The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Thursday revoked Harvard University’s ability to enroll foreign students, prompting the school to immediately file a lawsuit on Friday. Within just hours, like clockwork, a far-left district judge blocked DHS’s action.
U.S. District Court Judge Allison D. Burroughs, an appointee of former President Barack Obama serving in Massachusetts, wrote in a two-page motion granting a temporary restraining order that Harvard “will sustain immediate and irreparable injury before there is an opportunity to hear from all parties.”

Ain't it amazing - - how fast these leftist "judges" can act?
Any other legal action takes months - - even years - - to be heard. But any demonrat or leftist lawyer complaint gets heard - - and acted on - - instantly.
It took the leftists six years to figure out that Despicable Joe was demented - - but only six minutes to get injunctions through their favorite courts.

And we know Chief Just-Us Roberts is smiling at the entity he has created. Soon, very soon, Roberts will be head of the Judicial and Executive branch.

Irreverable damage is what Harvard is supposed to feel since they are staunch anti-semites and a refusing to back down in the face of reality. Too damn bad!
Boo hoo hoo

No problem. Just refuse to give them visas before they even get here.

Wonder how many foreign students were enrolled in Harvard when Thoreau was a student there. A person I know graduated from Harvard (physics no politics) went back for a sentimental visit and left after a few hours when he couldn't find a parking place.

This isn’t a few rogue judges. This is a judicial coup and they are purposefully usurping the power of the Executive Branch with illegal rulings. It needs to be reined in and if the SC isn’t going to do it Congress needs to act. Their constituents need to start putting on a lot of pressure. Flood them with letters and emails. Threaten their re-election. It’s all they care about.

I don't think the government should be allowed to forbid a school from taking any foreign students. Of course, that would mean the government should be allowed to expel foreign students who do not behave as guests. Dem judges have stopped the expel part so for now, let Trump stop the problem before it starts.

Judge violates national security. Jail them in a deep, dark hole, then investigate everything about them. Find out their financial backers and jail them, for bribery and corruption of a government official.

Foreign students, if they are not permanent resident aliens in the USA, are aliens who have either been issued usually “F” or “J” non-immigrant visas to study at schools in the USA. When admitted to the USA using “F” or “J” non-immigrant visas are admitted for a temporary time certain and must depart the USA before that date unless they are granted an extension of that time. In addition to that, those foreign students are subject to the terms of admission that all non-immigrants must abide, that include not participating in anti-USA activities like publicly advocating and taking part in demonstrations that are contrary to US foreign policy interests as determined by the Secretary of State, the consequences of which include being told to depart the USA or become a respondent in removal (deportation) proceedings.

That's easy to fix. Don't issue student visas to foreign students to attend Harvard.
