Senator Calls Trump Authoritarian For
Targeting Elitist Institution’s Funding

Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Ed Markey claimed Tuesday President Donald Trump channeled “McCarthyism” by threatening to pull over $200 million in federal funds for Harvard University. The Trump administration is investigating the Ivy League school over its failure to address antisemitism on campus, particularly since the Oct. 7, 2023 attack by the radical Islamic terrorist group Hamas that killed over 1,200 people in Israel. Markey claimed the crackdown on antisemitism would “turn out very poorly” for the United States. [Video] “Look, anti-Semitism is wrong, anti-Semitism must be fought, anti-Semitism is something that we cannot tolerate in our nation,” Markey claimed. “But authoritarianism is not the answer to anti-Semitism.

Give Markey credit. He said McCarthy when he could have said Hitler. Maybe a 25 hour speech would help to elaborate, Ed. It worked so well for Cory Booker.

We need a new term to describe the actions of Congessional Democrats: thanks to them we are trillions of $$$ in debt, almost buried under a tsunami of illegal aliens, a shrunken economy thanks to Dems selling out the American people for a nice fat bribe, selling fear to minorities to get their vote only to ignore them for 4 years at a time. Ed baby, if you want to suck at the udder of the American taxpayers, you have to follow a few rules. One of them is you can't hate Jews to death anymore. Those days are over Ed, get with it. Haahhvadd, you too. In addition Eddie my boy, "Authoritarian" is to close the school and burn it to the ground, not restricting taxpayer funding to a school with billions in endowments and donations.

Nearly every one of those "elite" institutions can afford to not receive Federal funds. I put the word elite in parenthesis because they willingly lost that honor to be considered elite or prestigious. Today's Democrats seem to think it's just A-okay to hate against anyone they don't like or that does not think like they do. As far as authoritarian, one is quickly reminded of the DEMAND to take a shot or you could not leave your house, go to work, board an airplane, etc... Democrats pushed that and continued long after they KNEW it was not warranted any longer but the enjoyed the power that came from the authoritarian regimes they created under an emergency "executive" order.

Maybe some other hate group (Hamas is a hate group) should start protesting on some college campus and harass whatever race/religion students they dislike. They should also prevent other students from getting to their classes with out harassment and block fre access to campus for everyone. Maybe they could set up a tent city in the middle of campus as a whatever race/religion free zone and deny entry to anyone but the people that they allow in. And don't foret, no speaking to the media because they are the enemy. How would MSNBC, CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS, NY TImes, LA Times, Atlantic, and all ofthe other liberal media cover this? Surely not the positive lovefest that the pro-Palestine/Hamas protesters receive.

Joe McCarthy was RIGHT!! He correctly identified the Communist infiltrators that the Democrats were protecting. Red China happened with Democrat help! Soviet Russia was supported to make a bogeyman to justify Military appropriations for their Military Industrial Complex friends and allies. Senator Ted Kennedy sent lettwers the the USSR that were found when that political entity failed. McCarthy's problem was he didn't have allies to defend his back. He was CANCELED! The Democrats have decades of crimes to pay for!!

Harvard has been described as a world-class hedge fund attached to a substandard educational institution. I see no reason why the American taxpayer should subsidize such an "educational" institution. It's time for that hedge fund to liquidate some of its assets to keep its substandard school afloat. The taxpayers have had enough of it!

One of the dumbest members of the senate calling a Republican President authoritarian? I guess dead from the neck up Ed Markey has forgotten how authoritarian his president Biden was. Such as when he had the DOJ sic the FBI on parents who took issue with schools teaching their kids CRT nonsense. I say pull the taxpayer funding from Harvard and other leftist ideology indoctrination centers masquerading as institutions of higher learning.

A moderate Democrat is expressing cautious optimism at President Donald Trump's stance on tariffs in a stark departure from most of his party's infuriated reaction. Rep. Jared Golden, D-Maine, pointed out in a lengthy statement that he himself proposed a 10% blanket tariff on U.S. imports earlier this year and said he was happy Trump's baseline policy was the same – and even publicly pledged to work with Trump on enshrining it in federal law in a subsequent interview with Fox News Digital. "What I can say now is I’m pleased the president is building his tariff agenda on the foundation of a universal 10% tariff

In this age of rage, it is common for people to become the very thing that they despise in others, jettisoning their most cherished values to strike out at those they hate. Since the election, Democrats have shown that very self-destructive quality of rage in adopting anti-immigrant, anti-free speech, anti-labor, and even anti-environmental positions to get at Donald Trump or his supporters. It consumes every part of a person. It is addictive, and it is contagious. What these rage addicts will not admit, however, is that they like it; they need it. That was evident this week in New York,
