The Catholic Church’s new Pope has publicly described migration as a “huge problem” even as he also urges Christians to treat migrants with respect. “It’s a huge problem, and it’s a problem worldwide, not only in this country. There’s got to be a way both to solve the problem, but also treat people with respect,” then-Cardinal Robert Prevost preached in a Catholic Mass, according to an undated video:

There is a way to fix the problem, Pope. Stop letting illegals in and the ones that are there should be sent home. Problem solved.

This Pope is correct where his predecessor was wrong. 1) Find a way to control migration legally, and 2) Treat all with love and respect.

Try treating the citizens and the laws of other countries with respect. Stop taking money to assist illegal immigration. That would be a good start. Then, hold the political lectures. They are not wanted.

Two things.... First, the Pope would do well to re-read the entirety of the Catechism dealing with immigrants. "Social Justice" oriented Catholics tend to focus on the first few paragraphs and overlook the final word on the matter, which says that immigrants must obey all of the laws of the countries into which they seek refuge. Pope Francis never took this on directly, and I do not expect Leo XIV to be any different... because when the first thing such "refugees" do is cross the border illegally, they're law-breakers on entry to the country of refuge. Second: I would be very interested in hearing the results of an investigation that might connect any of this former Cardinal's activities in Peru to USAID or any other entity (NGO) involuntarily supported by US taxpayers. Follow the money...

This so-called mass migration is not spontaneous. This is part of the ‘Great Reset’ devised by bored, elitist, self-loathing, open-border types. These are planned and organized mass movements of people from 3d world areas to 1st world countries using proxy NGOs for executing the dirty work and funded ironically by taxpayers. DOGE revealed the depth and complexity of that scam at USAID.

Newly-Elected Pope Leo XIV Opposed Gender Theory 6 replies

Pope Leo XIV, the newly-elected leader of the Catholic Church, previously opposed the promotion of gender theory while serving as Bishop of Chiclayo in Peru. According to the New York Times, the Holy Father previously “opposed a government plan to add teachings on gender in schools.” “The promotion of gender ideology is confusing, because it seeks to create genders that don’t exist,” he told local news media at the time. The pope’s statements stand in line with his predecessor, Pope Francis, who repeatedly denounced gender ideology as an attack on children. In 2024, Pope Francis even referred to gender ideology as one of the ugliest ideologies of modern times, per the Vatican News.

On Monday President Donald Trump floated the idea that illegal aliens who voluntarily self-deport could be given a chance to come back legally, as though the only issue is mass illegal immigration. But this position represents a dangerous misdiagnosis of the real problem. It’s not that illegal immigration is a problem simply because it’s, well, illegal. Mass migration — whether legal or illegal — is national suicide. The sheer volume of foreign arrivals reshapes the country in ways no election can reverse and no bureaucratic process can fix. A nation isn’t just laws — a nation is its people, its culture, and its identity.
