Three weeks after inadvertently adding Atlantic reporter and long time Trump foe Jeffery Goldberg to a Signal group chat, National Security Advisor Michael Waltz and his deputy Alex Wong have reportedly been ousted from the administration. Others in the chat included Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Vice President JD Vance, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, CIA Director John Ratcliffe and more. (snip)President Donald Trump continues to stand by Secretary of Defense Hegseth and others who were in the discussion. Signal is a legal and approved way for government officials to communicate so long as the information shared is unclassified.

I wonder if Waltz was a little too chummy with reporter Goldberg.

Shades of Trump's first couple of years during his first term. Inside the beltway insiders make their way into the inner circle of Trump just to screw things up.

Now Waltz has been nominated to be UN ambassador. Rubio will pick up NSA in addition to being SoS.

Who reported they were ousted? Maybe folks should use more credible sources. Being appointed UN Ambassador is not being ousted.

In this segment of a remarkable interview by MeAgain Kelly, DNI Tulsi Gabbard discusses the current intelligence community research into the origin of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic (aka COVID-19). Gabbard talks about the U.S. government funding of ‘gain of function’ research which is a soft sounding phrase to describe the weaponization of biological agents. Gabbard notes the gain of function research taking place in the Wuhan lab, was coordinated and funded by the United States Government, and the Intelligence Community is close to making a direct link between the research and the release of the COVID-19 virus. Additionally, DNI Gabbard explains the concern of other biolabs around the world

A newly released survey by ResumeTemplates.com indicates that 75 percent of graduating college seniors have not yet secured employment, and 34 percent have not even started to apply for jobs. Of the latter group, almost 25 percent say they feel too overwhelmed to even begin the search. (snip) Julia Toothacre, ResumeTemplates chief career strategist, told The Epoch Times that she is not at all surprised by those findings. (snip)“A lot of college students are in a bubble and don’t even think about jobs until two weeks before graduation. Some of them are still trying to figure out exactly what they want to do.”

An Obama-appointed federal judge in California who issued a ruling blocking the Trump administration from cutting funding to sanctuary cities has deep financial ties to the Democratic Party, records indicate. The judge has also spoken at events in support of former Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Barack Obama and held leadership roles on committees to elect Obama and John Kerry. Judge William Orrick of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California issued a ruling on Thursday that said President Donald Trump’s executive orders against sanctuary cities are unconstitutional.

Will U.S. taxpayers ever see a dime repaid? Probably not, because the proceeds will likely end up in the pockets of the professional political class; however, the concept is a good idea in principle. It is more than likely Zelenskyy has sold his “minerals” to several countries in his perpetual tin cup tour. The ‘investment fund’ aspect is just another way to transfer proceeds into the bank accounts of U.S. Senators. The previously called “minerals deal” is now essentially a fund created between the USA and Ukraine where proceeds from exploiting Ukraine natural resources will be used to rebuild the country and repay the USA for prior financial support

Republican senators Rand Paul, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski all voted in support of removing President Trump’s ability to impose tariffs under national security grounds. However, the overall vote failed in the Senate 49-49. The vote was mostly symbolic for the upper chamber as the House previously approved a rule to block any effort to restrict President Trump’s trade authority, and the White House would obviously veto any bill that might pass. However, the vote does showcase the Republicans who are in support of multinational corporations outsourcing jobs and manufacturing. The bill was originally created by Republican Senator Rand Paul and Democrat Senator Ron Wyden.

Last week CTH noted, “interested political followers in the USA should pay close attention to how the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWA) respond to the corporate media narrative. … Will the International Longshoremen’s Association stand with Trump, or will they drop support as the global trade reset emphasizes domestically manufactured jobs? That will be an interesting aspect to watch because the dockworker union leadership will face massive pressure to comply with the anti-tariff narrative.” (full article) Yesterday, we got the answer: “The International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) unequivocally condemns the recent tariffs that the Trump administration has imposed.”

Almost immediately after his death was announced, the media was swarmed with responses from Hollywood stars and other celebrities expressing their sympathy for the passing of this ‘beloved’ pontiff. If you’re of a certain age, you remember how president Gerald Ford became the butt of national jokes for falling on a staircase. During a trip to Austria, Ford got to the bottom of the stairs exiting the airplane and tripped, falling down the last few steps.
