A 62-year-old woman has been charged after driving through a crowd of anti-ICE protesters who surrounded and began pounding on her car in New Jersey.
Linda Roglen, 62, of North Bergen, was driving past the Noches De Colombia on Fairview Avenue in the borough of Fairview when she encountered a group protesting ICE raids on Saturday.
One of the protesters confronted her car, and she sped up, allegedly running over his foot.
The man falls to the ground, Roglen stops, and the protesters swarm her vehicle and begin banging on the windows.
At this point, the car is surrounded, and Roglen slowly drives through.

When disaster struck the Texas Hill Country, true American patriots answered the call—not with words, but with action.
Led by combat veteran John Rourke and his nonprofit We Fund the Blue Foundation, a rapid-response mission was launched into Center Point, Texas, one of the communities hardest hit by the recent catastrophic flooding.
Rourke and his team delivered a $20,000 donation directly to the Center Point Volunteer Fire Department, helping them begin the costly process of replacing critical equipment lost in the floodwaters. On top of that, a massive $50,000 worth of donated fire equipment—courtesy of National Marine in Houston, Texas—was delivered to bolster the town’s emergency readiness for future disasters.

Over 400 protests are scheduled to take place in all 50 states against President Donald Trump and his administration on July 17.
The rallies, being called “Good Trouble Lives On,” will take place on the anniversary of the death of Democrat activist and congressman John Lewis. It is a nod to his famous call to action, “Get in good trouble, necessary trouble,” which he used to encourage people to participate in protests.
As with many other recent nationwide days of protest, including the now-infamous “No Kings” day, it is being organized by the 50501 Movement.
The 50501 Movement’s name stands for “50 protests. 50 states. 1 movement.”

Dems lost their minds on Friday after White House Border Czar Tom Homan listed "physical appearance" as one -- one -- of the criteria ICE officers and Border Patrol agents can take into consideration when developing reasonable suspicion to briefly detain and question people, accusing Homan of saying that ICE officers and Border Patrol agents can and will detain people simply based on their appearance.
Here's what Homan actually said:
“Look, people need to understand, ICE officers and Border Patrol don’t need probable cause to walk up to somebody, briefly detain them, and question them. They just need totality of the circumstances, right? They just go through the observation,

A federal judge in Los Angeles is trying to shut down ICE enforcement of the nation’s popular immigration laws on the claim that it is illegally “profiling” people in California.
Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong, of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, issued two restraining orders late on Friday. Frimpong was nominated by President Joe Biden and is the daughter of two immigrants from Ghana. She was selected by both Harvard and Yale universities.[snip]The suspects’ race and ethnicity, their difficulty speaking English, their location at sites known for hiring illegal immigrants, and their class of work do not meet the “probable cause” requirement for arrests, the judge ruled.

It happened one year ago today: Around 6:15 PM, Donald Trump was nearly assassinated at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania—a near-fatal headshot missed by mere millimeters. Trump surviving this assassination attempt is nothing short of miraculous, not only because the shooter was so close, but also because his security detail was questionable. One round did clip his ear. The shots came from a rifle fired by Thomas Matthew Crooks, who was perched on an unsecured rooftop less than 400 yards from the main stage. It was a glaring and inexcusable security breach for the United States Secret Service, which recently suspended six agents for their conduct on that day.

For months, the signs have been impossible to ignore: the Democratic Party is in freefall. Poll after poll shows voters turning away in droves—disillusioned by the party’s radical agenda, frustrated by its lack of leadership, and convinced it no longer represents their values. The 2024 elections were a political earthquake, and in the aftermath, Democrats have been left picking through the rubble of a once-dominant coalition. The party’s “next generation” of leaders—Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jasmine Crockett—have all the gravitas of a student council president demanding longer lunch periods and less homework.
So now the question is: What does a broken party do when it’s staring into the abyss?

President Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, is not a man who pulls punches or backs down from confrontation. At the Turning Point Student Action Summit in Tampa, Homan delivered a performance that wasn’t just memorable—it was a masterclass in unapologetic patriotism and unwavering resolve. In an era where the loudest voices often belong to those who have never served or sacrificed for this country, Homan’s response to a heckler was a much-needed reminder of what real leadership looks like.
As Homan took the stage, he made it clear that under the renewed direction of the Trump administration, the days of open borders and lawlessness are over.

