Dr. Mehmet Oz, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) administrator, said his agency and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) have identified at least $14 billion in fraud, waste, and abuse. “There’s about $14 billion we’ve identified with DOGE, of folks who are duly enrolled wrongly in multiple states for Medicaid,” Oz told Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures.” As an example, Oz said: “You live in New Jersey, but you move to Pennsylvania, and which state gets your Medicaid? Turns out both states collect money from the federal government.”

A 53-year-old man was detained Monday after he allegedly drove a vehicle into a crowd at the Liverpool Football Club trophy parade in Liverpool, England, injuring over two dozen people. Police were called to the scene in the city center, more than 200 miles northwest of London, at about 1 p.m. ET (6 p.m. local time) following reports of a car colliding with "a number of pedestrians," the Merseyside Police initially said on social media. A 53-year-old White British man from the Liverpool area was arrested shortly after the incident, according to Assistant Chief Constable Jennifer Sims.

Protesters were recorded pounding on the windows of the Tennessee State Capitol by U.S. Representative Andy Ogles (R-TN-05) on Monday as he held a “Stop the Invasion” press conference inside, where he was joined by various Tennessee lawmakers who expressed support for the efforts by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to remove illegal immigrants from the Volunteer State. Ogles held the press conference after his requests for congressional probes into Mayor Freddie O’Connell over the city’s response to the recent ICE immigration enforcement operation in Nashville, which saw nearly 200 arrests. Ninety-five of these individuals had previous and pending criminal charges.

Former New York Democrat Congressman Charles Rangel has passed away. He was 94. Rangel served 23 terms in Congress. He was elected to Congress in 1970 and retired in 2017. “A towering figure in American politics and a champion for justice, equity, and opportunity, Congressman Rangel dedicated over four decades of his life to public service,” the Rangel family said in a statement. NYC Mayor Eric Adams released a statement on Rangel’s death. “I am so sad to lose a dear friend and exemplary model of devotion and courage. My prayers are with his family, Harlem, and all who knew him,” Adams said.

While representing a red district in a blue state, the congresswoman who refers to herself as “MGP” is somewhat of an anomaly. She speaks about building coalitions rather than falling behind party lines.

Kamala Harris has been pretty scarce since she got wiped out in the November election. But for some reason, she spoke at a real estate conference in Australia over the weekend. Frankly, I don't know why anyone interested in real estate would want to hear from her. However, she was interviewed for an hour by real estate industry veteran John McGrath. Now you know how tipped the scales were in such an interview when he referred to her as “one of the most successful women in history” with “her best work ahead of her,” according to The Guardian. Can I laugh now? Don't you mean the most unsuccessful woman in history?

A video surfaced on X over the weekend of the "60 Minutes" anchor's May 19 speech to the graduating class of 2025 at Wake Forest University in North Carolina, in which he makes a series of insane claims about the state of America now under Trump. During Pelley's entire rant, he avoids actually naming the president. "But in this moment, this morning, our sacred rule of law is under attack," Pelley said with no example as to what he was talking about.

Republicans and Democrats don’t use PR the same way. If you’re a Republican, your relationship with the mainstream media is almost always adversarial. They’re an obstacle that must be carefully circumvented — or directly bulldozed — but no conservative since John McCain views ‘em as an ally. At best, they’re a useful foil. At worst? They’re your biggest frickin’ headache. The comments indicate that Trump's position on the Kremlin is hardening as his attempt to broker an end to the Russian war falters with no breakthrough in sight. The post came after Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine over the weekend, lobbing drones and missiles at 30 cities and villages and killing at least 12 people, including three children.

The first pictures have emerged of a North Korean warship seemingly covered in tarpaulin after it capsized and sank in front of dictator Kim Jong Un. Satellite images appear to show the naval destroyer languishing on its side alongside the dock where a launch ceremony had been held. But the launch failed, and analysis of pictures taken on Thursday suggest the ship is now partially submerged and covered with bright blue tarpaulins in an apparent attempt to conceal the wreckage. State media said the the 5,000-ton ship, which had been due to enter service next year, is designed to carry weapons systems including nuclear-capable ballistic and cruise missiles.
