Minnesota National Guard activated, state
of emergency declared after cyberattack

Local, state and federal agencies are investigating a cyberattack against the City of St. Paul. Governor Tim Walz on Tuesday announced he has activated the Minnesota National Guard to assist in the response to the attack, at the city’s request. According to the Governor’s Office, “the magnitude and complexity of the cybersecurity incident have exceeded the city’s response capacity.”

Comments:

Tampon thinks the National Guard is not worth using for saving a burning city, but only for protecting his private files that the DOJ will be asking for... think they'll be doing some serious shredding?

Calling in the NG isn't the first response I would expect to a cyberattack. But it is hard to know and the article has no real information. Meanwhile, stay calm. Walz is on the case so all will end well.

The article is basically a quote of a press release from the Governor’s office. Looks like Waltz is planting the seeds for stricter government control of the internet. The misinformation scam got busted so they need a different excuse to Monitor, Regulate, Control and Deplatform. If this cyberattack was truly as serious as Waltz is leading us to believe, they would never have told us about it. SOP for this kind of news is to leak it out slowly. Give themselves time get a handle on things and most importantly cover their backsides.

It's all a distraction. Last month Timpon was sounding the alarm that Pres. Trump ''might'' pardon Derek Chauvin and that could cause riots in Minneapolis. Trump never mentioned pardoning Chauvin and has no power of Chavin's state imposed jail sentence. But Timpon needed a 'look at the squirrel' moment.

Unless the National Guard has a platoon of computer science engineers and network specialists, this was one of the dumbest moves Walz has made since he thought could be a Vice President. I would feel sorry for Minnesota except that you elected him.

The unusual construction project in northeast Minneapolis in 2020 was billed by city officials as an environmental win. Newly built rain gardens in the Hoyer Heights neighborhood would help prevent flooding and filter out pollutants — including phosphorus, one of the main culprits behind the increasingly common toxic algae blooms on city lakes, according to the city. (snip) But a 2021 study conducted by the city and the University of Minnesota, and recently shared with the Minnesota Star Tribune, suggests the new rain gardens are likely making the city’s phosphorus problem worse.

Iran apparently had not adjusted to its new 2025 status—or maybe it had. Most of its bought terrorists are currently either destroyed or anemic. There is no more ascendant Iranian “Shia crescent” in the Middle East. Russia is no longer a Middle East power, patron, and protector. The Assad dynasty imploded, flipping Syria from an Iranian proxy into a likely Iranian enemy. Hezbollah, once supposedly the most fearsome of all the Iranian terrorist tentacles, was humiliated and neutered by a series of surreal Israeli operations.

Located on a stanchion near a tank in the F-Area tank farm, the nest registered a staggering 100,000 disintegrations per minute (dpm), a level described as “moderately high” radiation. Workers promptly sprayed the nest to eliminate the wasps, which were then bagged and disposed of as radiological waste.
