Talk about karma!
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has been slapped with a $54,000 penalty for blatantly violating Georgia’s open records laws in her politically motivated prosecution of President Donald Trump.
“The county’s Superior Court Judge Rachel Krause formalized her ruling Friday and ordered Willis to pay $54,264 in attorneys' fees and litigation costs after ‘intentionally’ failing to provide records requested by Ashleigh Merchant, the attorney who filed the motion to disqualify Willis from prosecuting Trump on charges of allegedly interfering with the 2020 presidential election,” reports Fox News Digital.

I can remember Willis strutting into the courtroom at one point, full of herself. Now her prosecutor and herself have been disqualified and she owes a big, but not big enough, fine. I wonder if she is still strutting today?

It shouldn't be a problem for someone who said she keeps that much money in her home safe.

$54K is -in today's legal world- a slap on the wrist with a wet noodle.
What fines were levied against Trump in one of these BeeEss 'defamation' cases.... Million$!
What penalty was levied against Starbucks just a couple of days ago in a 'Hot Coffee' case?
$50 MILLION!
.... and who is going to actually pay the fine? Fani? her insurance company? \the Taxpayers of Geogia?
I bet, when all is said and done, that it does not come out of HER pockets!

Ashleigh Merchant presented a case so well that the judge had no other choice but to rule against Fani. The fine is inadequate, and should have been $250,000 from Fani's pocket, as she willfully committed this crime.

Is she personally liable for the fine or do the Fulton County taxpayers have to pony up for it? Can someone clear that up for me?

#13, I caught that, too. Ha!
Yeah, Ms. Willis has some testifyin' to do, and not the kind you do in church. Sometimes justice does prevail.

It would be nice to know what the punishment options were; specifically if jail time one of those options. But if "time" was allowed, the judge should have "slammed" her with some time in the slammer. Nobody deserved it more.

If I were a leftie judge filing cases against President Trump...I'd think twice...looks like ole fanny is gonna have some spraining to do to her beloved political friends in Washington DC...she's got some valuable information from the White House visits...for Pam Bondi...the AG....who did she talk to...and who paid her traveling expenses...and what was discussed...and who will pay her legal costs when her victims sitting in jail sue her...should be interesting...

The best part of this story is how dumb she really is because she DID NOT have to testify that day, she just marched into the court!! She was not called in to speak but when she heard some of the questions being asked of her boyfriend, she stormed in and opened her big mouth and began her lies. No even first year lawyer would ever do that. Probably got law degree same place as karmala harris.

Pray that this is the beginning of Fanny's legal problems. Remember she's the one who arranged with the WH to go after President Trump and that famous mug shot (which is now in the Oval) ha!

Fani enjoyed vacationing in the Caribbean with her
paramour, who was handsomely remunerated or I guess,
"premunerated?"
Besides being wonderful vacation destinations, those islands offer
diverse financial services and investment opportunities!
