President Donald Trump this week took important steps to advance his “Golden Dome” missile-defense system — and not a moment too soon. For years, administrations of both parties have failed to devote sufficient resources to missile defense, even as China and Russia have sprinted to develop new ways to threaten the American homeland. Our margin of safety has badly eroded in the face of these adversaries’ “ballistic, hypersonic, and cruise missiles capable of striking the homeland with either conventional or nuclear warheads,” as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Tuesday. Was fighting WW II cheap? Was there an alternative? In a project of this size there are bound to be errors, waste, miscues as there were in the development of the Bomb. Just keep them to a minimum possible and full speed ahead. It will take the US to a territory where our adversaries cannot follow us.

We are probably going to probably let the Iranians get their nukes, just like there was no peaceful way to stop the insane Norks. That requires protection.....to say nothing of the nutcases in China and Russia.

The Golden Dome, like Reagan's "Star Wars" plan, does not protect against nuclear weapons being shipped in containers into our vulnerable harbors and ports near our largest, most populous cities. China and Russia seem likely to still be deterred by the old Cold War notion of MAD but not suicide tolerant Iran. Allowing Iran to acquire nuclear weapons yields a risk that cannot be mitigated by space-based weapons. I'm sure the Mullahs are celebrating the news, that the US has signaled its inclination to bankrupt itself than engage militarily against the World's leading purveyor of Islamic terrorism, a country that is nearing 50 years of calling for death to America and Israel.

The only true defense would be a force field that increases in strength with the force of impact.

On Thursday’s “Alex Marlow Show,” Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) talked about wasteful spending on government credit cards. Ernst said, “[T]he federal government, through GSA credit cards, has 4.6 million active credit cards and accounts…we have a little less than half that number in federal employees.” She added that “a lot” of card usage occurs during federal holidays and on days like New Year’s Eve at “nightclubs, bars” and on “Sunday afternoons, okay, a big UFC fight or something pay-per-view.” And there are also cash withdrawals at casino ATMs. Ernst further stated that about 500,000 cards have now been canceled.

In a speech in Abu Dhabi this week, President Donald Trump praised the Middle East’s transformation as an achievement of its own people, not the result of foreign intervention. He celebrated a new generation of regional leaders who are moving beyond old conflicts and choosing prosperity over chaos. Trump emphasized that the progress in places like Riyadh and Abu Dhabi wasn’t built by Western elites, neocons, or left-wing nonprofits, but by locals charting their own path. He condemned past U.S. efforts at nation-building, arguing that they often caused more harm than good by meddling in cultures they didn’t understand.

Students on their way to classes in Queens may no longer have to run a gauntlet of prostitutes after authorities shut down a busy brothel in New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D) district – part of a neighborhood blight persistently ignored by the congresswoman, neighborhood advocates say. The brothel, called the “bodega brothel” by locals, was operating on the second floor of a local convenience store just off Roosevelt Avenue. That particular stretch is known for prostitutes openly soliciting on sidewalks, say local leaders.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) touted President Trump’s efforts to thaw tensions with the new government in Syria, describing the move as strategically savvy, though risky. “When the Crown Prince [of Saudi Arabia] and the president of Turkey both asked him [Trump] to give Syria, the new Syrian government, a chance, he intuitively just said, ‘Sure,’” Gingrich told hosts John Catsimatidis & Rita Cosby on the “Cats & Cosby Show” on Wednesday.Gingrich, the longtime Republican leader, noted that other presidential teams would have taken months to arrive at the same conclusion, bringing in “so-called experts” to advise the commander-in-chief to be careful, while arriving at the same conclusion.

Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. testified during back-to-back hearings in the House and Senate on Wednesday for the first time since his confirmation. Kennedy faced questions on vaccines, canceled medical research and his drastic overhaul of the federal health agency during the hearings about President Trump’s budget request, which could lead to even greater cuts. Here are some key takeaways:

As the Washington DC U.S. Attorney, Ed Martin was in position to address the known and documented activity of a variety of former DOJ officials. There’s a strong argument to be made that’s the reason why the DOJ’s corrupt allies in congress moved to eliminate the threat Martin represented. However, their collective result didn’t remove him, nor did it change the objective, it just changed Mr Martin’s title. Washington DC USAO Ed Martin carried the authority of the Attorney General, in the changed dynamic special appointee ADAG Ed Martin now carries the authority of the President of the United States to investigate a weaponized DOJ/FBI apparatus. It became a serendipitous outcome.

