A Cornell University graduate student who had his visa revoked after pledging his allegiance to the "armed resistance in Palestine" has self-deported after a federal court twice rejected his request for a protection order. Momodou Taal, a Gambian and British dual national, announced Tuesday night that he "took the decision to leave the United States, free and with my head held high." His statement came hours after he dropped his lawsuit against the Trump administration, in which he claimed that the president’s executive order calling for the deportation of foreign Hamasniks had a "chilling" effect on his freedom of speech and had "deprived" other students

From the article: "Taal, a leader in Cornell’s pro-Hamas demonstrations who was barred from the campus before his self-deportation, has repeatedly advocated for the destruction of the United States and for terrorism against Israel." Where is your current location, be specific.

The Secret Service is facing serious accusations of negligence and security failures after a whistleblower came forward alleging that the agency ignored critical "insider-threat" complaints. The whistleblower is accusing the agency of hiring an applicant who failed the terrorism section of a polygraph test. Even more alarming, this individual is reportedly responsible for evaluating others’ security clearances. These revelations raise serious concerns about national security and the agency’s commitment to adequately vetting those entrusted with safeguarding the country— especially since the Secret Service is tasked with literally protecting the country’s highest officials.
The One Simple Trick That Could Lead Illegal
Immigrants To Self-Deport

President Donald Trump and his administration have thrown out the playbook on immigration. Between resurrecting an 18th-century law to deport violent criminals and running nationwide television commercials encouraging illegal immigrants to leave the country, the White House is employing anything and everything they can to remove illegals from the country, and strengthen the southern border. But experts say the Trump administration has another arrow in their quiver — one that’s not new, but still incredibly effective. E-Verify is a free service from the Department of Homeland Security that allows employers to check applicants’ employment authorization status. Until now, proponents of E-Verify have encouraged employers to use the service to ensure they don’t

Ron Klain, a longtime aide to former President Joe Biden known for his intense loyalty, is insisting he “never doubted” Biden’s mental fitness — as a new book describes Klain’s distress ahead of Biden’s dismal June 2024 debate against Donald Trump. In “Uncharted: How Trump Beat Biden, Harris, and the Odds in the Wildest Campaign in History,” author Chris Whipple writes that Klain viewed Biden, then 81, as “out of it” and even “half-seriously” worried that Biden thought he was “president of NATO.” “I never doubted the president’s mental acuity,” Klain told The Post Wednesday after a report on Whipple’s book was published by The Guardian.

A teenage Bloods gang member was nabbed Wednesday in a multi-agency raid in Newark that’s targeting three other alleged shooters — with newly minted Interim New Jersey US Attorney Alina Habba in tow. The Post witnessed the arrest of Zakiyy Houser, 18, a gangbanger with a history of weapons charges wanted for aggravated assault after an incident in which he allegedly shot two people. Twenty-two agents from the US Marshals, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and local law enforcement were joined by Habba — President Trump’s attorney who got a front-row seat to the action. “I can’t believe how many cases you guys are juggling … Unbelievable, unbelievable. The Senate confirmed former acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker as the U.S. ambassador to NATO. Whitaker’s approval ensures that a loyalist to President Donald Trump will serve as his de facto surrogate to the U.S.-led alliance while relations with its members are at a historic low. Whitaker will likely use his position to increase pressure on NATO allies to increase defense spending, something Trump has demanded since his first administration. His first major action as ambassador will be to attend a Brussels summit with Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Doug Emhoff, the husband of former Vice President Kamala Harris, is a partner at Willkie Farr & Gallagher.

Clearly, everybody in America wants violent criminals who are here illegally out of the country, end of discussion, full stop. So let’s do it according to our laws. It’s not that hard. Democrats have remained relatively quiet while President Donald Trump and Republicans hammer federal district judges for churning out nationwide orders halting his administration's actions. But during President Joe Biden's tenure, they decried similar wide-ranging injunctions and even sought to remedy the issue with legislation. In 2023, Sen. Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii, debuted a measure to give the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia sole jurisdiction over any cases with national implications. "When parties are able to choose their judges, it creates the perception that they are able to predetermine their case’s outcome, compromising the integrity of our federal justice system," she said in a statement at the time.
