The coordination between the propaganda press and Senate Democrats was pitifully obvious on Wednesday during Emil J. Bove III’s judicial confirmation hearing. The New York Times teed up a perfectly timed hit piece that ran a day before the hearing. Then Democrats used it to make numerous desperate swings at Bove. He anticipated their questions and started answering, right from his opening statement.
“I am someone who tries to stand up for what I believe is right,” Bove said. “I’m not afraid to make difficult decisions. I understand that some of those decisions have generated controversy.

We don't yet know the timeline, but the Trump administration appears to be planning to use the power the Supreme Court just acknowledged to deport Kilmar Abrego Garcia to a third-party country. As you may recall, two major legal issues were being argued about Abrego Garcia's deportation to El Salvador; the one, of course, was the "due process" argument, and the other was the fact that while he had been ordered deported, he was not to be deported to El Salvador due to his claimed fear for his life.

Hey New Yorkers. I heard you're probably going to get an outright communist as your mayor. Zohran Mamdani sounds like a real peach, and the fact that he won the Democrat Primary and is well on his way to the mayor's office has made many of you fire up your Zillow account and start looking for homes out of state.
I don't blame you, but let me offer you some advice. You're probably going to be tempted to come to Texas because so many companies have moved here, and you feel like you could easily land a job. I could see why you'd think that,

If you haven’t been to New York City before, you missed it. It’s not destroyed, it’s just a mess and not worth visiting. You still could – it’s great place to take the family if you love the smell of fresh urine on hot concrete coupled with potent marijuana, because you smell that combination pretty much everywhere.
The city is dying, and we should let it. Progressives are all in favor of assisted suicide, we should join them in the case of New York and help the city kill itself. Only a complete embrace of socialist/fascist/communist policies (and there isn’t a dime’s worth of difference between the three)

Americans woke up this morning to a reminder that our military isn’t merely watching the world’s villains – it is methodically, relentlessly preparing to annihilate them when the moment of decision comes. From the Pentagon podium, Brigadier General Raisin Caine laid out the story of two quietly legendary Defense Threat Reduction Agency officers who, the very day Iran began carving the Fordow enrichment plant into a mountainside, accepted a life‑long mission: figure out how to bury it for good. They “dreamt about it at night as they slept,” Caine said, “they thought about it driving back and forth to work”. For fifteen years they kept the faith, speaking of it to no one,

Zohran Mamdani, who won the Democratic mayoral primary on Tuesday, will not be able to keep Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) away from the city if he wins the general election, according to border czar Tom Homan.
Mamdani has promised to “stop ICE agents from deporting our neighbors.”
“Well, good luck with that,” Homan said.
“I mean, matter of fact, the president made it clear we're going to double down and triple down [on] sanctuary cities. And why is that? It isn't to attack blue cities. It's because they're [a] sanctuary city. We know for a fact they're releasing public safety threats and national security threats back to the streets every day.

Important newsflash for the Senate GOP: the recommendations of the woke Senate parliamentarian, who is trying to ensure that absolutely no financial reform is enacted, are not binding.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune has said he’s not going to challenge the outrageous decisions of the Senate Parliamentarian, and no doubt he’d like you to believe there’s no option otherwise. That is simply untrue. There are multiple ways of overruling the unelected Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough’s decisions. As voters, it’s very important we understand the legal realities of our system and not give our elected representatives a pass just because they claimed helplessness.

Wisconsin’s liberal‑controlled Supreme Court, locked in a 4–3 ideological split, refused to intervene in Democratic efforts to redraw the state’s GOP‑dominated congressional map.
Democrats claim the maps are a gerrymandered power grab, crying foul as they see their roadmap to regaining House control vanish.
The Elias Law Group and Campaign Legal Center filed dual petitions in May, urging the Court to invalidate the 6‑2 Republican‑leaning congressional configuration, claiming it violates the state’s constitutional promise of equal representation.

U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are putting together a comprehensive Middle East peace plan, beginning with an end to the war in Gaza within two weeks.
According to a report in Israel Hayom, a publication that is considered supportive of Netanyahu, the following elements would be included in the plan:
Gaza hostilities will conclude within two weeks, ending conditions will encompass four Arab nations (including Egypt and the United Arab Emirates) to administer the Gaza Strip, replacing the murderous Hamas terrorist organization. The remaining Hamas leadership will face exile to other countries, while the hostages gain freedom.

On his first day in office — of his second term, not his wasted first term — President Trump signed an executive order ending anchor babies, the practice of treating kids born to illegals on U.S. soil as full-fledged citizens. (Apparently, our Founding Fathers wanted to ensure that poverty-stricken third-worlders who force their way into our country would never have to leave.) Three federal district court judges promptly issued (you’ll never guess) nationwide injunctions blocking Trump’s order. The Supreme Court is expected to rule on those injunctions any day now. It may be that the anchor baby lunacy is . . .

"Operation Midnight Hammer was the culmination of those 15 years of incredible work," General Dan 'Razin' Caine told reporters this morning in a briefing on the strikes in Iran. The Pentagon developed the GBU-57 bunker-buster in part for this mission, modeled its effects 'extensively,' and applied it directly on target. Gen. Cain made sure everyone knew that this was not an impulsive idea, but rather the fruition of a long-game strategy matched with the specter of acute weaponization -- and the will to defeat it.
The story begins when Western intelligence first noticed the Iranians building something significant at Fordow, Cain explains:

According to a message of support sent by President Trump, the Israeli judiciary are now back to targeting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for removal. We suspect this would not have happened, at least the timing herein, if President Trump had not just executed a bold strategic move to disconnect U.S. interests directly from the interests/influence of the Israeli government.
This response from the Israeli deep state is in alignment with our expectation.

