The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas is over as Israeli fighter jets began striking the Gaza Strip after Hamas refused repeated hostage deal offers, officials said. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) began striking Hamas terrorist targets across Gaza "in order to achieve the war objectives set by the political leadership, including the release of all our hostages—both the living and the fallen," the office of Defense Minister Israel Katz said in a letter. "This decision comes after Hamas repeatedly refused to release our hostages and rejected all proposals presented by U.S. President’s envoy, Steve Witkoff, as well as the mediators," the letter states.

Agree with above post. When your kitchen is infested with cockroaches, you have to make sure you get them _all_ or within a few months, you're overrun with roaches again.

Muslims are tolerant, peace-loving, reliable & trustworthy only when there is a sharp pointed knife pricking their belly button! And the threat of imminent disembowelment is real. This will be condemned as an Islamophobic (whatever that is) statement in today's day and age. But it is historically 100% accurate.

Israel is past ready to have lasting peace in the middle east. The only way to accomplish a lasting peace is the elimination of radical Islam. I believe Israel is ready to take care of that need. Thank you Israel.

Obviously all the blame is on those evil Jews, the felon Trump and the unelected foreigner billionaire. It can't possibly be the fault of the 100% evil terrorists who started this round of horrific violence for PR reasons, obviously jealous that Ukraine had taken their place in the news and funding cycles.

Play stupid games... It's highly doubtful that there are any hostages left that are in any condition to be returned to Israel other than in boxes, thus Hamas has been stalling. Israel is right in refusing a two-state solution and deserves to keep Gaza. The people who call themselves palestinians were once spread all over the Middle East so it's somebody else's turn to babysit them. We need to start rounding them up from our college campuses and drop them somewhere in the Sahara Desert. We are sick of these rabid people.

Yay!!! More De@th and Destruction! Two groups of savages that don't want to ever stop with each other. If you are cheering this NEVER ending cycle on, you just may be a savage as well. AND, if you feel that strongly about it, I'd recommend getting on a flight over there and doing something about it. If you dropped a thousand shovels to both sides, instead of building things to improve their lives, they'd promptly go about hitting each other with them. And now we're talking about getting involved in Iran. Can we just cut off the Middle East? ALL of them. Let them fight over their pile of dirt. I know, I'm going to be dog piled. Don't care. This country of ours has been in one war or another my entire adult life (I'M 59). When is enough? Maybe they don't "Hate us for our Freedoms" or whatever palaver Hannity (does he still wear his lil' CIA button?) is spewing this week, and are, maybe a bit tired of the US constantly sticking it's nose, and blowing things up everywhere around the world.

I used to have a problem with indiscriminate bombing of Gaza because Hamas intentionally sets up bases of operation in schools and hospitals. However, after viewing the carnival atmosphere of the return of the Bibas bodies and the "joy" of everyday Palestinians, it's hard to muster any sympathy for "civilian casualties." I hope Hamas is completely destroyed and Gaza is leveled and turned into the Riviera envisioned for it.

As explained in The Closed Circle - An Interpretation of the Arabs by David Pryce-Jones, the Arab world doesn't have a concept of truth and lying akin to that of the Western world. In its place is the concept of honor and shame. If lying brings "honor" than it is useful and good, if telling the truth brings shame than it is to be avoided. The only "truth" in the Arab world is the Koran, everything else is a game of positioning yourself so you have "honor" and your enemies are "shamed". Unlike WWJD (what would Jesus do) the Arab world is all about shaming / hurting "enemies' (Jews and anyone not a Muslim are by definition "enemies") while honor / pride comes from killing enemies and / or dying in the process - there are bunches of eternal virgins waiting for these "honored" dead. It has been this way in that part of the world for thousands of years and will in all likelihood remain unchanged for hundreds / thousands of years to come.

Only a speculation here, but Hamas did not release any more hostages, because none remain alive. And the last time they did release a hostage, it was a single hostage, along with four dead bodies. Hamas has no more living hostages to release. Nothing else makes any sense.

We’ve been waiting for the other shoe to drop for a couple of years at this point since the bird flu narrative first ramped up post-COVID. Mammal-to-mammal gain-of-function — the newfound ability to transmit between mammals — has always seemed inevitable, given that the biomedical security state is literally funding gain-of-function research on viruses in clandestine labs all over the world, fully immune from oversight. It was nearly a year ago that former CDC Director Robert Redfield predicted bioengineered bird flu that infects and transmits among humans could drop “in months.” Highly pathogenic H5N1 avian influenza viruses (HPAIV) belonging to lineage 2.3.4.4b emerged in Chile in December 2022, leading to mass

WASHINGTON - The administration of President Donald Trump was consulted on Monday by Israel on its deadly strikes in Gaza, a White House spokesperson told Fox News' "Hannity" show. "The Trump administration and the White House were consulted by the Israelis on their attacks in Gaza tonight," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a Fox News interview. Palestinian medics in Gaza reported dozens of people were killed in the aftermath of a series of the most violent air attacks by Israel on the Palestinian enclave since a ceasefire was reached on January 19 between Israel and Hamas militants. A senior Hamas official said Israel had unilaterally overturned the ceasefire agreement.
