Man, it must be brutal being a Democrat right now, breathlessly waiting for the '28 presidential election so you can finally get Trump out of your head and get a good old progressive back in the Oval Office. The problem? The potential candidate list so far is laugh-out-loud pathetic, a sad list of mostly failed “leaders” who almost all carry mountains of political baggage around their necks. You’ve got to choose between the Queen of Emptiness and Word Salads, former Democrat presidential nominee and VP Kamala Harris, the walking meme that is NY Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the not ready for prime time Illinois governor,

Booty Gig carries 32% and is in the lead for the Democrat Presidential Candidate. How frigging sick is America that 32% of American Democrats want this fruit to be President. What has he ever done? He was a sorry Transportation Secretary who nursed an adopted child with fake plastic breasts. Come on people this is the best ya got?

Mayor Pete … what has he accomplished? He was a mayor of a college town in Indiana and a crap US Secretary of State. Who cares that he’s gay? He is unaccomplished. I suppose that’s what it takes to be a Dem candidate for president. BUT … he’d be better than the Governor of Illinois. If it moves, he wants to tax it — including Jello. And yet he himself is a tax evader.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: it's way too early for this schiff. A lot can happen between now and the end of of 2026 when the primary season really starts up. Buttguy is the current flavor of the moment as the Rats flounder about desperately and vainly try to counter Trump and MAGA, but it's guaranteed that they will go through at least 32 more before the campaign gets real. And it's guaranteed that Buttguy and his paper-thin resume won't be the nominee either.

I do not see the name of the eventual Dem nominee: Governor Moore of Maryland. He is Obama with a military record. It's just that Democrats like to nominate candidates with minimal exposure of their political career---Jimmy Carter, Clinton, Obama---so they can manufacture a narrative that will appeal to their uninformed base and all-too-easily-persuaded public

Dummycrats seem to vote in cycles... One cycle it's the uber box-checking minority (e.g. Obi-wan), and the next it's a pasty-white professoriat type (Hitlery and FJB). It's time for a box-checker again, and I don't think even a gay white male gets the job done -- he's still white, after all. No, my money's on Sen. Spartacus. #12, astute observation. Dems nominate a relatively unknown person and let their newsmedia allies create propaganda for them. If people are allowed to get too much true information about them, they wouldn't vote for the Dem Exhibit A is Kamala Harris. The more people saw who she really is, the less they liked her. That is also why the Dems hid Biden in 2020.

Ukrainian forces have wiped out dozens of Russian military aircraft, including nuclear bombers, in a massive drone attack on President Vladimir Putin’s air bases deep inside the country, Kyiv sources are claiming. The mission carried out by Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) using first-person-view (FPV) drones hit 41 Russian heavy bombers at four separate airfields thousands of miles from Ukraine, a security source told the Kyiv Independent on Sunday. The drones were reportedly smuggled into the country hidden in trucks. TU-95 “Bear” nuclear bombers, TU-22 “Backfire” fast-attack strike bombers and A-50 “Mainstay” command-and-control jets were among the aircraft that were destroyed in the strike, according to reports.

Americans may not have as many rituals as some other peoples do, but we have some. One of those is graduation, symbolizing the transition from one stage of life to another and a celebration of a young person’s accomplishments. (We may actually overdo these, as what was once a transition from college and high school studies is now often celebrated from even pre-nursery school.) Still, it plays a significant part of life, structuring time and change. Parents and grandparents who sat through boring recitals, sports events, prize days, supported kids dealing with difficult interpersonal issues,

Illinois’s Democrat governor, J.B. Pritzker, is about to sign a new bill into law that will allow illegal immigrants to become driving instructors. From Peoria’s NBC affiliate: A proposal that’s passed both chambers would allow some immigrants to become driving instructors in Illinois. In the state, non U.S. citizens can apply for a special drivers license called a Temporary Visitor Drivers License or TVDL. You might ask, “Where did that TVDL come from?” We’ve had a Democrat-controlled state legislature since 2003, and they currently have supermajorities in both chambers. Except for a single-term RINO governor in 2015–18, we’ve also had 100% Democrat governors since 2003.

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump’s “Liberation Day” collided with deliberation day in the courts, and it did not go well. The Court of International Trade ruled that the President lacks the authority to impose his massive tariffs worldwide. But all is not lost for Trump’s tariffs. The three-judge panel held that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977 (IEEPA) does not give the president “such unbounded authority.” While some have criticized the court as a “judicial coup,” it is a well-reasoned and good-faith decision from judges appointed by Presidents Ronald Reagan, Barack Obama, and Trump. While the court, in my view, should have issued a stay pending appeal,
