Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita, R-Ind., launched an investigation into the University of Notre Dame on Thursday, citing potential civil rights violations stemming from its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) regime. Citing publicly available documentation, as well as the school’s 2023 Strategic Framework, Rokita sent a letter to Rev. Robert A. Dowd, Notre Dame’s president, suggesting the school might be violating state and federal civil rights laws because it “may be governed by University policies that treat individuals — including students, prospective students, faculty, staff, and job applicants — differently based on the individuals’ race or ethnicity; employ race in a negative manner; or utilize racial stereotyping,” according to the letter.

The DeSoto County District Attorney’s Office has announced that an illegal alien, Jiver Alejandro Melo Dominguez, of Mexico has been indicted by a DeSoto County Grand Jury for attempted murder. Dominguez, age 19, was indicted by a grand jury on Thursday, May 16. “This is yet another troubling example of wide-open border policies,” said District Attorney Matthew Barton. “This criminal should never have been here. But don’t worry — we’re going to secure a swift conviction and immediately turn him over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, where I hope Secretary Kristi Noem and Tom Homan can make room for him in El Salvador Prison.”

The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency has now accounted for U.S. Army Pvt. Roman Cherubini, a 22-year-old twin and World War II soldier from Bridgeton. Cherubini was serving with the 475th Infantry Regiment in the China-India-Burma Theater when he was killed. His remains were said to have been buried in at least eight different locations, including the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii. One person was killed Saturday after a bomb exploded outside a fertility clinic in Palm Springs, California, in what local officials called an “intentional act.” The blast may have come from a car parked outside American Reproductive Centers, Mayor Ron DeHarte told The Post. “The blast appears to be an intentional act of violence,” Palm Springs Fire Chief Paul Alvarado said in a statement. “The blast field extends for blocks with several buildings damaged, some severely.” The identity of the victim was unknown, Alvarado added. A supercell band of tornadoes cut a path of destruction through the Ohio Valley late Friday, leaving at least 21 people dead in Kentucky and Missouri, authorities reported Saturday. The Polk County Florida) Sheriff's Office conducted a nine-day, undercover investigation termed Operation "Fool Around and Find Out." The operation is focused on human trafficking and prostitution arrests. They nabbed 255 suspects, including 36 illegal aliens. Polk County worked with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Homeland Security (DHS) Investigations, and multiple other local police departments. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said during the press conference on Friday that about 15 percent of the total number of people arrested were in the country illegally. He detailed that among the places they came from were Venezuela, Cuba, Honduras, Mexico, Haiti, Colombia, and Guatemala.

He posted on Instagram a photo of shells on the beach arranged in the numbers “86 47,” the last two numbers being a little separate and bigger than the first two so as to differentiate them. His accompanying comment was: “Cool shell formation on my beach walk.” In case you were born yesterday, the number “86” is slang for terminating a person or thing. If a gangster talks about “86’ing” you, you’re toast. The number “47” of course corresponds to President Trump as the 47th President.

Iran appears to be using diplomacy to stall, deceive and advance its nuclear capabilities behind closed doors, while securing financial and geopolitical concessions from the West. The disturbing part is not that Iran's mullahs are following their usual tactics. The horror is that American officials and Western leaders appear to be falling for this shell-game all over again. The problem with enriching hostile regimes to "buy quiet" is that this is the money they use to build nuclear weapons with which to attack us. An additional problem, unfortunately, is that the Iranian regime has a well-documented history of lying.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Friday that it had launched “Operation Gideon’s Chariots,” aimed at clearing out the remaining Hamas terrorists, tunnels, and weapons from Gaza — inch by inch. Earlier this month, as Breitbart News reported, Israel called up its reserves and began preparing the operation, warning Hamas that it would launch Gideon’s Chariots if all hostages were not freed by the conclusion of U.S. President Donald Trump’s visit to the region. For 10 long years, they’ve done everything they could to spear the great monster of the Republic — the dreaded leviathan who is “dismantling our democracy.”
