"Nice city you have here — it would be a shame if something were to happen to it."
Something bad is about to happen to New York City.
Maybe I'm wrong. I hope I'm wrong. The greatest city in the world deserves something better than a commie-racist/nepo-red-diaper-baby like Zohran Mamdani as its mayor.
But recent news has me convinced that the commie-racist/nepo-red-diaper-baby will be the city's next mayor.
President Donald Trump called Mamdani a "communist lunatic" back in June, and he isn't wrong. Every time some old social media post of the Democrat mayoral nominee resurfaces, he's boasting that "the end goal is seizing the means of production," complaining that capitalism is theft,

Former President Joe Biden’s daughter, Ashley Biden, has filed for divorce from her plastic surgeon husband, Dr. Howard Krein, after more than 13 years of marriage, court records show. The 44-year-old ex-first daughter filed the papers in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas on Monday, The Post confirmed. Biden’s Instagram Story on the same day featured a photo of her walking through a park and flashing a thumbs-up, and was set to the song “Freedom” by Beyoncé, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, which first reported the divorce filings. She also posted a quote that read: “New life, new beginnings means

Can you imagine what a victory it would be for all Americans if, merely through his successful leadership, President Trump were able to get the basement-rated Jimmy Kimmel to self-deport?
We already have a partial victory based solely on the fact that the Late Night elitist is putting the pieces in place to make it happen.
Former comedian Jimmy Kimmel was a guest on former comedienne Sarah Silverman’s podcast on Friday, and the two of them discussed fleeing the country due to Trump.
“A lot of people I know are thinking about where are they going to get citizenship?” Silverman said.
Kimmel then broke this glorious news: “I did get Italian citizenship.”

U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro on Monday briefly morphed into the Fox News host whose rapier-like response sent liberals quivering. Pirro spoke with the media to add her endorsement to President Donald Trump’s plan to reduce crime in the District of Columbia by calling out the National Guard and putting the Metropolitan Police Department under federal control. (Snip) “If we had the fourth-highest homicide rate in the country two years ago, all of the sudden it goes down, and people want to pat themselves on the back. No way. Talk to any of the crime victims,”

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has been inundated with applications in the two weeks since it launched a major recruitment campaign. The Department of Homeland Security announced Tuesday morning that ICE has received 100,000 applications in less than 15 days from “patriotic Americans who want to help remove murderers, gang members, pedophiles, and terrorists” from the United States. In order to attract more recruits, ICE lifted age restrictions on hiring. Previously, applicants were limited to a minimum age of 21 and could be no older than 40. New hires will be eligible for a one-time bonus of up to $50,000, up to $60,000 in student loan repayment, and other incentives

An unidentified man was shot and killed Monday, several blocks from protesters rallying against President Donald Trump and his decision to deploy the National Guard in Washington, D.C., in order to combat crime.
Trump’s announcement on Monday during a press briefing comes after a series of high-profile attacks in the city this year. The Metropolitan Police Department told the Daily Caller News Foundation that officers responded around 7:01 p.m. to the 1200 block of 12th Street NW, where they found an unconscious adult male with multiple gunshot wounds.
After lifesaving efforts by D.C. Fire and EMS, the man was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The rise of courtroom media has provided the public with hundreds of glimpses into that supremely tragic moment when a felon, sometimes just a teenager, learns he is sentenced to life imprisonment. Then, despite their efforts at bravado, there is no hiding the shock and disbelief. His life is over. The possibility that he blotted from his consciousness has actually become unbearably real.
What happens next, when the convict is borne away to his cell to ponder what Anglo-Irish writer Edward Plunkett called the thoughts of the newly dead? Thanks to criminology, we know that many replay in their minds the moment of their downfall, often obsessively, especially in the

Yesterday, President Donald Trump nominated a high-profile critic of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, EJ Antoni, to be its new commissioner, promising on Truth Social that under his leadership “the Numbers released are HONEST and ACCURATE.”
If confirmed, Antoni, currently chief economist at the Heritage Foundation, has his work cut out for him.
Last week, we pointed out glaring mistakes the Bureau of Labor Statistics had made in recent years and asked whether its foul-ups were driven by politics or ineptitude.
The issue came to a head after President Donald Trump fired the head of the BLS in the

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned allegations of famine in the Gaza Strip as the product of a “global campaign of lies” in a speech on Sunday, while defending his government’s plan to take military control of Gaza City. He also promised to “bring in more foreign journalists” to Gaza, who have not been permitted beyond military embeds in 22 months of the war between Israel and Hamas.
Netanyahu rejected international allegations that, by denying the entry of aid into Gaza, the Israeli military has inflicted famine upon its population, turning attention toward Israeli hostages still being held by Hamas. “Despite Hamas’s obstacles, two million people

As predicted, the Texas Democrat legislators who fled to blue states to deny a quorum for redistricting have folded. Still, I'm not sure anyone expected them to fold this soon.
According to ABC News, the runaways who claimed to be saving "democracy" are heading back to their home state early, claiming to have accomplished their goal of raising "awareness" about gerrymandering. That's a very polite way of saying they failed miserably. ABC13 has confirmed with multiple sources that House Democrats will return to Texas.
Eyewitness News has not confirmed the date, but we do know that Democrats believe they've accomplished their mission by killing

The Texas Senate approved new congressional lines on Tuesday in a rare mid-decade redistricting effort that could aid Republicans in their effort to keep control of the U.S. House of Representatives after the 2026 election. The vote was 19-2, with nine Democrats absent after exiting the Senate floor moments after the maps were taken up, a show of protest against what they framed as a "corrupt process." "This mid-decade redistricting isn’t about fair representation—it’s about politicians picking their voters instead of voters choosing their leaders," the Senate Democratic Caucus said in a statement. "And it doesn’t stop here. If they can gerrymander now, they can
