Mexican security forces said on Dec. 4 that they had made the largest fentanyl seizure in the country’s history, impounding 1,100 kilograms (1.2 tons) of the synthetic opioid in the state of Sinaloa.
Mexico’s top security official, Omar García Harfuch, said in a statement that more than a ton of fentanyl was seized by officials in Sinaloa state. Several guns were also seized, and two men were arrested, he said.
“This is an investigation that has been going on for a long time, and yesterday, it gave these results,” Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said at a press conference on Dec. 4, referring to the fentanyl seizures.

The potential for a shakeup left some among the petty press warning of a “boycott” should their ivory towers be toppled with expanded credentialing.
Like the “expert class” and the tenure-protected squatters within the halls of academia, a consensus through shunning differing opinions had ingrained hubris on qualifications. With the foundation of corporate media still rocked from a demonstrated lack of sway over voters for the 2024 election, talk of President-elect Donald Trump allowing podcasters and other alternative media producers into the White House press briefing had some wanting to take the ball, which had never been theirs, and go home.

President-elect Donald Trump is not playing games with Hamas terrorists but MSNBC’s Joy Reid has a problem with his hard-line warning on the release of hostages.
With an estimated 63 hostages, some American, still being held inside Gaza more than one year after the Hamas attack on Israel, Trump is warning the Iranian-backed terrorist group that there will be a reckoning if hostages are not released by the time he is inaugurated in January. This, for the host of “The ReidOut” is akin to a mob boss demand.
Reid’s level of Trump Derangement Syndrome had her blasting the incoming 47th president as a “gangster”

Mitt Romney, who will also be remembered by his weird Twitter pseudonym, Pierre Delecto, gave a farewell address on the Senate Floor Wednesday before leaving Washington and the government, hopefully for good.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Romney announced last year that he wouldn’t seek reelection following two failed Presidential campaigns and one term in the Senate.
This is the best thing Romney, 77, has done in his 30-year political career since his first failed run for Senate in 1994.
In his address, the career politician trashed those “who would tear at our unity” and “replace love with hate,” likely aimed at President Trump.

Project Veritas caught Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Advisor Brent Efron on undercover video admitting there is an “insurance policy” against President Trump.
President Trump nominated Lee Zeldin to run the EPA.
“It was an insurance policy against Trump winning,” Brent Efron told Project Veritas undercover journalist.
“Get the money out as fast as possible before they [Trump Administration] come in … it’s like we’re on the Titanic and we’re throwing gold bars off the edge,” Efron said.
Via Project Veritas:
Efron spoke to a Project Veritas investigative journalist about his role in doling out over $100 billion in grants to nonprofits under Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act, which he dubs “Biden’s climate law.”

The night was November 5th, 2024. Political prisoner Enrique Tarrio lay flat on the floor of a solitary jail cell in Mississippi with his ear pressed to the bottom of the door.
The night turned into the early morning hours of November 6th. Tarrio waited breathlessly, listening to the noises of faint radio broadcasts.
Around 1:00 AM, the news projected Donald Trump won Pennsylvania.
Tarrio took a full breath of the air coming under the door of his tiny cell. Oxygen. Hope.
In the rural Mississippi prison, surrounded by Trump-supporting guards and inmates, Tarrio heard chants of “TRUMP! TRUMP! TRUMP!” begin to echo through the halls of the facility.
Tarrio took another deep breath. Redemption.

Prepare to don your shocked face. With the deep state scrambling to find a way to stop Kash Patel from becoming Director of the FBI the Trump nominee has been "hacked."
According to CNN, Patel was targeted by an "Iranian hack" that just so happened to obtain some of his personal communications. The FBI briefed him on the supposed intrusion in a conversation that I'd have loved to have been present for. [Tweet]
Kash Patel, President-elect Donald Trump’s pick to run the FBI, was recently informed by the bureau that he had been targeted as part of an Iranian hack,

Former House Speaker and current CA Rep. Nancy Pelosi is infamously considered by many—including President Joe Biden himself—to be the chief architect behind the movement to force him to abandon his reelection campaign over concerns he couldn’t win. That didn’t work out so well, however, as the Obama-Pelosi-Schumer-Jeffries cabal that took down a sitting president quickly found out that the next in line—Kamala Harris—was utterly unprepared for the job as his replacement.
Harris promptly faceplanted and lost the popular vote, the electoral vote, and all seven swing states.
Pelosi, not known for introspection, is suddenly back on the side of the president

We reported on Tuesday about how Joe Biden said that he was giving Africa a billion dollars to deal with disasters, including "food insecurity." I noted how insane that was given that we have people right now in North Carolina living in tents who are still not getting the help or the money they need to survive in the wake of Hurricane Helene -- that's since September.
What is he doing in Africa when his first priority should be America and Americans?
All he seemed to be doing was embarrassing us including falling asleep at a summit meeting. Here's another video of how obviously it was he was asleep

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) is standing firm against the demands of lame-duck President Joe Biden. He rejected the outgoing administration's plea for additional funding for Ukraine. Johnson made it clear that he would not be taking orders from Biden but would instead wait for direction from the new commander-in-chief, President-elect Donald Trump.
On Wednesday, Johnson announced that he would not bring to the floor a request for $24 billion in aid to Ukraine. This followed reports that Biden was urgently pushing Congress to approve more assistance to Kyiv before his term ends. Johnson's move underscores his commitment to reevaluating foreign aid priorities under new leadership,

In a surprising turn of events, Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) is withdrawing his bid to retain his position as the top Democrat on the influential House Judiciary Committee for the next two years. Instead, he has thrown his support behind his rival, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD).
Just two days ago, Nadler stood firm in his decision to challenge Raskin for the high-ranking job. The New York Democrat’s shift regarding the influential committee's role will be crucial in overseeing the second Trump administration.
In a letter to his colleagues, Nadler stated that while he would "still be an active member" of the House Judiciary Committee and "work alongside its new leadership,”

It didn’t look good for Pete Hegseth, facing a multi-pronged attack on his character, a la Brett Kavanaugh, regarding his defense secretary nomination. Hegseth is qualified for the job. He’s also not just a Fox News host—he’s a decorated combat veteran who has worked with such groups for years. Yet, tales of sexual misconduct and hard drinking are now filling the airwaves, most of which is unsubstantiated drivel.
(Snip) With Matt Gaetz, Trump’s failed attorney general pick, four absolute ‘no’ votes killed his nomination—it was the usual suspects. For Hegseth, there are reports that ZERO Republican senators are opposed to his helming of the Defense Department
