Terrifying video shows the moment a minivan ploughed into a tractor-trailer making an outrageous rogue U-turn on a Florida highway last week — with all three people in the van killed and the truck’s illegal-migrant driver charged with homicide. The roadway horror happened around 3 p.m. Tuesday on the Florida Turnpike near Fort Pierce when the tractor-trailer driven by suspect Harjinder Singh made a hard left turn across the highway and attempted to cross the median through an “Official Use Only” pass, authorities said.

It’s bad enough that CA gave him a commercial driver’s license, but what company could be irresponsible enough to hire him?

I remember somebody doing a U-turn on I-84 in Pennsylvania or New York. Fortunately, no wreck. Can get killed when people around you aren't using their brains. This jerk knew better, but didn't care. He thought he would get away with it. He didn't. Lots of people approach things that way.

As a former truck driver, I can attest that this is incredibly dumb. What this illegal nitwit should have done was to simply drive to the next exit and then returned the other direction. I'm retired now for 22 years without so much as a speeding ticket, (or accident). I'm afraid of the people trucking companies are hiring. Also, how can someone who is NOT allowed to be in the US get a CDL? We are a doomed nation.

How many more illegal aliens who have been handed both regular and commercial drivers licenses without adequate driver training, by the leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats are today dangerously driving big rigs across the Interstate Highways of America? No doubt a lot, as the Democrats clearly do not want the immigration laws to be effectively enforced or any illegal aliens to be arrested and deported from the USA. Instead the Democrats obviously want all illegal aliens to be put on a “path to citizenship” and be transformed into unlimited millions of new leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrat supporters and voters on into the future, to keep the Democrats in permanent political power and to permanently change the political and racial population demographics of the USA beyond the point where the USA becomes a minority-majority country run by a vast coalition of both domestic and foreign origin minority groups politically allied to the leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats.

The role of prayer in civil society has emerged in the wake of the Annunciation Catholic School shooting, and this may be a blessing of sorts amidst the tragedy. This is because scientific research has shown time and again that religious faith and the practice of prayer check pathologies and improve quality of life on almost every level. However, politicians and commentators belittled “thoughts and prayers” as ineffective in preventing other mass killings. Others, from Vice President JD Vance to Bishop Robert Barron to Franciscan University, were quick to emphasize prayer’s importance in moments of anguish and darkness. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security even tweeted, “Pray without ceasing.”

Donald Trump's recent floated proposal to deploy the National Guard to crime-overrun blue cities like Chicago and Baltimore has been met with howls of outrage from the usual suspects. For many liberal talking heads and Democratic officials, this is simply the latest evidence of Trump's "authoritarianism." But such specious analysis and manufactured hysteria distract from what all parties ought to properly focus on: the well-being of the people who actually live in such crime-addled jurisdictions. What's remarkable is not just the specific policy suggestion itself -- after all, federal force has been called in to assist state-level law enforcement plenty of times -- but rather how Trump is once again baiting

Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.) this week warned the American people that a Trump nominee for a State Department position was an extremist, cut from the same cloth as the Iranian mullahs and religious extremists. Riley Barnes, nominated to serve as assistant secretary of State for democracy, human rights and labor, revealed his dangerous proclivities to Kaine in his opening statement when he said that “all men are created equal because our rights come from God, our creator; not from our laws, not from our governments.” It was a line that should be familiar to any citizen — virtually ripped from the Declaration of Independence

When Donald Rumsfeld’s Pentagon executed an ill-conceived invasion of Iraq in 2003, was it really pursuing American defence? All but a handful of unreconstructed Iraq hawks would disagree. So it’s welcome news that President Trump has restored the Defense Department’s original name, the Department of War. Talk of renaming the DoD has roiled Republican circles for some time. During the 2024 GOP primary, Nikki Haley brainstormed about changing the name of the Department of Defense to the “Department of Offense”. That was an unmistakable throwback to circa 2003 neoconservative blowhardery, and a good reminder of why the Haleys of the world are no longer at the helm

President Donald Trump is still facing a $83.3 million payment to writer E. Jean Carroll after a federal appeals court rejected his challenge of a defamation verdict against him Monday. The ruling from the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upholds a lower court decision finding that Trump did, in fact, defame Carroll. Trump's lawyers argued his comments about Carroll were protected by presidential immunity and that the verdict in the case was unjust. The three-judge panel rejected both of those claims. "We conclude that Trump has failed to identify any grounds that would warrant reconsidering our prior holding on presidential immunity. We also conclude that the district court did not err

Letitia James’s New York State mortgage records indicate that she committed mortgage fraud on a $200,000 “Credit Line Mortgage” with Citizens Bank in 2021. Like other mortgages, it requires a signed note, a mortgage document, and recording with the county clerk. The mortgage document shows that James misrepresented her five-unit apartment building as a single-family dwelling. This false claim allowed James to avoid significantly higher commercial loan closing costs and a higher interest rate.

Late last week NBC ran a “news” story featuring a dozen disgruntled federal judges whose rulings against various Trump administration policies have been stayed or overturned by the Supreme Court. These lower court judges, none of whom had the courage to allow NBC to name them in the article, bewailed the failure of SCOTUS to provide sufficient justification for ruling against them. It’s blindingly obvious, however, that the real issue they are whining about is the Court’s refusal to countenance their usurpation of the President’s Article II powers and frustrate implementation of his agenda.

As RedState reported, the Trump administration scored a big win on Monday, with the Supreme Court staying a lower court ruling barring ICE from conducting immigration stops without probable cause.
