This is a man who behaves as if he were ordained to deliver America from the faults of the forty-two presidents that preceded him and to straighten out any president who succeeds him. That’s why it took the former Commander-in-Chief a whole seven days of being subjected to prison memes and accusations of “treason” to manifest public indignation over being perceived as anything less than Messianic. President Donal Trump just notched another key trade deal this week with one of America’s biggest trading partners, Japan. America’s negotiator-in-chief managed to secure a half-trillion dollars of investment and preferential treatment for US companies in one of Asia’s biggest markets, which also helps box out China, America’s number-one adversary.
The deal will ultimately mean more investment, income, innovation, and jobs in the US. Japan has agreed to invest $550 billion, with 90 percent of the profits staying stateside. This means more construction and factories, more research and development, and more employment of Americans.
Interim US Attorney for New Jersey Alina Habba was almost booted from her job. Last week, federal judges voted to reject extending her tenure, opting to elevate her deputy, Desiree Leigh Grace, for the job. It was planned to take effect once Habba’s 120-day interim appointment expired. The Trump Justice Department wasn’t going to let that slide. A federal judge has denied the Trump administration’s request to unseal transcripts from Florida grand jury proceedings related to a 20-year-old criminal investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, saying her “hands are tied.” U.S. District Court Judge for the Southern District of Florida Robin Rosenberg wrote in her denial that an unrelated 2020 ruling by the Eleventh U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals “does not permit” her to unseal grand jury records in instances not covered by the criminal procedure rule, CNBC reported.
“Eleventh Circuit law does not permit this Court to grant the Government’s request; the Court’s hands are tied — a point the Government concedes,” Rosenberg wrote.
Monday on FNC’s “Hannity,” Rep. It's striking how similar NPR's situation is to that of Planned Parenthood. Both organizations have an affiliate model and both just had a lot of federal money cut from their budgets. That means both are now hoping to find new sources of funding to keep the doors open. The NY Times reports there has been an increase in donations to PBS and NPR but so far the amount isn't nearly enough to offset the cuts.

The accusation is absurd. You can't lose tens of millions of dollars a year and expect to keep your $15 million a year job. The math doesn't work.
But, as we know, propaganda works with people who want to believe it. All you need is an authoritative voice to say the most absurd things, and people inclined to believe it, will. Even many who do not start out believing it come to do so, based on the "when there is smoke, there's fire principle.
