WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Thursday granted a Trump administration request that allows the president to fire members of independent federal agencies while suggesting that its legal reasoning would not apply to the Federal Reserve. The move to pause a lower court ruling formalizes a temporary decision along similar lines on April 9 that allowed President Donald Trump to fire Gwynne Wilcox, a member of the National Labor Relations Board, and Cathy Harris, a member of the Merit Systems Protection Board. "The stay reflects our judgment that the government is likely to show that both the NLRB and MSPB exercise considerable executive power,"

When there are no conservatives on the staff at the Federal Reserve, there has to be questions. And conclusions. One conclusion being that this could be why the Federal Reserve's policies are often so wrong, as they all agree with each other.

So where within our Three, Co-Equal Branches of Government does the Federal Reserve actually reside, Supreme Court? Congress cannot create an "independent agency" without a home in one of those three branches. The Supreme Court's argument/justification was incredibly weak, and entirely un-Constitutional.

The Federal reserve is the mechanism that Congress has used to put the US $36,885,204,000 (as of 5/23/25) in debt. Shouldn't US citizens, through the President, have some control over this monstrosity?

Fed is a convenient scapegoat and is not the real problem. It's Congress that cannot stop spending. Re: PDJT's criticism of Powell is reverse psychology. The more he criticizes, the more those with TDS will support him. Meanwhile Powell, Bessant and PDJT have upended the financial world by decoupling us from the City of London's bankers and LIBOR.

The Federal Reserve is unconstitutional. They are unelected officials, evidently responsible to no one and running rampant over our economy. Time to shut them down and form that task under the Treasury department.

More NBC BS. "The Supreme Court GRANTS"? Utter nonsense. The Supreme Court doesn't "grant" anything. The headline should read, " Supreme Court AFFIRMS" President's Constitutional authority. " The leftists would like us to believe the COURTS are the source of government authority. They are not.

WASHINGTON — A federal judge on Friday blocked the Trump administration from cutting off Harvard’s enrollment of foreign students, an action the Ivy League school decried as unconstitutional retaliation for defying the White House’s political demands. In its lawsuit filed earlier Friday in federal court in Boston, Harvard said the government’s action violates the First Amendment and will have an “immediate and devastating effect for Harvard and more than 7,000 visa holders.” “With the stroke of a pen, the government has sought to erase a quarter of Harvard’s student body, international students who contribute significantly to the University and its mission,” Harvard said in its suit. “Without

The Trump administration alleged Thursday that Columbia University violated federal civil rights law by acting with “deliberate indifference” towards harassment of Jewish students on campus since October 2023. The US Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights accused Columbia of violating Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color and national origin in programs and activities that receive federal funding. The announcement is part of a series of actions by the federal government’s Joint Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism, which was created following a February executive order from President Donald Trump.

The Supreme Court split evenly Thursday in a high-profile challenge over the nation’s first religious charter school, leaving in place a ruling from Oklahoma’s top court that found the proposed Catholic school unconstitutional. The 4-4 split was made possible because conservative Justice Amy Coney Barrett recused herself from the case. Though she did not explain her decision, the former University of Notre Dame law professor had multiple ties to the attorneys representing the St. Isidore of Seville Catholic Virtual School. Religious groups had won a series of opinions from the conservative majority in recent years allowing public funding to be spent on religious education and programming.

Omar Sultan Haque, M.D., Ph.D., a Harvard researcher, penned a cri de cœur on his Substack arguing that Harvard has betrayed its very reason for being: the search for truth.
