In a series of clips from years past, Oliver rolled out the Baileys’ lore, as told by Schumer, on Last Week Tonight. The Baileys, according to the Democrat’s own telling, are a middle-class duo from Massapequa whose political journey began as Reagan Republicans in 1980, “Schumer first introduced the world to the Baileys in his 2007 book, Positively American, winning back the middle-class majority, one family at a time,” the host said.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Aug. 14 declined to block a Mississippi law restricting minors’ access to social media platforms.
The court did not explain its new ruling in NetChoice LLC v. Fitch.

Currently, there are so many bad ads I had no problem finding truly dreadful examples.
First, let’s check out an ad campaign that worked, American Eagle’s ads featuring Sydney Sweeney, a popular young Hollywood actress.
Apparently, she not only has good genes, but good jeans. When those American Eagle Sydney Has Great Jeans ads broke a couple of weeks ago, three things happened. One of the bravest women I have ever met is Ayaan Hirsi Ali and she has spoken at length in several forums about its deadly rise and what it means.
I met her in 2007 at the Martin Luther King dinner held by the Congress Of Racial Equality (CORE) which awarded her the award of International Sisterhood due to her efforts to protect the interests of Muslim women suffering from the demand of vaginal mutilation and forced marriage by Islamic Sharia law. At the time, she was a Dutch* parliamentarian and an atheist.

“A Small European Nation Has a Big Explosions Problem,” a New York Times story recently reported. The story clarified that the small nation was the Netherlands, it never did clarify who was behind the over 700 bombings so far this year.Saying it out loud would have been impolite.
European nations, small and great, have all sorts of mysterious unexplained problems that they never used to before. The Netherlands has a rash of bombings. In the UK, acid attacks are up 75%.Much like the bombings in the Netherlands, none of the news stories clarify why a phenomenon associated with a whole other part of the world had migrated to the UK.
