Three teenagers allegedly kidnapped a wealthy man at gunpoint and drove him to a remote Arizona desert to steal $4 million in cryptocurrency in a sinister plot. Austin Fletcher and Belal Ashraf, both 16 and from Pasco County, Florida, allegedly teamed up with a third, as-yet-unidentified teenager to target the victim, who has remained anonymous. Prosecutors said at Fletcher's probable cause hearing on Friday that the third teenager is no longer in the United States. It is not clear if authorities know where they are or if they plan to extradite them.

Yep. Posters 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 pretty much speak for me. And I will add that the first few years of their 20-year prison terms should be spent helping to re-condition the Alcatraz prison while wearing nothing but shorts, shirt, and flip flops. Start with replacing every toilet on the island. And they can rehab their own future prison cells. And no hourly wages and no way to communicate with the outside world.

Children??? They are not “children”, they are teen-age thugs. Kidnapping and extortion should warrant decades of jail time to reflect on their activities.

Scientists at CERN Turn Lead Into Gold 19 replies

Scientists at CERN have turned lead into gold during high-speed experiments at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), achieving a phenomenon once confined to ancient legend. The findings, published by the ALICE collaboration in Physical Review Journals, confirm that gold atoms can form under extreme conditions created during heavy-ion collisions at the LHC. While the transformation is temporary and cannot be harnessed for practical use, it marks a major scientific milestone. For centuries, alchemists have attempted to turn common metals into gold. This concept, once dismissed as pseudoscience, has now gained experimental footing.

The Catholic Church has issued a warning to its clergy in Washington state: Any priest who complies with a new law requiring the reporting of child abuse confessions to authorities will be excommunicated. The new law, which will take effect on July 27, eliminates the long-standing confidentiality of the confessional, forcing Catholic leaders and lawmakers into a highly charged standoff over religious liberty and child protection.
