Maxine Waters Believes a ‘Civil War’
is Coming, Says Liberals Must ‘Pray’
So They Don’t Fight Back

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) insists President Trump is trying to start a civil war in this country and indicated it would take incredible restraint from the left not to fight back. Waters, speaking at a Democrat retreat in Northern Virginia, made repeated assertions that Trump is gearing up for war. She kicked off the unhinged commentary by telling reporters the administration's efforts to reign in fraud, waste, and abuse in the federal government would leave seniors suffering and "homeless people ... on the street." “And so when that happens, what does Trump expect?"

The projection, strong with this one it is. Maxine is rabble rousing yet again but the rabble seems uninterested. Even the rent-a-mobs seen to be few, far between, and small. Of course the shut down of the Leftist slush funds and collapse and future indictment of Act Blue may have had cooling effect on the hysteria. Whatever the cause, those like Mad Max, AOC & the Squad, ... are screaming into the wind and not many are even listening, partly because their media megaphone has been shrunk. The media outlets have been hit with lawsuit losses, imploding viewership, and financial red ink and they are now VERY careful about using flamethrowers on their shows because the blowback has been really bad. Max thinks Trump is going to be in the streets with storm troopers. Mostly, Trump is happy to let dems twist in the wind and use existing LAW to dismantle their mess. The era of government as Sugar Daddy is ending. The era of opportunity and merit has begun. For some, that transition will be hard. They can blame the dems for misleading them and making promises that could not be kept.

Two of the judges on the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said the orders "could raise concerns" about First Amendment rights, but found Abelson's "sweeping block went too far," according to the report.

Tactically, Sen. Schumer is right: Being (justifiably) blamed for a government shutdown wouldn’t help his party. And Democratic strategists like James Carville are also right: There’s nothing to be gained by “winning” the news cycle in the middle of March in an odd-numbered year. It’s smarter to play dead, give the opposition just enough rope to hang themselves, and rejoin the game a few months later to “save the day.” It's like the old saying goes: We can’t miss ya if ya never go away. As a long-term PR strategy, the Democrats would love to create the impression that they really, truly tried to cooperate with President Trump
