We will have to see how he turns out. Frances elevating him to the Vatican makes me suspect he thinks like the Communist last pope. I hope that is not true, but we'll see.

From his prior postings, the new Pope is a politician, not a cleric. The Pope is not elected, but appointed by the corrupt. An autocracy the Democrats like to speak about.

As a born and raised Catholic and conservative, I'm looking forward to our new Pope, especially when he says things like: “The promotion of gender ideology is confusing, because it seeks to create genders that don’t exist,” he told reporters.

"There will never be an American pope" has been quoted for decades. But with Trump and Orban the only 2 leaders NOT on board with global Marxism, genocide, slavery and child exploitation I'm not surprised they picked an anti-Trump American. Subverting American freedom is their LAST remaining obstacle to totalitarianism.

An American Pope. It finally happened. But an article I read several weeks ago said that collections were way down here in America because a large number of Americans were not happy with some of the comments made by Pope Francis. They ranged from climate change, open borders, and any other woke agenda. An American Pope. Coincidence? Maybe. Political? Absolutely.

Pope Leo doesn't have to think the same as i do about everything. But it would be good if he just didn't sew chaos in the faithful. Or make pronouncements to media assassins at airports. Or unilaterally change the catechism. Or release documents that are so unclear and confusing his own bishops beg him to clarify, which he ignores. I never heard of the man and am wide open to him.

NYC attendance crisis proves the DOE and

If you don’t care whether children come to class, you don’t care if they learn at all — and that’s what New York City’s regular public-school system has come to. Public-school teacher Mike Dowd’s damning column in Friday’s Post confirmed our worst fears about the sad state of the system. A third of students in Department of Education schools, more than 300,000, are chronically absent — and uncounted others miss much of the school day. Teachers aren’t allowed to penalize kids for skipping class thanks to “reforms” made in the name of “equity” under Mayor Bill de Blasio that have continued under Mayor Eric Adams.

President Donald Trump is confronting the dragon behind the panda mask with precision. It’s very obvious the prior reconnaissance, trade probes and tariff tests of ’17, ’18, ’19, are paying dividends. President Trump has cut off the transnational shipping lanes by globalizing the tariffs against China. Beijing is in a forced holding pattern waiting to see the outcome of Southeast Asia and European trade agreements. Having spent some serious time in the field in advance of ‘Liberty Day’ all of my contacts have the same message; China is trying to find position.

It’s a sad day in America when the chief justice of the U.S. Supreme Court ignores the basic framework of the Constitution he’s supposed to interpret. That’s what happened on Wednesday, when Chief Justice John Roberts took it upon himself to subtly thumb his nose at President Trump and conservatives (snip) … the judiciary is a co-equal branch of government, separate from the others, with the authority to interpret the Constitution as law and strike down, obviously, acts of Congress or acts of the president. That innovation doesn’t work if … the judiciary’s not independent. Its job is to, obviously, decide cases, but in the course of that, check the excesses

Pope Leo XIV, the newly-elected leader of the Catholic Church, previously opposed the promotion of gender theory while serving as Bishop of Chiclayo in Peru. According to the New York Times, the Holy Father previously “opposed a government plan to add teachings on gender in schools.” “The promotion of gender ideology is confusing, because it seeks to create genders that don’t exist,” he told local news media at the time. The pope’s statements stand in line with his predecessor, Pope Francis, who repeatedly denounced gender ideology as an attack on children. In 2024, Pope Francis even referred to gender ideology as one of the ugliest ideologies of modern times, per the Vatican News.
