The Justice Department is investigating former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo after a criminal referral from House Republicans over allegations that he lied to Congress about his handling of the Covid-19 pandemic and nursing home patients. The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C. is conducting the inquiry into Cuomo, according to several media reports. His spokesman, Rich Azzopardi, said they were not informed of any investigation taking place. “We have never been informed of any such matter, so why would someone leak it now?” he told the New York Times. “The answer is obvious:

His assignment from the deep state was to ramp up the covid death toll numbers to create fear nationwide, so the public would submit to their control. It was going too slow changing motorcycle wrecks and heart attacks to covid deaths, so he got a great idea.

Well...well...so Cuomo is finally gonna get called out for all the old folks...he killed with his careless ruling about covid....dying alone and unable to see their loved ones...facing death alone and being discarded in a hallway waiting to be picked up by the trash...and New Yorkers would even consider having him as their mayor?....I don't think so...so then...who's pushing his name for mayor...if WE knew that...then WE would know who controls New York.....

The Trump administration on Thursday revoked Harvard University’s ability to enroll international students due to “pro-terrorist conduct” at campus protests. The Department of Homeland Security notified the university about its decision amid a fight over Harvard’s behavioral records of student visa holders. The administration has requested that the university turn over the records, while Harvard has failed to comply. “This administration is holding Harvard accountable for fostering violence, antisemitism, and coordinating with the Chinese Communist Party on its campus,”

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Thursday granted a Trump administration request that allows the president to fire members of independent federal agencies while suggesting that its legal reasoning would not apply to the Federal Reserve. The move to pause a lower court ruling formalizes a temporary decision along similar lines on April 9 that allowed President Donald Trump to fire Gwynne Wilcox, a member of the National Labor Relations Board, and Cathy Harris, a member of the Merit Systems Protection Board. "The stay reflects our judgment that the government is likely to show that both the NLRB and MSPB exercise considerable executive power,"

The Supreme Court split evenly Thursday in a high-profile challenge over the nation’s first religious charter school, leaving in place a ruling from Oklahoma’s top court that found the proposed Catholic school unconstitutional. The 4-4 split was made possible because conservative Justice Amy Coney Barrett recused herself from the case. Though she did not explain her decision, the former University of Notre Dame law professor had multiple ties to the attorneys representing the St. Isidore of Seville Catholic Virtual School. Religious groups had won a series of opinions from the conservative majority in recent years allowing public funding to be spent on religious education and programming.

WASHINGTON – A federal judge on Thursday temporarily reinstated hundreds of Education Department workers laid off by the Trump administration and blocked the president's executive order attempting to dismantle the decades-old agency. District Court Judge Myong J. House Republicans passed their sweeping “big, beautiful” bill early Thursday morning, overcoming opposition from several factions within the caucus and taking a major step toward delivering President Trump’s domestic agenda. The bill passed 215 to 214, largely along party lines. Republican Representatives Thomas Massie of Kentucky and Warren Davidson of Ohio joined a united Democratic caucus in voting against the legislation. Republican Representative Andy Harris, chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, voted “present.” The bill would extend the 2017 tax cuts, introduce new tax cuts such as Trump’s signature “no tax on tips”

That is what several Harvard professors and researchers who have watched a once-great institution become what it is today--practically totalitarian. Omar Sultan Haque, M.D., Ph.D., a Harvard researcher, penned a cri de cœur on his Substack arguing that Harvard has betrayed its very reason for being: the search for truth.

In March, President Donald Trump announced a full halt to U.S. foreign aid to South Africa, citing the government’s racially charged abuse of white Afrikaner farmers. He blasted the regime for orchestrated land seizures and escalating violence, calling the country “a bad place to be right now.” At the same time, he offered a fast track to U.S. citizenship for South African farmers and their families seeking safety from persecution. The black-led South African government has flatly denied any campaign of anti-white violence, brushing off the attacks as fiction and painting any criticism as offensive. Several years ago, I was getting ready to travel to Austin, Texas, for a conference. Just out of curiosity, I looked into getting there by train. Amtrak was the only option, of course. My trip to Austin would take 36 hours, and the route was something like Atlanta to Washington to Chicago to Austin. It would also cost twice as much as flying. Needless to say, Amtrak was totally out as an option. Despite its impracticality and expense, the left loves to romanticize train travel. I think much of it because left-wing media types all live in the Acela corridor, where passenger rail infrastructure is plentiful.

Rubio said previously at USAID, "only 12 cents of every dollar was reaching the recipient." "China doesn’t do humanitarian aid. China does predatory lending."