President Trump meets with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani in Doha, Qatar. For many deep weed researchers and geopolitical followers, Qatar remains an ¹enigma. However, notice the linguistics, the English-speaking pattern of Emir al Thani. This is a man who speaks fluent ‘American’, spends a great deal of time around Americans and is completely comfortable expressing the speech patterns of his familiarity. Qatar is the bank for the Muslim Brotherhood. Qatar funds Al Jazeera. The leaders of Hamas all lived in Qatar When the five Islamic leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood were exiled from Egypt, they fled to Qatar for safe haven.

Earlier this month, Hunter Biden dropped his lawsuit against two IRS whistleblowers who alleged there had been a cover-up in former President Biden’s DOJ to block a tax fraud investigation into the former President’s son. However, the financial sector controversies Hunter has incited, particularly with his business dealings in China, remain an ongoing topic of interest and allegedly extend far deeper than tax fraud. For example, Breitbart News has learned that PAX Global Technology Limited., a Chinese technology company under federal investigation for suspicious data transmissions and potential cyberattacks, is linked through ownership structures to Che Feng — a Chinese financier closely tied to Hunter Biden.

university report published last month shows that more than half of those who identify as being left of center on the political spectrum believe assassinating President Donald Trump would be justified. This didn’t come about organically. It’s the product of a vicious campaign waged by the Democratic Party-mainstream media axis. According to a Rutgers Social Perception Lab-Network Contagion Research Institute brief, 55.2% of Americans on the left “reported that if someone murdered Donald Trump, they would be at least somewhat justified.” Overall, 38.5% hold the same belief. Trump, who has survived a pair of assassination attempts (one of which was celebrated), is not the only legitimate target, say many Americans.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, who represented Donald Trump during his 2024 criminal trial, has been appointed acting librarian of Congress, the Justice Department said Monday. Blanche replaces longtime librarian Carla Hayden, whom the White House fired last week amid criticism from conservatives that she was advancing a “woke” agenda. The Associated Press obtained an internal memo from Robert Randolph Newlen, who had been serving as acting librarian, saying that Congress was “engaged” with the White House about Blanche’s appointment and that the library had not yet “received direction from Congress about how to move forward.”

Now replace those toddlers with embittered semi-celebrities clinging to cultural relevance, amplify their egos with national airtime, and broadcast it five days a week. That’s The View. What once was pitched as a platform for intelligent dialogue has morphed into a bitter cocktail of rage, identity politics, and intellectual laziness. Once known for its various voices, The View has devolved into a soapbox for those who believe their outrage is a virtue.

It never occurred to me, but I oppose violence of any kind, so I took the post down.” What a deranged idiot! Many pro-Israel people I know, both Jewish and non-Jewish, are deeply worried about Trump’s current Middle East positions. He’s marginalizing Israel in negotiations with Saudi Arabia, accepting on the government’s behalf a luxury plane from double-dealing Qatar, and handing money to the goons in Syria. At the same time, he’s seemingly freezing out Israel, to the great consternation of Israel and its supporters. So, what gives? Having read Charles Lipson’s superb analysis of the problems in dealing with an almost nuclear Iran, and how Biden created this monster, I suspect that “what gives” may be Trump trying an out-of-the-box approach to isolating Iran long enough for his economic policies

During a blistering Senate Appropriations Committee hearing, Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) was visibly floored after Energy Secretary Christopher Wright dropped a bombshell: the Department of Energy handed out a staggering $93 billion in loans and commitments during the final 76 days of the Biden administration, a figure that more than doubled the loan total from the previous 15 years combined. Kennedy, in classic fashion, drilled in with precision. “The 76-day period you’re talking about, that’s the period between the time that President Trump was elected and President Biden left office. Is that right?” “That is correct,” Wright confirmed. Kennedy didn’t mince words

WASHINGTON — A federal judge on Friday blocked the Trump administration from cutting off Harvard’s enrollment of foreign students, an action the Ivy League school decried as unconstitutional retaliation for defying the White House’s political demands. In its lawsuit filed earlier Friday in federal court in Boston, Harvard said the government’s action violates the First Amendment and will have an “immediate and devastating effect for Harvard and more than 7,000 visa holders.” “With the stroke of a pen, the government has sought to erase a quarter of Harvard’s student body, international students who contribute significantly to the University and its mission,” Harvard said in its suit. “Without
