On July 13, 2024, a youthful, bespectacled assassin’s bullets cut the hot air above the Butler Farm Show grounds and grazed the ear below Donald Trump’s wispy, straw-like hair. In those seconds, a volunteer firefighter, Corey Comperatore, was killed; two spectators were gravely wounded; and a former president, blood streaking down his cheek, rose and mouthed, “Fight, fight, fight,” an image that fixed itself in the national mind. Good article and well written. It begs the question, why is the author still center-left. I believe Republicans should try to figure out what keeps man like this clinging to the democrat party.

If we give Philadelphia to New Jersey, it will be a sure thing. The good part of Pennsylvania is solid red.

I dismiss the premise. Just like the other swing states, In 2024 the vote was "too big to rig" in PA. There is no doubt in my mind that 2020 was stolen in PA. I have to admit though that in the long run it was a blessing. Trump's 2nd term in 2020 would not have been nearly as productive as this one is and will be. The time away gave him a chance to consider things and make self-assessment as well as catalogue his "lessons learned". I would have never believed this turn in December of 2020 when I thought the Democracy was lost.

Considering how this article is written from the perspective of "how can Democrats win back voters in Pennsylvania" I'm a little perplexed as to why this obviously well educated, succinct writer would strive toward such an end. The only thing I can think of is he is still trying to shake off the effects of indoctrination from his tenure in school. And yes Pennsylvania could go back Democrat in the next election, especially if voter fraud in the big cities is not reined in.

Trump’s Department of War rebrand is

When Donald Rumsfeld’s Pentagon executed an ill-conceived invasion of Iraq in 2003, was it really pursuing American defence? All but a handful of unreconstructed Iraq hawks would disagree. So it’s welcome news that President Trump has restored the Defense Department’s original name, the Department of War. Talk of renaming the DoD has roiled Republican circles for some time. During the 2024 GOP primary, Nikki Haley brainstormed about changing the name of the Department of Defense to the “Department of Offense”. That was an unmistakable throwback to circa 2003 neoconservative blowhardery, and a good reminder of why the Haleys of the world are no longer at the helm

A Senate Democrat compared language from one of the nation’s founding documents to that of Iran during a Senate hearing considering President Donald Trump’s nominees. Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., pushed back against the opening statement of Riley Barnes, who was tapped by Trump to serve as assistant secretary of state for democracy, human rights and labor, during a Senate Foreign Relations hearing Wednesday. Barnes quoted Secretary of State Marco Rubio in his opening remarks, telling lawmakers on the panel, "We are a nation founded on a powerful principle, and that powerful principle is that all men are created equal, because our rights come from God our Creator

As the 2025 election season enters the “playoffs,” Jack Ciattarelli has earned a realistic chance to win New Jersey and prove it is now a legitimate swing state. Admittedly, that path is narrow, and fighting electoral history is never easy. But here is the roadmap to victory, backed by my latest polling. Before diving into those numbers, allow me to defend New Jersey to the rest of America. Jersey gets a very bad rap and way too much negative media attention. It is not merely the stepbrother to neighboring New York. It is a gorgeous state, truly living up to its “Garden State” moniker.

Over the Labor Day weekend, instead of enjoying the last days of summer with family and friends, Democrats and other Trump-deranged folk had nothing better to do than indulge in sick fantasies about the president’s death. Hashtags like #trumpisdead and #whereistrump trended on X, with countless TikToks, Google searches and posts saying “TRUMP DIED” garnering millions of likes and views. This was not a harmless meme or politics as usual. It was seeded by anonymous left-wing social media accounts and amplified by journalists and influencers to create a permission structure to fantasize about Trump’s demise.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) reported a net worth of up to $30 million in her latest financial disclosure — a document filed just months after the congresswoman dismissed claims she was a millionaire as “ridiculous” and “categorically false.” The disclosure, filed in May, shows the far-left “Squad” lawmaker and her husband, Tim Mynett, experienced a roughly 3,500% increase in net worth last year, compared to 2023. The surge in the couple’s wealth was first reported by the Washington Free Beacon on Monday. The financial gains came from Mynett’s two businesses, a Santa Rosa, Calif.-based winery and a venture capital firm headquartered in Washington, DC.

There was no Labor Day holiday for Chicago criminals, who murdered nine people and wounded another 51; most (if not all) were black or brown people with names and stories we will never know. Meanwhile, crime is down sharply in Washington, D.C., where three people were shot and wounded, but no one was killed over the weekend. Rather than learn from Washington, D.C.’s experience, Chicago’s leaders are doubling down to frustrate a proposed federal law enforcement surge here that will make Chicago safer for all. As the weekend’s carnage unfolded, Mayor Johnson issued an order blocking the Chicago Police from cooperating with any new federal law enforcement effort while

Americans have been told for decades we’re in desperate need of an underclass to handle the work we don’t want to do ourselves. We were convinced the development of an American caste system, with the “illegal untouchables” assigned the least-attractive duties, is what a prosperous nation like ours deserves. This narrative’s purveyors swore to us the depth of illegal immigration would remain shallow enough that these people wouldn’t be a competitive workforce for jobs American citizens want to earn a living from. This deception has created what I call “The Great Illegal-Immigrant Lie.”

