John Oliver Roasts Chuck Schumer For Decades

John Oliver skewered Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) for his decades-long fixation on an imaginary Long Island couple – Joe and Eileen Bailey – questioning why the Democratic leader has allowed non-existent voters to justify his political instincts. In a series of clips from years past, Oliver rolled out the Baileys’ lore, as told by Schumer, on Last Week Tonight. The Baileys, according to the Democrat’s own telling, are a middle-class duo from Massapequa whose political journey began as Reagan Republicans in 1980, “Schumer first introduced the world to the Baileys in his 2007 book, Positively American, winning back the middle-class majority, one family at a time,” the host said.

Comments:

Chuckie was apparently talking about his imaginary friends long before the 2007 book. Gutfeled will have a field day with this...

Schumer is a bald faced, long term, unrepentant LIAR. Everything that he says is always a lie. Like him saying "I love going for a walk in the early morning around the monuments, and I feel perfectly safe. There is no crime problem." Liar. Anyone can feel safe with ARMED bodyguards trailing along everywhere you go.

Democrats use "composite's" for real people, here The Bailey's by Schumer. Obama used composite's for his non-existent girl friends in Dreams from My Father. If you want to lie about something, make it up, and call it a composite of people you have experienced.

#7 has it nailed: Richard Gephardt used to speak about his rich businessman "good friend" who was for any tax increase the Democrats proposed. The late Rush Limbaugh -- also from Gephardt's home state of Missouri -- did some digging for this elusive friend of Gephardt's and came to the conclusion that the guy didn't exist. And Gephardt never produced the friend or even challenged Limbaugh's views on the matter. Schumer is not only a complete sociopath fraud as a human being, he's a plagiarist fraud who picked up on Gephardt's shtick. For reference, see Joe Biden. Seems to be a pathology that runs deep in D'rat circles.

Jack Schlossberg brought a van to greet Senator Chuck Schumer and the Kennedy heir left with a job from Washington's most powerful Democrat. Schlossberg remains an object of fascination from his often strange social media posts, drawing scathing criticism from his mother Caroline's sister-in-law Cheryl Hines earlier this week. Jack is the 32 year old-son of Caroline and Edwin Schlossberg. Hines' husband RFK Jr is the son of Robert 'Bobby' Kennedy, who was President John F. Kennedy's brother.

Bob Menendez advised Egyptian officials how to cover up their part in the grisly murder of Saudi Arabian dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi. This was an egregious human rights abuse and the biggest betrayal to the values he was elected to uphold as a US senator. The disgraced former New Jersey Democrat — now serving an 11-year sentence for corruption and conspiracy to act as a foreign agent for Egypt and Qatar — had coached his high-level Egyptian contacts how to respond to a grilling about Khashoggi’s assassination in a Saudi embassy before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in June 2021, court records show.

The FBI concluded numerous legacy news media stories that crafted the false Russia collusion narrative contained illegally leaked classified intelligence but failed to definitively identify the leakers. But agents did force a stunning admission that ex-FBI Director James Comey used a special conduit to the Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times in his bid to polish his image and push for a special prosecutor to take down President Donald Trump. Columbia University law professor Daniel Richman admitted to agents in interviews he routinely communicated on behalf of Comey, his longtime friend, with Times reporter Michael Schmidt, whose work was among the newspaper's 2018 Pulitzer-winning stories on Russian election interference.

Some of these arguments will, perhaps, remain perpetually and be discussed for decades without any consensus, but some of these arguments have been fully debunked.
