‘Milk’ Star Sean Penn Rages at Trump,
Hegseth for Renaming Ship Named After
Gay Rights Activist Harvey Milk

Original Article

Screenwriter Dustin Lance Black and Milk star Sean Penn criticized Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth for ordering the United States Navy to remove the name of slain gay rights leader Harvey Milk from oiler ship USNS Harvey Milk. Black and Penn won Academy Award for their work in the 2008 film Milk, and both criticized Hegseth for ordering the removal of Harvey Milk’s name from the ship, describing him as not seeming “like a smart man, a wise man” or knowledgeable, according to the Hollywood Reporter. “I’ve never before seen a Secretary of Defense so aggressively demote himself to the rank of Chief PETTY Officer,” Penn said in an e-mail to the outlet.

Comments:

Go eff yourself, Spicoli.... the only role Penn ever played where he was a natural fit.

Harvey Milk was kicked out of the Navy when he served as an officer because he went after young male sailors for sex. There sane person would think that naming a naval ship after a lowlife like that is a good thing.

Sean Penn angry? Sorry, but this begs the question, when has he ever been happy? Sorry Spicoli, but we don't name our Navy ships after a person mostly famous for his degeneracy and political activism. A person who never did anything substantial in his prior military service, other than show up for work on time for four years. I can't imagine how terrible it's been for sailors to have to admit to having served aboard this ship. I'll not sully this salon with the most applicable and typical military jokes that would be hurled at them. Sean Penn should go ask his buddies in Cuba or Venezuela to name one of their vessels of war after a flaming homosexual... I'm sure they'd be "thrilled." /s

Well if anyone could know about the Navy it's Salty dog Sean. I remember his Herculean efforts after Katrina when he bolded set sail to save NOLA. And as all good Navy men do, he ignored the basic and sank his command by leaving the plug out. And thus, like so many DeMS-13, he caused the real rescuers to abandon their primary role (saving Katrina victims) to saving worthless Hollyweird morons like Penn. The Navy, in honor of Penn, should rename every ship that is sunk to make a reef Penn. Sink 'em Sean would befit his legacy.

I was offended when they named the ship after Milk. Ships are named after presidents, states, cities, war heros and people of extraordinary accomplishments. Having sex with the same sex and being a councilman for the city of SF hardly qualifies. This ship naming was done specifically to irritate Republicans. Not all of us are onboard with the liberal LGBT agenda.

The critical follow-on function for a devastating strike like the one Donald Trump just launched against the goat-molesting seventh-century semi-humans ruling Iran is battle damage assessment. BDA is a crucial function – you need to understand how much pain you inflicted and calculate whether you need to inflict some more. But you don’t just do it on the enemy; you have to do it on yourself, too. It’s vital that we, as America First conservatives, conduct our own BDA on what this strike did to our movement.

President Trump on Monday blasted former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev over remarks suggesting Iran’s allies could supply it with nuclear warheads as Tehran promises to retaliate for U.S. strikes on its nuclear facilities. “The enrichment of nuclear material — and, now we can say it outright, the future production of nuclear weapons — will continue,” Medvedev, the deputy chairman of the Security Council of Russia, said in a Sunday X post. “A number of countries are ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads.” Trump took to Truth Social to ask if Medvedev was “casually throwing around the ‘N word’ (Nuclear!).”

On Sunday morning Russia's former president and current deputy chairman of the country's Security Council Dmitry Medvedev issued his reaction to the major US overnight strike on Iran's nuclear facilities, giving what's essentially the view of where things stand from the Kremlin. Medvedev in a ten-point list of reactions characterized the attacks as ultimately ineffective, and that it will blow back on America and Israel in a way opposite than intended, especially as Tehran will now only push harder for a nuke, and allied countries might now simply be willing to supply them to the Iranians, he described.

The whole operation took several months, it added. The agency said it had used 1,100 kilograms of explosives which “severely damaged” the underwater pillars supporting the bridge.

ISRAEL says some of Iran's highly-enriched near weapons-grade uranium stockpile survived US bombings during the 12-Day War last month. Doubts remained about whether Iran quietly removed 408.6 kgs of uranium from its most sensitive sites before the strikes - potentially hiding nuclear material elsewhere in the country. The uranium in question is enriched to 60 per cent - way above levels for civilian usage but slightly below weapons-grade. That material, if further refined to 90 per cent, would theoretically be sufficient to produce more than nine nuclear bombs. An Israeli official told The New York Times some of the uranium stockpile survived the US and Israeli bombings last month