"I think President Trump should call his bluff. I think we should flood the zone. It's already working in Washington, D.C. Chicago is a next perfect test case," Kirk said. "It's time for a federal takeover of Chicago. We've been calling for this for quite some time. I think we're getting closer. I think you're gonna see the president pull the trigger sometime soon." Writing elsewhere last month, I suggested that Donald Trump end the National Endowment for Democracy once and for all. Like most so-called “non-governmental organizations,” the NED is in fact an all-governmental organization. It depends absolutely on a subsidy from the state department, i.e., from the federal government, i.e., from the taxpayer, i.e., from you. The NED began life in the Cold War as a way of projecting “soft power” against our Communist adversaries. But as James Piereson noted in February of this year, the NED has undergone a familiar process of mission creep and moral and political entropy.

On July 14th, President Donald Trump set a deadline for Russian President Vladimir Putin to end the war in Ukraine – 50 days. The war’s death toll and the Russian leader’s bad faith negotiating tactics had exceeded the president’s patience threshold and it was time for the Trump Administration to weigh in more heavily than it had thus far. President Trump threatened sanctions and secondary sanctions if Putin didn’t stop the conflict, offering increased military support to Ukraine as well. Putin was on the clock! Two weeks later, an important change took place when Trump accelerated the timeline. It was that pressure-packed strategy that quickly brought Putin to the negotiating table.

It’s been said that if you’re not a Communist at 20, you have no heart — but if you’re not a capitalist by 30, you have no brain. That’s all too befitting the sad farce of New York’s mayoral race, led by front-runner Zohran Mamdani. How does Mamdani, as the only major candidate who comes close to the 20-30 age range, measure up? Mamdani’s smiling, youthful energy attracted many real 20- to 30-year-old New Yorkers, as well as many older 20-somethings-at-heart. His wealth of socialist/Communist ideas — abolishing private property, seizing the means of production, defunding the police, freezing rent, providing free public transportation, establishing government-run stores and more — make many

Former President Joe Biden has sparked health concerns after stepping out in Delaware with a large scar across his forehead. The 82-year-old was seen looking frail in new footage leaving a church in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware with what appears to be a large gash on his head. The footage, first shared by Inside Edition, was taken by local Fred Karger who told the outlet that from up close it resembled a scar from skin cancer surgery. The night before, he was also seen at a local ice cream shop wearing a baseball cap that appeared to cover the injury.

Have federal district judges peaked? Democrat judges, especially Biden judges, have been issuing insane rulings trying to stop President Trump from doing pretty much anything. These rulings are so bad that even Justice Kagan, hardly a Trump pal, was baffled by them. I’ve argued that these rulings are literal lawfare, there’s no pretense that these various blocks are even legal, they’re there to force Trump to go to the Supreme Court. And then the Supreme Court, especially its weakest man, Chief Justice Roberts to mull over what the cocktail party set will say and cringe over being accused of being a rubber stamp for Trump.

We’ve covered the story extensively—Donald Trump sees the ongoing, unthinkable level of crime and violence that goes on daily in the nation’s capital, decides to do something about it, federalizes the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), and deploys the National Guard. What happens? Crime plummets to levels not seen in years. If you’re a Democrat, however, you don’t like this for several reasons: 1) It makes President Trump look good, which you can’t stomach even if lives are at stake, and 2) you don’t actually care about crime and don’t mind seeing it continue in our nation’s cities. The Joe Biden autopen fiasco isn’t over, and it never went away. It just went dormant for a bit, but we knew something was going to drop, and it has. President Joe Biden signed a trove of clemency petitions before he shuffled out of the White House. There are concerns that he wasn’t cogent or even aware of what he was signing. That issue presented itself with executive orders, as told by Speaker Mike Johnson. The mountain of clemency petitions was navigated by a shoddy chain of command among top Biden staffers, and again, it presented issues about whether Joe Biden was aware of what was going on

Was floating a ban on trans people owning guns just some basement-level idiot’s idea for “owning the libs”? In the wake of Robin Westman’s deadly Minneapolis rampage, some troll in the bowels of the Trump Justice Department reportedly proposed blocking trans people from buying firearms by declaring them all “mentally ill.” This, of course, is absurd as a simple matter of law: No rule that strips a (dubiously-defined) group of their Second Amendment rights has any chance of holding up in court. And if it did somehow survive, that’s an open invitation for future progs to create their own “mentally ill by definition” categories — deployable to limit lots of other rights.

The new deployment comes on top of an already bristling U.S. military presence in the southern Caribbean as President Donald Trump carries out a campaign pledge to crack down on groups he blames for funneling drugs into the United States.
