Five minutes ago, most Americans didn't even know what USAID was, but it has quickly become the topic du jour following President Donald Trump's radical reformation of the agency. As RedState reported, the Department of Government Efficiency first began cleaning house on Friday, with Secretary of State Marco Rubio then taking over the role of acting director on Monday. Tens of billions of dollars in grants have been frozen as the Trump administration attempts to sort through the mountain of left-wing priorities inappropriately funded by USAID.

She is smart and ready for them unlike the intellectually challenged KJP was/is. She doesn't need a binder and her standard phrase "I won't answser that from here" , then direct to some other dept. What a difference we actually have a president and a press secretary who are on top of things and can actually answer questions.

With all this winning, sometimes I feel I have stepped into an alternate universe! President Trump has assembled an awesome team that comes out swinging and brings it. Democrats and the media have to be reeling because they are being owned every single day. Please wipe this silly grin off my face.

A great example of the strength of Trump's people. They have the evidence and share it in a clear manner. USAID is an example of the results of an unmonitored use of funds. There is nothing risking America's security by listing WHAT the money was spent on. The only thing threatened by outing the supporting of "DEI" is the dems and bureaucracy's (CIA, ...) shell game. It also makes you wonder exactly what the money was really used for? Payoffs, bribes, vice? And THAT is why it is hidden. It's unauthorized and corrupt spending with a Leftist "We're helping people" mask put on to protect it. As stated, the whole mechanism is corrupt and unfixable. If there are "some" programs that are worth saving, move them to a different agency and MAKE SURE they are transparently monitored and the information is publically available. Further, the recipients of the money should be required to provide verifiable receipts for proper expenditures. If they really were going to DEI, well, that's no longer a priority of our government.

Hearing the democrat and deep state critters whine about cutting the USAID funding, the odious Illan Omar in particular, I'm sure Elon and company will be following the money at the now defunct USAID and other government slush funds. I'm thinkin' that the trails of money are gonna lead directly to little Swiss bank accounts or other secretive money laundering stashes and maybe just maybe we will finally see how electeds and pols leave government "service" so wealthy. How much do these NGO's and other organizations, if not USAID staff for example, kick back to favored, supporters in Congress? The Congress critters appropriate billions in these slush fund organizations, then get the kickbacks, and who's to say when a few million go missing? Hey, nice gig if you can get it. Elon, keep it up buddy. You are definitely over the target.

There's the problem..... "five minutes ago, most Americans didn't even know what USAID was." Under the radar, ten thousand USAID employees were spending billions of dollars on dubious projects around the world, UNCHECKED AND UNACCOUNTABLE. Very little of that money went to starving Africans or other people living in misery wherever. But just check out the residences and cushy expatriate lifestyle of the USAID employees posted overseas, all at taxpayer expense.

Securing the Border: Trump Actions Prove
It Doesn't Require New Laws

Now we’re getting serious: Guantanamo Bay and U.S. attorneys. The Trump administration’s twin actions last week stepping up its attack on the illegal immigration problem show the depth of Trump’s commitment to ending the crisis at our southern border and his determination to get results. And, clearly, while these moves represent a significant escalation of his administration’s actions to secure the border, they are just two of many, many actions Trump has ordered – each of which puts the lie to Joe Biden’s complaint that he needed a new law from Congress before he could do anything to stop the flow of illegal aliens across the southern border.

Oh, this is a little funny. The vertically challenged Ukrainian president who dresses like a UPS driver, is now likely to make a deal with President Trump where Ukraine puts up their “rare earth minerals” as collateral for taxpayer funds received by the United States. Previously President Trump remarked that U.S. leadership were “stupid” for not securing Afghanistan future mineral contracts in exchange for U.S. military operations. Talking about the Ukrainian expectation from the oval office earlier today, President Trump outlined his expectations that Volodymyr Zelenskyy put up the rare earth minerals as collateral for continued financial support

Well, that didn't take long. After speaking with President Donald Trump, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Canada will do more to enforce border security and control the flow of illegal drugs."I just had a good call with President Trump," Trudeau wrote in a post on X. "Canada is implementing our $1.3 billion border plan — reinforcing the border with new choppers, technology, and personnel, enhanced coordination with our American partners, and increased resources to stop the flow of fentanyl. Nearly 10,000 frontline personnel are and will be working on protecting the border."

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy’s office furiously tried to back-peddle Monday after he boasted that he had opened his home to a migrant and taunted the Trump administration “to try to get her.’’ A rep told The Post that the loose-lipped Jersey leader had been “misinterpreted” and that no such situation had occurred — even though Murphy had dared the feds to come after the migrant. Murphy had boasted during a weekend interview with a liberal organization that he and wife Tammy had opened their home to a female migrant and challenged the feds to do anything about it —

American-Israeli Keith Siegel was released by Hamas Saturday morning in the latest hostage-for-prisoner swaps — making him the first US citizen freed by the terror group under the ongoing cease-fire deal. Siegel was released just before 10:30 a.m. local time when the Red Cross organized his release with Hamas after he spent the last 484 days in captivity. Siegel, 65, an occupational therapist from Chapel Hill, N.C., was kidnapped along with his wife, Aviva, when Hamas raided their home on Kibbutz Kfar Aza on Oct. 7, 2023.

What kind of people are Democrats in terms of human decency? I blogged yesterday about about their execrable behavior to Robert F. They interrupted, while Kennedy remained the perfect gentleman in a setting no gentleman should ever have to endur. But they only got worse after I signed off on that piece. Here's what kind of creature Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse is as he preens on the Senate floor, piously intoning "You frighten me":

An interesting interview between Maria Bartiromo and recently confirmed CIA Director John Ratcliffe. Within the interview Director Ratcliffe outlines the big picture instructions and direction he has received from President Trump during the second term in office. In essence, the request from President Trump is for all of the IC silo heads to begin completely removing the elements of political manipulation from within the operations they are now going to lead. To accomplish the goal, the ultimate goal, President Trump has instinctively told the incoming IC administrators to regain trust through transparency.

WASHINGTON — President Trump proposed a US takeover of the Gaza Strip Tuesday night — shortly after suggesting removing “all” Palestinians living there. “The US will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it too,” Trump said at a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “We’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site, level the site, and get rid of the destroyed buildings — level it out and create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area.” (Photo)

Efforts to divide the force — to put one group ahead of another — erode camaraderie and threaten mission execution,” Hegseth said in the directive, formally known as a "guidance." “Going forward, DoD Components and Military Departments will not use official resources, to include man-hours, to host celebrations or events

What the hell did I watch? If anything, the anti-Elon Musk rally last night proved two things: Trump derangement syndrome has been replaced by Elon Musk derangement syndrome. Second, the Democratic Party has no idea how to win elections. The reports of a rudderless, leaderless, and divided organization were confirmed last night. It also showed that they have no message other than ‘me no like this Trump administration,’ of which Elon Musk is a top agent of the president. His Department of Government Efficiency is wiping the table clean, exposing waste and fraud, and getting these lazy DC government workers to quit.

Yet Democrats have been leveling all kinds of crazy accusations against Trump and Musk, especially since Musk has been looking into the hornet's nest that is USAID. Rep.
