What the Trump Nominees Have Not Done

Deflated by the resounding November defeat, the left now believes it can magically rebound by destroying President-elect Donald Trump's cabinet nominees. Many of Trump's picks are well outside the usual Washington, D.C./New York political, media, and corporate nexus. But that is precisely the point -- to insert reformers into a bloated, incompetent, and weaponized government who are not part of it. Trump's nominee for FBI director, Kash Patel, is already drawing severe criticism. His furious enemies cannot go after his resume since he has spent a lifetime in private, congressional, and executive billets, both in investigations and intelligence.

Comments:

Hanson deftly contrasts the outgoing from the incoming.

The danger in Matt Gaetz stepping aside was that having succeeded in taking down one of Trump's nominees, the goons on the left became emboldened to target others like Pete and Tulsi. It's imperative that all of Trump's picks stand firm, kick the libtard bullies squarely in the nuts, and tell them in no uncertain terms exactly where they can go so as to refute the bullies' fallacious belief that te should and do run DC regardless of who actually won the last election.

Here we are 8 long years later and all Chief Justice Roberts will say about the abuses of FISC and FISA , Our Constitution and Bill of Rights is PARDON me.

The list of stories on the corruption committed by Democrats in major cities across the country might rival the length of your average telephone book. In this latest, sordid situation on Friday, we find ourselves learning about alleged corruption in the city of Boston, thanks to a heads up by our friend Andy Ngo: He wrote on his X account: Tania Fernandes Anderson, a woke BLM Muslim former illegal migrant Democrat serving on the Boston City Council, has been arrested by the FBI after being indicted on five counts of aiding and abetting wire fraud and one count of aiding and abetting theft

Establishment Republican strategist Karl Rove attacked highly popular Vice President-elect JD Vance this week for his successful Senate bid in 2022, claiming he was a poor candidate. Rove’s odd and unprompted insult came in a comment to the New York Times in an article published Thursday about Steven Law stepping down as head of the Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY)-aligned Senate Leadership Fund super PAC: “There was a candidate running in Ohio who was a terrible fund-raiser and was not a particularly effective candidate and the rest of the Republican ticket is winning by — from 18 to 24 points,” Mr. Rove said. “

MSNBC president Rashida Jones is considering leaving the network after President-elect Donald Trump is sworn in to a second term in the White House as the left-leaning channel’s ratings crash, according to a report. Jones – who took the helm in 2021 and became the first black woman to lead a major national news network – is mulling an exit from the job early next year, according to a report by Oliver Darcy in his Status newsletter. The move would only come after Trump is sworn in to serve a second term as president on Jan. 20, Darcy reported, citing anonymous sources.

"Moving at the speed of business" was one of the great corporate slogans of our lifetimes. In just six words, UPS declared that they didn't just move fast, they expected their customers to. From 1995 to 2002, it was a boast and a compliment about speed, agility, and affordability — at a time when business adaptation of the internet demanded more and more of all three. [snip] On Monday, Biden's Department of Energy announced a $7.5 billion loan to Stellantis and Samsung to build batteries in Indiana for cars no one is buying. How much do you want to bet that loan ever gets paid back?

The Biden administration might be in its final days but that doesn’t mean the flow of lethal U.S. weaponry to Ukraine shows any sign of slowing. Far from it. That was confirmed Monday when an additional $725 million in military assistance, including counter-drone systems and munitions for its High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS), was announced by the White House. AP reports it is unclear whether the munitions for the HIMARS are the coveted ATACMS — the Army Tactical Missile System — but Ukraine has been pressing for more of the longer-range missiles to strike additional targets inside Russia.

A remote Canadian town was fined thousands of dollars after it refused to celebrate Pride Month and didn't hang up a rainbow flag. The town of Emo in Ontario was fined $10,000 and its Mayor Harold McQuaker was also penalized $5,000 on November 20 after a local pride group sued the community of 1,300 for not recognizing Pride Month. McQuaker and two town councilors will also be required to complete mandatory human rights training within 30 days, according to The National Post. They also have show proof of their training to Borderland Pride, which filed the discrimination complaint to the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.

We do not live in anything resembling the nation that was envisioned by our Founders, and for the first time in modern American history, we seem to have reached a consensus in recognizing that fact. This was just dramatically evidenced in a presidential election, in which a broad coalition of voters from the political left and right voted overwhelmingly for Donald Trump, who promised to create a “government efficiency commission” to be headed by Elon Musk. How a “government efficiency commission” could become the emphatic demand of a populace that I watched vote for an unquestionable expansion of the federal government during the Obama years is a sobering thing.

The legal notes — which are disclaimers provided by the subjects’ lawyers — pertained to remarks made on-air by the show’s stars Joy Behar, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin. During a segment discussing George Santos, Behar brought up the former congressman’s 23 criminal charges, including wire fraud.

The left’s autopsy of its very predictable electoral defeat has become a comedy show. Joe Scarborough is on bended knee, licking the boots of an incoming president he has likened to Hitler. Nancy Pelosi, who first defended Biden’s mental capacity before coldly whacking him, is now blaming him for Kamala Harris’s loss. Activist “journalists” claim that Harris ran a “perfect” campaign and blame voters “who gave up on democracy.” Self-preening typifies much of what’s wrong with the contemporary American left. It’s a culture driven by its own self-exaltation and social credit scores rather than self-examination. Moral condescension and virtue signaling are its chief currency.

No one seems sure who first said it, maybe Joseph Goebbels, but in any case, it’s a tried-and-tested Alinskyite tactic: accuse your enemy of what you’re doing. Barack Obama is a practiced expert at this, and he gave a master class in it on Thursday at his Obama Foundation’s Orwellian-named Democracy Forum. With some notable and revealing difficulty in getting the words out, Obama accused the Republicans of doing everything that the Democrats have been doing for the past few years: rigging elections, weaponizing the justice system, and trying to ensure that they would remain in power on an indefinite basis. Whatever can be said of Barack Obama, the man

Republican Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) is raising concerns that certain establishment GOP lawmakers may quietly undermine President-elect Donald Trump’s agenda despite publicly claiming to support it. As Trump gears up for another four years in the White House, Roy fears some of his colleagues, particularly those with strong ties to the D.C. establishment, will work behind the scenes to thwart his policies or derail his efforts. The Texas representative’s warnings reflect a broader anxiety within the GOP about the deepening divide between the incoming Trump Administration and those deep inside the swamp. In addition to Roy, others also fear these Republicans may prioritize their political futures.