Zohran Mamdani, winner of the Democratic Party’s New York City mayoral primary, is overflowing with Marxist ideas of how to govern that are so lousy that it’s hard to believe he got more than his own vote in Tuesday’s election. Each of them is horrendous, from free bus services to rent control to punitive taxes on those who create prosperity, but none are quite so laughable as his proposal to establish a chain of city-run grocery stores.
Mamdani’s campaign literature – overflowing with empty leftist jargon – says if elected he “will create a network of city-owned grocery stores focused on keeping prices low, not making a profit.”

CNN last week got their hands on a classified document stolen from the National Security Agency. That’s a felony punishable by ten years in prison, by the way.
The stolen document guessed that the efforts by Israel and America to neutralize Iran’s nuclear weapon program had set back the program by only “a few months.”
CNN and the rest of the media cabal could hardly contain their glee. They celebrated the failure of America and Israel.
Hardly mentioned in CNN’s report was that the document itself noted that its conclusions were merely “preliminary” and were expressed with only “low confidence.”

On January 20, 2025, the first day of his second presidential term, Donald Trump signed an executive order: “Restoring Freedom of Speech and Ending Federal Censorship.” The bad old days of the “censorship-industrial complex,” allegedly responsible for suppressing online speech under President Joe Biden, were over.
Except they weren’t. The driving force behind online censorship had never been the U.S. government, which meant that freedom of speech could not be restored by the stroke of a president’s pen. Rather, the European Union has wielded its Digital Services Act (DSA) to restrict the speech not just of Europeans but especially of Americans and other English-speakers.

Formerly a Democrat, she was the Democratic candidate for president in 2020 who defenestrated Kamala Harris in the Democratic Party's presidential primary debate. I’m frustrated when colleagues treat evening news as gospel, eagerly discussing 60 Minutes or Rachel Maddow’s take on events. After revelations like CBS’s edited Kamala Harris interview and plummeting cable news viewership, I’m stunned that anyone still trusts legacy media, especially people who otherwise seem rational.
A February Gallup poll reveals that 31% of Americans trust media outlets, with 33% expressing “not much” trust and 36% none at all. This is a sharp decline from the 1970s, when 72% trusted mass media. The poll highlights a partisan divide: 54% of Democrats, 27% of independents, and 12% of Republicans trust mainstream media. This gap reflects confirmation bias,

President Trump has teased the release Thursday of “irrefutable” proof that “fake news” outlets like CNN and the New York Times “lied” about the damage inflicted by the US strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Khamenei spoke in a video broadcast on Iranian state television, his first appearance since June 19.
He told viewers that the U.S. had only intervened in the war because “it felt that if it did not intervene, the Zionist regime would be utterly destroyed.”
But he said, however, that the U.S. “achieved no gains from this war.

In his campaign for re-election, Mayor Eric Adams says he’s running on his record … against a guy who has no record.
He’s referring, of course, to Zohran Mamdani, the 33-year-old socialist nepo baby who won this week’s Democratic primary. The State Assemblyman has barely held a job and has been absent for about 50% of Assembly votes.
But it can’t be denied that Adams must defend his record.
In September 2024, he earned the dubious distinction of becoming the first sitting New York City mayor hit with a federal indictment — accused of bribery and conspiracy. The case was dropped in April on orders from President Trump’s Department of Justice.

Europol reports indicate that Europe is now home to tens of thousands of radicalized individuals. The attacks in Paris (2015) and Brussels (2016) demonstrate the feasibility of complex operations by small groups.
Will people who criticize Islam be dragged through the courts by a desperate regime, while those who outspokenly fantasize about murdering Jews are granted a blank check?
Is quoting Islamic law "inflammatory"? The answer is completely arbitrary. The European Court of Human Rights often upholds convictions if statements about Islam are deemed to disrupt "religious peace" or "target Muslims". This subjective determination reflects a legal trend in Europe to prioritize "social cohesion" over freedom of speech, unlike the U.S. First Amendment.

“War is thus an act of force to compel our enemy to do our will.” — Carl von Clausewitz.
War is not chaos. It is the deliberate application of force in pursuit of political objectives. Every modern conflict must be judged according to those objectives. Based on what can be objectively and openly assessed, Israel and the United States achieved overwhelming success at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels. Iran, while executing limited retaliation, suffered a decisive defeat.

Senators are set to meet with top national security officials Thursday as many question President Donald Trump’s decision to bomb three Iranian nuclear sites — and whether those strikes were ultimately successful.
The classified briefing, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday and was delayed, also comes as the Senate is expected to vote this week on a resolution that would require congressional approval if Trump decides to strike Iran again. Democrats, and some Republicans, have said that the White House overstepped its authority when it failed to seek the advice of Congress and they want to know more about the intelligence that Trump relied on when he authorized the attacks.

The Trump administration is preparing to test a 1974 budget law by refusing to spend congressionally mandated funds, senior federal officials say — an escalation that could change the balance of power between Congress and the White House.
In both internal communications and interviews, more than two dozen current and former employees across multiple agencies said the administration appears to be readying to push the boundaries of the law meant to prevent the president from unilaterally overturning spending decisions made by Congress.
Key White House aides have long argued that the law is an unconstitutional limit on presidential power and suggested that they will seek court rulings to overturn it
