America’s greatest presidents were sometimes treated like punching bags in office — insulted and vilified by opponents. President Biden has endured the same undeserved treatment. But I expect that, like other great presidents, history will judge him more accurately.
Biden has been a historically transformative president. His landmark domestic accomplishments are comparable to Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal and Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society.
A 2023 survey of 154 political scientists and other presidential experts ranked Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Roosevelt and George Washington as America’s three greatest presidents, in that order. Biden ranked No. 14. Donald Trump, who will become president again

The Wall Street Journal has an article delving into the efforts to cover up Biden’s mental state. But the article raises as many questions as it answers. I won’t dwell on the umpteenth revelations that Biden had bad days, that he had trouble remembering lines or figuring out where he was supposed to go.
While preparing last year for his interview with Robert K. Hur, the special counsel who investigated Biden’s handling of classified documents, the president couldn’t recall lines that his team discussed with him. At events, aides often repeated instructions to him, such as where to enter or exit a stage, that would be obvious to the average person…

The Vice President’s office said Harris would not travel to California on Thursday as planned and would instead remain in the capital. [Snip] The sudden jettisoning of Harris’ holiday prompted widespread speculation on social media that Biden could be in poor health. Her announcement came hours after a bombshell Wall Street Journal investigation exposed how frail the president has been throughout the last four years. [Snip] Harris staying in Washington is likely due to the uncertainty of whether the House of Representatives can pass a stopgap continuing resolution bill to fund the government.

Sears has closed its final store in Washington, leaving it operating in only four states across the US.
The department store, which was once the largest in the country, closed an outlet in the Southcenter Mall in Tukwila, Washington, on December 15.
In the weeks leading up to its closure, the store, which had been there for three decades, hosted discount sales for shoppers. Its closure means that Sears only has eight stores remaining across California, Florida, Massachusetts and Texas.
Locals expressed their sadness at the store closing its doors.

These are President Joe Biden's stumbles and mistakes that should have been a clue to his rapidly declining mental health - after bombshell report revealed how Democrat insiders and cheerleaders hid his condition from the public.
The Biden Administration launched an extensive, deliberate and years-long cover-up in attempt to hide his ailing mental state, a new explosive investigation by The Wall Street Journal has exposed.
The bombshell report revealed how Biden's team hired a vocal coach, put other officials into roles usually occupied by the president, scrapped meetings on his 'bad days', and kept him at arm's length from his own Cabinet members.

A House Republican measure to avert a government shutdown went up in flames Thursday in a 174 to 235 vote after a near-solid bloc of Democrats and 38 Republicans voted against the stopgap, which had been championed by President-elect Donald Trump.
Twenty lawmakers did not cast a vote on the spending patch. Only two Democrats — Reps. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-Wash.) and Kathy Castor (D-Fla.) — voted in favor of it. Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio) voted present.

President Joe Biden is transferring more student loan debt onto American taxpayers with only weeks left until he departs the Oval Office.
The Biden administration announced Friday that it is giving $4.28 billion of student debt relief to almost 55,000 more public service workers including teachers, nurses, and law enforcement officials.
“From Day One of my Administration, I promised to make sure that higher education is a ticket to the middle class, not a barrier to opportunity,” Biden said in a statement. “Because of our actions, millions of people across the country now have the breathing room

As Barack Obama slowly fades from the landscape, let’s consider how he has helped to destroy Western civilization, especially the United States of America. He did this via his fealty to Iran, which allowed unchecked, deadly drug trafficking into America while giving Iran the time, space, and funds to develop its nuclear weapons.
The Obama Administration killed hundreds of thousands of Americans by allowing the Iran-founded and funded terrorist organization Hezbollah to operate in the Western Hemisphere, where it built a narco-terror network that shipped illegal drugs into this country. The Middle Eastern threat is now below our southern border, something obvious as far back as 2011

They are still confused and, understandably, a little angry in the centre of Essen, though the mood is very much calmer than it was a few days ago. [SNIP] As I stand here, amid the oom-pah music, the fairy lights and the little stalls selling hot chocolate, hefty sausages, toys, candles and all the ephemera you would expect at a traditional German Christmas market, I can see why.
For in mid-afternoon on Sunday December 8, this snug ambiance – what the Germans like to call 'Gemütlichkeit' -- was suddenly disrupted by chants of 'Allahu Akbar'.

President Biden was so mentally fatigued that he skipped out on a phone call from the chair of the powerful House Armed Services Committee ahead of the US’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, according to a report.
Biden, the oldest president in US history, was incredibly hard to reach — even for lawmakers in his own party — as his aides attempted to keep Biden’s evident mental and physical decline under tight wraps, a bombshell report from the Wall Street Journal revealed.
That inaccessibility proved to be immensely consequential for one of the administration’s biggest snafus that would mar the remainder of Biden’s presidency.

In an epic exchange on CNN, Senior Political Commentator Scott Jennings delivered a brutal reality check to Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) and the Democrats, cutting through their rhetoric with precision. The moment came after Jayapal launched into a tirade blaming Elon Musk and Donald Trump for the looming government shutdown.
“We already had a bill,” she said. “We negotiated it. Mike Johnson agreed to it. And because, as you said, Elon Musk, a billionaire, tweeted about it — President Musk tweeted about it — these Republicans tried to go around their own caucus, all the work that's been done, and they are in charge of shutting down the government. Americans used to be afraid of government shutdowns, and a few still are.
Ever worried about catching flak, it's almost a given that they bend the knee to Democrats and give them what they want. This is a hangover from the Clinton years when Bill Clinton could look into the camera with his scolding eyes and blame Republicans for every bad thing, and people bought the spin because the Pravda Media kept repeating it.
Republicans learned a lesson, but the wrong one. What they should have figured out is that the Democrats and the media would attack them no matter what, so they should just go
