As was widely expected, overnight in Tehran, Israel has begun a series of what it calls “preemptive strikes” against Iran. Iranian state media outlet IRNA reported repeated explosions could be heard in Tehran.
(snip)Sirens were sounded in Israel as the nation prepares for long-planned counter attacks from Iran to begin. Three hours before the Israeli strikes began, President Trump released a statement saying, “We remain committed to a Diplomatic Resolution to the Iran Nuclear Issue! My entire Administration has been directed to negotiate with Iran. They could be a Great Country, but they first must completely give up hopes of obtaining a Nuclear Weapon.

On Tuesday, I asked, "Who is Handing Out Face Shields and Other Tactical Gear to Rioters, and Who Is Paying for It?"
On Thursday, we got some answers.
Alejandro Orellana, a professional radical activist, was arrested by the FBI early on Thursday morning. The bureau took Orellana into custody for "Conspiracy to Commit Civil Disorders." (snip)U.)Orellana is a member of the radical "Brown Berets," modeled after the group Black Panthers, which advocated for armed self-defense for blacks. Orellana's radical connections don't stop there. DataRepublican (DR) went very deep into Orellana's associations in an effort to find out exactly who is behind the funding of the various radical groups

U.S. Secretary of State / National Security Advisor, Marco Rubio, and Director of National Intelligence ODNI Tulsi Gabbard continue making background moves well worth noticing.
♦ Secretary Marco Rubio has moved forward with instructions to fire all overseas USAID staff.(snip)Meanwhile, in an ancillary story that only begins to make sense in hindsight, we discover that DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, a name very familiar to those who followed the Trump-Russia collusion nonsense, was removed from his DOJ-NSD oversight role and has been transferred to the Federal Reserve office.
Inspector General Michael Horowitz begins his new position on June 30th, with the announcement date noted as June 6th:

The FBI is investigating what is fueling the riots against immigration enforcement in Los Angeles, the agency’s director Kash Patel said.
“The FBI is investigating any and all monetary connections responsible for these riots,” Patel told The Epoch Times in response to rising concerns about possible Chinese influence behind the chaos.
One group backing the unrest is the Party for Socialism and Liberation, a communist political party linked to networks funded by pro-Beijing tech tycoon Neville Roy Singham.

The U.S. Supreme Court on June 10 denied stays of execution in two capital cases, rulings that allowed the condemned men to be executed within minutes of each other later the same day. In August 1988, Hunt beat his girlfriend of one month, Karen Sanders Lane, to death. The killing came after Hunt chased Lane through the streets and burned down her house. He forced entry into an apartment she shared with his cousin and left behind fingerprints and a bloody palm print, the state said in a brief opposing Hunt’s stay request.

Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom has been whining about President Trump deploying the National Guard and the Marines to Los Angeles to quell the unrest. He says it wasn’t necessary, even daring the administration to arrest him. Newsom has been at the forefront of trying to walk this waffled line that the riots in LA are peaceful, but there's also lots of mayhem so don’t take Trump’s bait or something. He doesn’t know what to say or do,(snip).Hanson torched Newsom, saying that these antics might have ruined his chances of being taken seriously as a national candidate since he cannot grapple with the immigration issue, as no Democrat can right now.

This indictment summary reads like a movie script.A member of the Chinese Communist Party, Shenghua Wen, 42, of Ontario California, came to the USA on a student visa in 2012; he never left.
Wen remained in the USA illegally, while somehow purchasing “a firearms business in Houston, paid for with money sent through intermediaries by one of Wen’s North Korean contacts.”
After organizing a covert life in the United States, and after purchasing the firearms company, Wen began sending weapons and sensitive military hardware to China, where it was transshipped by prior agreement and sent into North Korea. You just have to read the DOJ press release to review the unbelievable

At sporadic times of inconsequential normalcy, on the streets of Russia you will see two distinct types of people asked for identification, Asians and middle eastern males. When asked why, the average, ordinary grey-person in Russia going about their business, ambivalently has no idea.Russia is a massive country.
To the southeast they are bordered by China, Mongolia and Asia, they even have a small border with North Korea. To the southwest they have the “stans,” most notably Kazakhstan; this region is the source of most domestic terrorists who attack inside Russia. To the West they have Ukraine (snip)
\d War II is still very much a part of their social compact.

President Trump returns to the White House from a brief and undocumented trip to Camp David. After pausing to talk to the construction teams assembling the massive new flagpole on the White House grounds, President Trump briefly spoke to reporters who asked questions about the Los Angeles riots.

The anniversary of George Floyd’s death this past weekend was marked by claims that the country’s attempt to finally deal with its systemic racism had been brushed aside with “the resurgence of old power structures” — as put by University of Connecticut professor Manisha Sinha, who represents the NEW power structure where Indian immigrants get all the good affirmative action jobs.Inspired by a crack addict’s death, the Racial Reckoning required, among other things, putting black women in charge of everything. The plan was foolproof. It literally had no flaw. Unburdened by what has been, there was no telling what these scrappy gals could do.
