"He did it for Palestine." Exactly how is "Palestine" helped by the murders? Does he think his despicable actions will be the golden bullet to fix the Middle East problems? Is he just stupid or is he demented?

How does this help Palestine? Watch what happens to Rodriguez as he faces the courts. Either Palestinian terrorists will benefit from a U.S. that is morally adrift or the killer will get a speedy trial and perfunctory execution. If not the latter, practitioners of Jew hatred and other moral atrocities will be emboldened to do more evil as good people are abandoned.

There can be little reasonable doubt about guilt here. He should have his due process and then assume room temperature as quickly as possible - months not years. Justice delayed is justice denied.

WASHINGTON — A federal judge on Friday blocked the Trump administration from cutting off Harvard’s enrollment of foreign students, an action the Ivy League school decried as unconstitutional retaliation for defying the White House’s political demands. In its lawsuit filed earlier Friday in federal court in Boston, Harvard said the government’s action violates the First Amendment and will have an “immediate and devastating effect for Harvard and more than 7,000 visa holders.” “With the stroke of a pen, the government has sought to erase a quarter of Harvard’s student body, international students who contribute significantly to the University and its mission,” Harvard said in its suit. “Without

The Trump administration alleged Thursday that Columbia University violated federal civil rights law by acting with “deliberate indifference” towards harassment of Jewish students on campus since October 2023. The US Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights accused Columbia of violating Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color and national origin in programs and activities that receive federal funding. The announcement is part of a series of actions by the federal government’s Joint Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism, which was created following a February executive order from President Donald Trump.

Thursday night by a crazed antisemite. As we’ve reported, Elias Rodriguez flew in from his hometown of Chicago, ambushed Israeli Embassy staffers Yaron Lischinsky (30) and Sarah Lynn Milgrim (26), and fired 21 rounds even as Milgrim tried to crawl away in terror. The two were reportedly set to get engaged next week. It’s an almost unimaginable crime. On Thursday, Pirro announced that Rodriguez may pay the ultimate penalty

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Thursday granted a Trump administration request that allows the president to fire members of independent federal agencies while suggesting that its legal reasoning would not apply to the Federal Reserve. The move to pause a lower court ruling formalizes a temporary decision along similar lines on April 9 that allowed President Donald Trump to fire Gwynne Wilcox, a member of the National Labor Relations Board, and Cathy Harris, a member of the Merit Systems Protection Board. "The stay reflects our judgment that the government is likely to show that both the NLRB and MSPB exercise considerable executive power,"

The Supreme Court split evenly Thursday in a high-profile challenge over the nation’s first religious charter school, leaving in place a ruling from Oklahoma’s top court that found the proposed Catholic school unconstitutional. The 4-4 split was made possible because conservative Justice Amy Coney Barrett recused herself from the case. Though she did not explain her decision, the former University of Notre Dame law professor had multiple ties to the attorneys representing the St. Isidore of Seville Catholic Virtual School. Religious groups had won a series of opinions from the conservative majority in recent years allowing public funding to be spent on religious education and programming.

I have no idea how to comprehend this act of incompetence. Last Friday, severe storms rolled into St. Louis. A tornado touched down and struck the northern part of the city—and there were no warning sirens. The tornado alarm system was never activated. It wasn’t due to a computer glitch. It was human error: the emergency management director, Sarah Russell, essentially forgot to turn it on, but it gets worse: the staff wasn’t even in the office. Russell contacted the fire department to initiate the system, but this was a shambolic failure

Martin is looking at Biden’s pardons, specifically the ones issued toward the end of his presidency. They might not be legal. It comes off allegations that Biden aides might have illegally used the autopen. President Trump has asked who was behind the autopen since it’s become clear that Joe Biden was not mentally cogent enough to know what was going on (via The Hill):

The real nakba [catastrophe, for Palestinians] was that they started a war and lost it. Well, if you start a war, that is what can happen. The Trump administration should beware of countries where the mouth says one thing but the legs do the opposite. Believe the legs. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian reassures Americans that "We are not seeking war, we favor negotiation and dialogue." Meanwhile, Khamenei calls for the elimination of the "Zionist regime" and endorses "Death to America."
