This is gonna be fun to watch. Ed wrote a great piece this morning about the "reviews" of Karine Jean-Pierre's book, which is currently vaporware. It's not the book that is the target of all this bile pouring forth, but Karine Jean-Pierre herself. After years of pent-up anger, the opportunity to strike out at her has attracted all comers. Ed's piece focused on the "external" reviews--Scott Jennings and Stephen A. Smith taking KJP apart. And they were hilarious. After all the "now it can be told" books basically ignored KJP's role in Biden Brain Boondoggle, the actual appearance of KJP has reminded people of why they hated her so much.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) threatened Friday that his state would stop tax payments to the federal government, after news reports suggested President Donald Trump was thinking of cutting funds to the state. As Breitbart News noted earlier in the day, reports emerged suggesting that the Trump White House was considering cutting federal funding to California due to its challenges to, and defiance of, federal policy.

Employers in the United States added 139,000 workers to their payrolls in May, the Department of Labor said Friday, and the unemployment rate was unchanged at 4.2 percent.
Economists had been expecting 125,000 jobs and an unemployment rate unchanged at 4.2 percent.
President Donald Trump’s program of shrinking the federal government is showing signs of progress. Employment in the federal government fell by 22,000 in May and is down 59,000 since January.
The private sector added 140,000 jobs, more than the 120,000 forecast.
Everybody has been laughing at CNN's skydive without a parachute, and we all had a chuckle when the ratings came out that showed that CNN's viewership is now about 1/6th that of Fox News.
After all, who would have predicted that the publicity push for Jake Tapper's "Original Sin" (apologies to Alex Thompson, who co-wrote the book and is an actual journalist, but nobody cares about non-celebrities anymore) wouldn't give CNN a bump or two in the ratings? Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed that Israel is arming clans in Gaza that he says are opposed to Hamas.
His comments came after Israeli media reports quoted defence sources as saying Netanyahu had authorised giving weapons to one particular group in the south of Gaza.
Several Israeli politicians have accused Netanyahu of endangering Israeli security.
"What's wrong with this?" Netanyahu says in a short video he's tweeted. "It only saves the lives of Israeli solders", he continues - "and publicising it only helps Hamas".

It's been a mixed year for Second Amendment advocates, but on Thursday, came a significant win from the Supreme Court on that front. The Court announced a decision in "Smith & Wesson Brands, Inc., Et Al. Petitioners v. Estados Unidos Mexicanos." In this case, Mexico in effect sued American gun manufacturers for the plague of violence that is sweeping Mexico. The Supreme Court, in its decision, noted that Mexico's case runs afoul of the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, or PLCA.
