Yesterday, James Comey caused quite the stir when he went on Instagram and posted a picture of a shell formation on the beach — obviously one he made — that spelled out “86 47,” which many interpreted as a threat on President Trump’s life.[snip] However, it gets worse than that for Comey. After posting the offending shell photo, the very next post on Instagram was him posting the favorable Publisher’s Weekly review of his third crime novel, out next week. What’s it about, you ask?

Jeff Bezos’ Washington Post is commiserating with wealthy restaurant owners who are trying to shield their lower-wage, illegal migrant workers from President Donald Trump’s crackdown on legal migration.
“Owners or operators of four restaurants confirmed to the Washington Post that they had lost employees, whether permanently or temporarily, since DHS agents visited last week,” the newspaper reported.
“If they want to go by the [law] book, there is not many restaurants left in D.C.,” said Luis Reyes, a former illegal migrant from El Salvador who is now the co-owner of a restaurant visited by ICE. He added:

It’s something out of the movie Airplane, but that’s the Biden administration—an epic display of either government incompetence or indifference. This crew didn’t care that Kabul was going to fall to the Taliban, leading to the shambolic exit from the country and, finally, the detached and gross reaction to the 13 American soldiers who were killed during the Abbey Gate terror attack. To this day, I don’t think a senior member of the Biden administration has called the families of these victims. Biden's reputation as Mr. Empathy took an irreparable blow.

If there was such a thing as shame anymore, the Washington Post’s pompous “Fact Checker” column would close up shop.
New revelations in “Original Sin,” a book about President Joe Biden’s decline, show how the White House covered up the obvious — and propaganda outlets like the Fact Checker shamed any media that broke ranks.
Take Biden’s wandering off from a group of world leaders at last June’s D-Day celebrations: The New York Post’s front page read “MEANDER IN CHIEF,” which sent Fact Checker writer Glenn Kessler into a fit of apoplexy: “ ‘Cheapfake’ Biden videos enrapture right-wing media, but deeply mislead” was his headline.

A 15-year-old illegal immigrant who killed a Colorado drug rehab worker in a high-speed crash in a residential neighborhood was given a slap on the wrist by a Democratic prosecutor, endorsed by several prominent party members.
The juvenile Colombian national, who cannot be named due to state law, was sentenced to two years of probation and 100 hours of community service for the July 2024 death of Kaitlyn Weaver.
Arapahoe County District Attorney Amy Padden offered the teen the plea deal if he admitted guilt in the deadly crash, promised to attend school and not break any more laws, CBS News Colorado reported.

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin hinted Monday that he’s preparing to roll back one car feature that every driver “hates.”
“Start/stop technology: where your car dies at every red light so companies get a climate participation trophy,” Zeldin tweeted Monday in a post that has since racked up more than 8 million views.
“EPA approved it, and everyone hates it, so we’re fixing it.”
The feature kills internal combustion engines at red lights and has been touted by proponents for being able to conserve fuel and cut down on pollution.
Critics have questioned whether the feature can wear down the car’s battery or engine more quickly.

David Hogg, who emerged as a gun control advocate and political activist after he survived the horrible 2018 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Florida, has shaken up the Democrat party and caused intense navel-gazing and infighting among the ranks. You see, after the 25-year-old was voted in as vice chair of the Democratic National Committee, he continued to agitate and raise money for party candidates who were challenging Dem incumbents—in effect, going directly against the DNC’s core mission.
Now some want him gone, and on Monday night, they took action [snip] Hogg isn’t taking it well

When HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says that sugar is poison, you need to listen to what comes next. He’s challenging us to become better informed about the foods we eat and the impact diet has on our long-term health.
Sugar is not a poison, and neither are the many FDA-approved additives that are being targeted by popular influencers at the moment. The discussion is being driven by catchy slogans that side-step, rather than engage, science. After all, the landscape of social media isn’t built for nuanced science communication. Rather, it seems to be built for influencers selling products with their pseudo-science talking points.

This dad is one unhappy mouseketeer.
A father-of-three who went viral for his posts about how much Walt Disney World costs says the $1,400 he spent for one day was not worth it.
In TikTok that has been viewed by millions, Craig Stowell said a trip to the famed Orlando theme park with his wife and three kids blew up his wallet for only a modicum of enjoyment when faced with the never ending stream of lines at Disney.[snip]
The frustrated dad said he spent $974 for five single-day tickets, and that’s with the Florida resident discount. “It started with the ticket purchase,

Somewhere between 10 million and 12 million illegal aliens were invited into the United States by the Biden administration.
As far as logistics go, former President Joe Biden could not flee Afghanistan without getting 13 Marines killed and abandoning to the terrorist Taliban $50 billion in munitions, a billion-dollar embassy and a $300 million retrofitted huge airbase.
But Biden and his handlers proved far more logistically capable when their target was fellow Americans.
After all, they somehow managed to stop the congressionally approved continuance of the border wall, subvert federal immigration law, emasculate the border patrol and ensure that millions of people around the world could simply walk into the US illegally,

Police are calling for an official investigation and charges against a city councilwoman for allegedly assaulting officers and inciting a violent mob trying to stop the arrest of an illegal alien criminal suspect in Worcester, Massachusetts.
It is another in a slew of incidents where government officials have stepped in to try to block immigration enforcement as the Trump administration cracks down on aliens with criminal records in the U.S.
A local police union argued over the weekend that Etel Haxhiaj, who represents Worcester’s District 5, helped incite the mob into assaulting ICE officers and cops during the Department of Homeland Security operation that escalated out of control Friday.
