President Donald Trump indicated that he supported Attorney General Pam Bondi, stating that she had handled files relating to convicted sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein “very well.” When speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Trump revealed that Bondi had given him a “very quick briefing” regarding the memo released by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and added that the files were “made up by” former FBI Director James Comey and former President Barack Obama, ABC News reported. Trump’s response comes after the DOJ and FBI released a memo that found that there was no evidence that Epstein had a client list, and that an investigation

We don't like not having access to that evidence but they are probably right. Criminal enterprises do not keep formal lists of who they deal with because that would be suicide in court. Hillary probably did because she is stupid but that unfortunate computer has been hammered, smashed, bleached and flushed away. The FBI has a long history of disappearing evidence that does not support what they want us to believe.

I am encouraged that even Dershowitz is defending the truth of what the administration is saying. Still, Wayne Allan Root has made some excellent points about the importance of this issue to the MAGA base. POTUS Trump needs to address the nation on this matter himself.

Well that is doubling down on stupid! Ask Hillary how her "what difference does it make" lecture went. Did I expect a government to be accountable when powerful people are involved in criminal behavior when I voted for Trump? Yes I did. #3 Dershowitz actually defended Epstein in the Florida rape case and got him a plea deal, so don't be encouraged by anything that man has to say in support of the "nothing to see here" effort.

No doubt much of the 'evidence' has been either redacted for security reasons (Israel), privacy issues (the girls were minors), Grand Jury evidence, or some other legal bs like ungoing investigations. It'll come out somewhere, somehow. Probably when the perps are either dead or far removed from any prosecution. I don't get why someone cannot articulate that in a simple, direct manner. I just did!

Surely no list ever existed. Capone didn't have a 2nd set of books; and the Nazis kept no records of the Holocaust. If those redactions, or total suppression were necessary and justified, it was certainly a miscue to intimate that evidence would be released. Why not be upfront about the reality? How about this Reagan-era Golden Oldie: mistakes were made?

Many on here would agree that child molesters are incurable. Some have even suggested some draconian measures. I don't believe anyone wants child molesters to walk freely about. They should be registered sex offenders at a minimum. For the sake of justice they should be sent to prison. This whole thing sinks of there are those who are privileged and that are above the law. In a nation of laws justice demands no one is above the law. Their beating the drum of there being no list is a farce. There are known child molesters and are free. Mr. Dershowitz said, many are already known, there is no protecting the innocent excuse there. they are know. Mr. Dershowitz also said there is evidence and it should be released and it will not cause and of the damage being suggested as a reason not to disclose and prosecute.

Although an absolute devotee of this salon for more than 20 years and personally conflicted about sharing news from a salon-forbidden source, compassion for President Trump and American patriotism are compelling forces for deciding to do so. From that forbidden source, written by a seasoned and award-winning journalist, President Trump said “...Democrats have hit ‘pay dirt’ getting even his ‘past supporters’ sucked into the ‘bull***t,’ sowing discord and division in his base.” President Trump cited previous Democrat successes with the Steel Dossier, the lying 51 “intelligence” Agents, the Laptop from Hell, and the Russia, Russia, Russia Scam going on to say that even after eight years, some of his supporters “...haven’t learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years.” As President Trump observes, Democrats, “...unlike Republicans, they stick together like glue.” Perhaps it is time to step back and allow this man, President Trump, who has put his life (and family) on the line for this country, to deal with matters vital to this country’s safety, security, and economy as well as potentially dangerous global flash points. It is time for Conservatives to get back to a balance between emotion and intellect; to stop being conned by left wing con artists in the mainstream media and politics.

