Less than 48 hours after rolling out a fact-checking website designed to target "right-wing misinformation," California Governor Gavin Newsom was caught using stock footage from Ukraine and Estonia in an ad promoting his state's economy. The ad, released initially on X and set to run on “Fox and Friends” this weekend, criticizes President Donald Trump’s tariffs while touting California's supposed economic strength. An overly excited Newsom, however, shared it with his followers on X first. Viewers quickly pointed out that the ad, meant to show the greatness of the Golden State, contained stock footage from a pair of European countries.

Comments:

Newsom created a 'misleading' ad to counter Trump's successes.

Newsom's maneuvering to be the '28 democrat nominee. He's slimy. The sad thing is he'll probably get it and there will be no fact checking by news media. He'll fool democrats and come across as a reasonable central leftist. Republicans will or should know better.

#9 - No time left for a recall. Gavin is out next year, and can't run again due to term limits. Our recall effort was successful, except it was "wiped, like with a cloth" by the Dem controlled L.A. County "curing" votes. Geographically, California is a red state. Unfortunately, the population from the inland counties is overwhelmed by the Dim controlled coastal counties...especially Los Angeles and San Francisco. However, the conservative vote grows each election. I'm hoping Steve Garvey tries again and runs for Governor next year. He has state-wide name recognition, and he only lost the Senate seat to Pencil Neck by 12% - despite the cheating margin of the Dem Party. The Dems are sure to run Kamalala. That would be a great blessing as the recent election showed she even turns off their base! California will be Golden Again! MAGA!

Parents, do you know what your kids are doing online? If not, the answer may terrify you. Last month, the FBI issued a warning about the growing threat of violent online networks targeting minors. Lurking on gaming platforms, social media or self-help forums, members of these networks lavish attention on their targets. After the grooming comes the demands: that victims carve occult symbols or the names of their abusers onto their bodies (a practice known as “fansigning”). That they share sexually explicit videos or mutilate their pets on camera. That they livestream their own suicides. When victims disengage, they’re doxed and swatted, threatened with violence, blackmailed or extorted. Most victims are teens. Some are younger.

Wild viral footage has captured Frontier Airlines gate agents getting into a bust-up with a passenger who had sniped, “I’m never flying this sh—y airline again” after being hit with an unexpected $25 fee just to check in. The caught-on-camera saga erupted when the male passenger — a 45-year-old married father of three — was trying to check in for his Frontier flight from Raleigh, NC, to Boston last Friday after a week-long business trip. The passenger, who didn’t want to be identified, told The Post he’d arrived at the airport with roughly 50 minutes to spare but wasn’t able to check in on the electronic kiosk because,

Stephen Miller’s America First Legal (AFL) has filed a bombshell lawsuit against Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr., in his capacity as Presiding Officer of the Judicial Conference of the United States, and Robert J. Conrad, Director of the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts. The lawsuit accuses the powerful duo of running what AFL describes as an “unconstitutional shadow agency” and violating federal transparency laws. The lawsuit, filed on April 22, slams the Judicial Conference of the United States and its administrative arm—both overseen by Chief Justice Roberts—as rogue “executive agencies” that have collaborated with far-left lawmakers to wage lawfare against conservative Supreme Court justices.

When 2013 hit, it gained about 530,000 square miles of ice. Still, the con is on with the Green Left, who claims they were on the verge of total destruction. In the 1970s, global cooling and North American re-glaciation would imperil humanity. They were wrong then, and they’re wrong now. The Green Movement has been exposed as a backdoor communist push, spearheaded by the wealthy and the elites to screw over further working Americans via intentional economic sabotage.

Councilman Nick Howland, a Republican, recently made the bombshell accusation in an interview with Action News Jax, though the original allegation was reportedly made by a gun rights non-profit known as Florida Carry.[snip] “They were asked to document their first name, last name, contact information and the type of firearm they were carrying,” Howland said. “In those notebooks for two years, that info has been gathered. Florida is a no-registry state. So, that is a clear violation of state law.”

An Army Black Hawk helicopter caused two near-misses with airliners at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport last week — including passing as little as 200 feet from one jet — after the pilot took “the scenic route” to the Pentagon, according to authorities. The terrifying incident at one of America’s most crowded airports comes three months after the same kind of Army chopper from the same unit was involved in a mid-air collision with an American Airlines jet, killing 67 people. Officials and politicians were quick to blast the Army for the incident — with Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy calling it “unacceptable.”

The calls for violence are growing louder and louder by the day. The agitators are calling for the assassination of public figures and elected officials; they are calling for acts of insurrection by federal and local law enforcement. These are actions that would very likely prompt a second civil war, but the agitators have no thought of that, or, on the few occasions when they register that possibility, seem somehow to think that their side would win. The people making these calls for violence are, of course, all members of the "progressive" left. Jonathan Turley recently penned an interesting piece on those people.

The Catholic Church has issued a warning to its clergy in Washington state: Any priest who complies with a new law requiring the reporting of child abuse confessions to authorities will be excommunicated. The new law, which will take effect on July 27, eliminates the long-standing confidentiality of the confessional, forcing Catholic leaders and lawmakers into a highly charged standoff over religious liberty and child protection. However, the Archdiocese of Seattle and several bishops argue that the law not only contravenes church doctrine but crosses constitutional lines, while supporters maintain it is a crucial step to protect minors from abuse.