Protesters and even California Gov. Gavin Newsom targeted Vice President JD Vance as he visited Disneyland with his family this weekend.
Sharing a video of Vance with his family at the Southern California theme park, Newsom wrote, “Hope you enjoy your family time, @JDVance. The families you’re tearing apart certainly won’t,” in a post on X on Saturday.
Some 100 to 150 protesters gathered outside the gates of the “Happiest Place on Earth” to jeer Vance and his family on Friday and Saturday after his presence at the park was reported, according to the Orange County Register.

It sounded like a great idea.
Governor Andrew Cuomo, before he was unceremoniously forced out of office, convinced state lawmakers to shell out over $100 million to purchase decorative LED lights to enhance the beauty of some of New York's most iconic bridges. (snip) but the lights ended up sitting unused in a warehouse for more than seven years until they were recently auctioned off for less than half a percent of the project’s overall cost.

God’s got his back.
One year after President Trump came within an inch of his life after a failed assassination attempt in Butler, Pa., he is more determined than ever to “turn around the ship” — and believes divine intervention is allowing him to do it, his allies told The Post ahead of the July 13 anniversary.
“He told me directly that he believes he was spared by God for the purpose of restoring the nation to greatness, and that he believes deeply that he is protected now by the Lord,” Trump’s longtime political adviser Roger Stone told The Post.
“I also think he gained a sense of urgency,

Gunfire during a class reunion left four people injured in Tennessee Saturday — and now, police are on the hunt for the shooter.
Authorities in Chattanooga have yet to release a description of the suspect, but have assured people no threat to the public exists, reported the Chattanooga Times Free Press
The four shooting victims were taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, according to multiple reports. “Everybody was just having a good time,” eyewitness Jeoff Herman told Local News 3 in Chattanooga.

President Trump has revealed what he wants history books to remember him for after he leaves office.
“A good person, but a person that saved our country,” the president told his daughter-in-law during an interview on “Fox News’ “My View With Lara Trump.”
“I really believed our country was going down for the fall.” He added: “I don’t know if it ever could’ve come back. It was very close to the edge — and I really would like to be known as the man that saved our country.” Throughout his 2024 campaign and early days back in the White House,

Cynical Publius, a poster on X, accurately describes for me the fantastical conspiratorial posts this week about Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Jeffrey Epstein records and death as “ragebait engagement farming.” I hate mobs and mob thinking, and I think Bondi has achieved a remarkable courtroom record against a tsunami of judicial insurrection. This week the Department of Justice she heads, for example, just won its 13th Supreme Court victory in six months. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirms that the President is proud of her and considers the “continued fixation or sowing discord on [his] cabinet is baseless and unfounded in reality.

Today is the first anniversary of the shooting of the Republican presidential candidate ithe awful corrupt American media lost all interest in the story, which remains the most under-investigated presidential assassination attempt of the last hundred years. Curious. Here is the column I wrote a year ago with a few annotations twelve months on: Let's cut to the chase - the US Secret Service: In on it? Or just totally crap?
(Snip) Having been informed of both foreign and domestic threats against Donald Trump, they created conditions that greatly assisted anyone wishing to take a shot at the President to do so.

People across the political spectrum were outraged this week when President Donald Trump dismissed the importance of the Epstein List. During his campaign, President Trump said, “Yeah, I’d do the Epstein thing. I’d have no problem with it.” Many people voted for President Trump, at least in part, because he promised to release the list. (snip)
As Christians, we understand that many times wicked deeds go unpunished in this present evil age. The Psalms testify repeatedly that evildoers seem to prosper because of their wealth and power, while those who are seeking the Lord suffer injustice and persecution

The Pentagon is pressing Japan and Australia to make clear what role they would play if the US and China went to war over Taiwan, in an effort that has frustrated the two most important American allies in the Indo-Pacific.
Elbridge Colby, under-secretary of defence for policy, has been pushing the issue in meetings with Japanese and Australian defence officials in recent months, said five people familiar with the discussions.
The push is his latest effort to convince US allies in the Indo-Pacific to enhance deterrence and prepare for a potential war over Taiwan.
