Democratic Party hits new polling low,

The Democratic Party has reached an all-time low in popularity in the latest national NBC News poll, as it searches for a path forward after a painful loss to President Donald Trump — and as the party’s voters spoil for a fight between their leaders in Washington and Trump. Just over a quarter of registered voters (27%) say they have positive views of the party, which is the party’s lowest positive rating in NBC News polling dating back to 1990. Just 7% say those views are “very” positive. “With these numbers, the Democratic Party is not in need of a

Comments:

Dems keep thinking snarky social media posts and opposing every single thing Trump does is a winning formula. Instead, they are sinking out of sight.

Oh look! A "news" story based solely on polling numbers. Anyone who believes Nothing But Commie polls, much less the vast majority of other polling data, is really touched in the head. I guess that's where we got "Democrats" to begin with, you know the "touched in the head" crowd.

The dems voters are elitist who are not used to the word "no". They have no desire to even know that President Trump is doing a wonderful job. They have no desire to know who was running the country under the biden regime. They are a party of "Karen's" now.

Only interesting fact to emerge from this story is that Democrats haven't been this unpopular since 1990. I hope Republicans *remember* what happened in 1990: President George H.W. Bush *agreed* to hike a variety of taxes after Democrat prodding, which put an economy that was soft into a "hard landing" recession.... which the Democrats then used against President Bush in 1992 to make him a one-term president. Never forget, Republicans! And bear in mind that we need more than four more years of PDJT to fix the Dummycrat destruction of this country. MAGA and Trumpism needs at least 12 solid years in the White House... and the longer, the better. So don't blow it now... get the tax cuts through Congress, use legislation to cut regulatory red tape that executive orders can't, etc. etc.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — California lawmakers this week advanced several efforts aimed at reining in utility profits and slashing electricity bills as part of their agenda to tackle the sky-high costs of living. The proposals would make sweeping changes to how utilities fund expensive infrastructure projects like putting power lines underground to guard against wildfires. They also would add more oversight around wildfire mitigation spending and put new requirements on utility requests to increase rates. Supporters said the goal is to make the big investor-owned utilities start sharing some of the costs to fight wildfires and build new transmission infrastructure. “This

Walz, a former schoolteacher who went to Congress and then became his state’s governor, will keynote the South Carolina gathering in Columbia, traditionally a showcase for national-level Democrats and White House hopefuls. Democrats are trying to make “TACO” — or “Trump always chickens out”— a new political slogan to get under the president’s skin. But it is not as clever a quip as they think it is, and it creates a perverse incentive for Trump to push the red buttons they don’t want him to push. (snip) it is straightforwardly wrongheaded as a political slogan. Why on Earth would Democrats dare Trump to follow through on his most extreme tariff threats? If this slogan were to really work, (snip)it would nudge him and his allies to cling more tightly to the most extreme versions of Trump’s bad economic policies.

William Sullivan’s essay regarding scientific atheism is intriguing and enlightening. It got me thinking about a very simple proof for a Creator. The atheist loves to proclaim, “There is no scientific proof of the existence of God!” This is true, since by “scientific” proof, the atheist means “empirical” proof, and there is no empirical proof of anything. However, it is quite easy to use logic to prove in easy steps that God exists and that He is the God of the Bible. 1. Every existing thing either is or is not existentially dependent upon the action of other beings. Those beings that are existentially dependent are called “contingent.” A being that is not
