle East, experts said Sunday, though it wasn’t immediately clear what caused the incident. There has been concern about the cables being targeted in a Red Sea campaign by Yemen’s Houthi rebels, which the rebels describe as an effort to pressure Israel to end its war on Hamas in the Gaza Strip. But the Houthis have denied attacking the lines in the past. Undersea cables are one of the backbones of the internet, along with satellite connections and land-based cables. Typically, internet service providers have multiple access points and reroute traffic if one fails,

In a highly rare exercise of wartime legal restraint, Israel’s Supreme Court ruled Sunday that the Israeli government has deprived Palestinian detainees of even a minimum subsistence diet and ordered authorities to increase the amount and improve the quality of food served to deprived Palestinian inmates. Although it’s the job of the Supreme Court to advise the government of the legality of its policies, the Israeli judiciary has seldom taken issue with its actions in the 23-month Israel-Hamas war. Since Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, attack on southern Israel that killed 1,200 people, mostly civilians,

President Donald Trump on Saturday amplified his promises to send National Guard troops and immigration agents to Chicago by posting a parody image from “Apocalypse Now” featuring a ball of flames as helicopters zoom over the nation’s third-largest city. “‘I love the smell of deportations in the morning,’” Trump wrote on his social media site. “Chicago about to find out why it’s called the Department of WAR.” The president offered no details beyond the label “Chipocalypse Now,” a play on the title of Francis Ford Coppola’s dystopian 1979 film set in the Vietnam war, in which a character says: “I love the smell of napalm in the morning.”

The article continued: The Fourth Amendment protects citizens against arbitrary searches and arrests and serves as the basis of search warrants with a probable cause of crime. The resolution directs city staff to “uphold the 4th amendment at their workplace and city agencies and report back to Council any barriers to effective training on the 4th Amendment for any departments.” The resolution says the city has “historically pursued equity and safety for all residents” and the trust of Durhamites is essential to the city carrying out its operations.

This summer, President Trump and Congress have been extremely successful with remaking the American economy to deliver for workers and businesses, passing the “One Big Beautiful Bill” Act (OBBB) in July that extends important tax cuts and unleashes American energy. In particular, American energy dominance and independence was a key winner, as numerous provisions repealed Biden-era giveaways to green energy that held back our economy, making energy less reliable and affordable. Yet the OBBB is just the first step for unleashing American energy, and the next step must be comprehensive permitting reform. With these mandates to expand our national energy dominance,

Late last week NBC ran a “news” story featuring a dozen disgruntled federal judges whose rulings against various Trump administration policies have been stayed or overturned by the Supreme Court. These lower court judges, none of whom had the courage to allow NBC to name them in the article, bewailed the failure of SCOTUS to provide sufficient justification for ruling against them. It’s blindingly obvious, however, that the real issue they are whining about is the Court’s refusal to countenance their usurpation of the President’s Article II powers and frustrate implementation of his agenda.

President Donald Trump is still facing a $83.3 million payment to writer E. Jean Carroll after a federal appeals court rejected his challenge of a defamation verdict against him Monday. The ruling from the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upholds a lower court decision finding that Trump did, in fact, defame Carroll. Trump's lawyers argued his comments about Carroll were protected by presidential immunity and that the verdict in the case was unjust. The three-judge panel rejected both of those claims. "We conclude that Trump has failed to identify any grounds that would warrant reconsidering our prior holding on presidential immunity. We also conclude that the district court did not err

As RedState reported, the Trump administration scored a big win on Monday, with the Supreme Court staying a lower court ruling barring ICE from conducting immigration stops without probable cause. The original decision, which came from Biden-appointed California District Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong, was spawned after a series of high-profile raids carried out in Los Angeles. At the time, Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) proclaimed that "justice has prevailed." I suspect he won't be quite as optimistic about or respectful of the Supreme Court's latest smackdown. Of course, this decision wasn't unanimous. As expected, the three liberal justices went the other way,

Letitia James’s New York State mortgage records indicate that she committed mortgage fraud on a $200,000 “Credit Line Mortgage” with Citizens Bank in 2021. Regardless of the party in the White House, both sides have long agreed that a president deserves to have his or her administration in place, quickly. That doesn’t mean we don’t disagree. But it does mean when nominees are held up, opposed, or blocked—it’s for a legitimate purpose, not for leverage in partisan games, to score political points at the expense of public safety.
