Ahhh, the Super Bowl. Where families gather to watch the big game. Eat lots of food. Drink some. Party a little. Get together with friends to laugh, chill, hang out. It's one of the few moments, the extremely few, few moments, where Americans genuinely come together.
We put aside politics. We put aside our differences. We take part in a great American tradition. It's actually pretty cool. Well, it was. Because now President Donald Trump is attending the game.
Punchbowl News was the first to report that Trump will attend Super Bowl 59 between Philadelphia and Kansas City in New Orleans. So the most divisive

Freeman can always put his fingers in his ears and close his eyes when the Superbowl crowd erupts in thunderous cheers for Trump. I wonder if USA Today is getting funds from USAID.

Trump won the popular vote. He doesn’t need this whiney worm’s permission to attend the Super Bowl. He’s obviously out of step with most of the country. But let him have his little moment.

They'd whine if Trump didn't go too.
Now, personally, I wouldn't go, even if it were all free and within strolling distance from my home. The last time I even slightly cared who won a professional football game, Bart Starr was playing. (PLAYING, not coaching.)

Don't like Trump there? Then just watch for all of the shots of Taylor Swift's over exaggerated reactions to every play by the KC Chiefs! Even worse if Travis Kelce is involved. Makes you wish you could see Trump.

Geee...this guy writes like a grade schooler...but even worse, he is upset that "End Racism" will not be displayed, that "Choose Love" will be instead...yet he has chosen HATE, openly, loudly...hypocritically.
At some point, either in his life, or that of an ancestor, someone CHOSE the name he uses... Free-Man...yet he remains a slave to hate.

Good grief. VPs have attended before and needing the requisite security. Any celebrity that attends creates a hoopla. Taylor Swift probably has a security detail and will be followed by a mob of photographers and reporters. Freeman knows the crowd is liable to break out in USA, USA chants, and he can't stand the thought. Petty hack.

Another reason to never read USA Today. Evidently, Mike is not only a silly, immature person, but also very young. I'm a year younger than Trump. In my lifetime, the most divisive President in my lifetime was without a doubt, Barack H. Obama.

Almost three months ago to this day we held a national election. President Trump won it handily. He is the duly elected President of the Untied States. If you cannot accept the expressed will of the majority, just who is being divisive and sullying unity? Go jump in a bayou, election denier.

They used to put USAToday under the door of each room in many hotels every morning, for free. People complained and they stopped. They then kept a few for free on the counter in the lobby.
Can't hardly even give away this crap.

Someone tell the author that his leftist fly is open, metaphorically speaking.
I'm sure shots of Taylor Swift, Joe Biden, Bill Cllinton, Hussein, or Kamala would be welcome.
Doesn't matter to me since I'm boycotting. I do hope the Kansas City Refs lose, though.

I take issue with your statement that the super bowl is one of Americas best days. Not in my book it isn't. It's a long boring day filled with boring NBA basketball and endless expert analysis by football commentators' and their promotion of the super bowl. Play the game already. When watching commercials becomes the most exciting part of the day, then the dumbing down of the population has been a success.

Back in the day of traveling to golf tournaments all over Florida, some motels or hotels would leave a copy of USA Today on the hall floor outside the door. It was worth what you paid for it, which is nothing. I see that hasn't changed. Leftist politics are very, very unattractive, sort of like the image of 500+ pound rapper Dank Demoss at a nudist colony. Mike Freeman needs to put on his diapers before he has an FJB type of accident. Get over it, wuss.

I haven't read a physical copy of USA Today since GWB was POTUS. Much less read them on the internets. Mikey Freeman sounds like one of those metrosexuals fake news democrat supporting male "journalists" that inhabit newsroom bull pins across our fruited plain. He also sounds like he's never watched nor understands football. Much less the NFL. I'm glad President Trump will be in attendance. If anything, it might keep the cameras off that insufferable twit Talyor Swift and her idiot boyfriend Travis Kelce. I don't like the Eagles but I hope they beat the Chiefs.

Sorry to break it to you Mike but the game, the ads and the half-time show already ruin the day. The best way to survive it all is to go for a long walk with the dog. After all that Donald Trump has done for in the past two weeks, let him enjoy a few hours off.