Amen, #12! I understand being upset about the lack of transparency that we all are wanting on the Epstein case. But, I’m not willing to sell out the restoration of this Constitutional Republic on suspicions about it. PDJT has indeed put his life on the line (still doing it every day!) to save this country from the ever increasing evil we have endured under its control for years. He has been right about his decisions far more often than not. He has proven himself trustworthy to the American Ideal and those of US who cherish it. The leftists have been doing everything they can to cause divisions among MAGA, and anger toward PDJT. How ironic that the very thing that seems to be playing into their hands is precisely the most egregious evil of all, and is perpetrated, promoted and protected by their political policies and godlessness. I don’t know why PDT made the decision that he made about the Epstein files. But, I trust that the reason involves doing what is best for our country, and definitely not colluding with the Swamp dwellers, as some are unwittingly doing by attacking him to the detriment of all other vital efforts he is accomplishing toward restoration, and saving this country from their reclamation of power. I believe with all my heart, IF the Epstein case would actually have been the weapon to destroy the Deep State, that PT would have used it. He has his reasons for not doing so, at this time. His concerted efforts and actions are destroying the proliferation of evil in many important ways. He knows what is happening behind the scenes. WE don’t. He has good people in place who are helping him. I’m not going to abandon him, and provide advantage to the evil we want destroyed, just when great progress is being made toward victory. I pray cooler heads and clearer thoughts will prevail. There are many people who do not believe God is in control, that He knows all, sees all, and answers prayers to help us through troubled times. I do. We must never get so caught up in any particular circumstance that we lose sight of “all things working together for the good for those who are called according to His purpose”. I pray for the good of PDJT, all of US, and everyone who stands for good over evil. I hope there are enough of US who will pray for the same. God’s will be done.

Trump admin pulls plug on $4B for California's

California's embattled high-speed rail project suffered a major setback after Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced the termination of $4 billion in unspent federal funding by the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA). Citing 16 years of failure, no completed high-speed track, and escalating costs, Duffy declared the project, dubbed the "train to nowhere," a mismanaged and over-budget "boondoggle." "This is California’s fault. Governor Newsom and the complicit Democrats have enabled this waste for years. Federal dollars are not a blank check – they come with a promise to deliver results," Duffy said in a statement.

Democrats are counting on a big victory in 2026 to bring their party out of political purgatory, but things aren't exactly going according to plan. CNN's data guru, Harry Enten, offered a "reality check" on Wednesday, citing the current polling numbers compared to what we were seeing in 2018. Traditionally, out-of-power parties have an advantage across multiple fundamentals in midterm elections. That's not materializing, though. Not yet, anyway, and as I'll discuss, that's a big problem for Democrats for one simple reason. I have to wonder how much Enten is liked over at CNN, given his job often becomes quashing the unbridled narratives of his left-wing colleagues.

The U.S. Department of Justice has fired Maurene Comey, the daughter of former FBI director James Comey and a federal prosecutor who worked on cases against Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jeffrey Epstein. The reason for her firing remains unclear. Maurene Comey, an assistant U.S. attorney in the southern district of New York, most recently led the prosecution of Sean “Diddy” Combs. The rapper was convicted of a prostitution-related charge this month but acquitted of more serious charges. Maurene Comey had previously prosecuted Ghislaine Maxwell, the former associate of Epstein who helped the financier run his child sex trafficking ring.

Late-night dramatics and surprise defections capped off the push to advance President Donald Trump’s multibillion-dollar clawback package through procedural hurdles, but now lawmakers are nearing the finish line. Lawmakers cruised through hours of debate on Trump’s $9 billion rescissions package Wednesday morning and are now entering into another vote-a-rama, where both sides of the aisle can offer an unlimited number of amendments to the package. At stake are clawbacks that would yank back congressionally approved funding for foreign aid programs and public broadcasting, which Senate Democrats, and some Republicans, have admonished.

Republican prospects for keeping the House of Representatives in 2026 have been hanging on by a thread, but President Donald Trump and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott are getting ready to execute an end run around that. In a move that left Democrats stunned and fuming, Abbott has called a special session so that the GOP-controlled legislature can redraw the Texas congressional lines. That came after the Trump-led DOJ found that several districts in the state were likely illegal gerrymanders. The projection is that Republicans could pick up as many as five seats, most of which would be in the Rio Grande area.
