“Even if you flippin’ fries at McDonald’s,” Oprah Winfrey once said, “if you are excellent, everybody wants to be in your line.”
I thought of this quote when Donald Trump turned up yesterday at a McDonald’s restaurant in suburban Philadelphia to do a shift making French fries, then handing bags of food to drive-through customers.
As political stunts go, this might have been the best I’ve ever seen, because it served two very powerful presidential race purposes.(Photo) First, it reminded voters that his rival Kamala Harris has repeatedly boasted about having a summer job at McDonald’s

It was not a "stunt." It was a great iconic moment in political history.
I've always been a Trump fan - for some reason his New York ways never offended me, even though I always thought that if I had bumped into someone like him at a cocktail party, I would have fled his company.
But after the events of the last four years, and especially of this past summer, and now seeing the crowds gathered at this McDonalds and the joy of the people in the drive through, Trump's indefatigable work and "shoe leather" approach to building a movement, I've got to think something metaphysical is happening.
Only the truly deluded and dishonest remain possessed by hatred.

The images were bloody priceless.
And, as always, he was friendly and polite to the workers.

The NYTimes said they corroborated the McDonald’s story. The Times quoted a friend of Harris’s who said the Vice President’s mother told her about the summer job years ago. Those are weasel words.

Did he get paid minimum wage for those 15 minutes? — Just so you know, I’m a Trump fan. My early morning start.

All we have to do to know just how effective this was is to take a look at the left’s reaction.

"The View" will probably devote the entire show to their freak out over this. I guess we'll find out soon.

Sorry #6, if Eric Hovde in Wisconsin is pulling out a utility bill for Tammy Baldwin, a paycheck stub or verification by McDonald's will make it believable.

The genius behind it was two fold.
First, it highlighted Kamala's presumably false claim to have ever worked at a McDonald's in Oakland as she claimed (trying to pretend to be an average joe-type person).
Second, it shows that despite being a billionaire and former president, he truly is just like everyone else and not afraid to put himself into what many consider a minimum wage job.
Brilliant.

The crowds lining the street when Trump arrived were unbelievable. And if he had just cooked a batch of fries and left it wouldn’t have gotten the publicity like this. It was working the window where he truly shined. Even cenk ungar is calling it a genius move.

Kamala has already jumped into her own vat of boiling oil. Trump is merely holding her down with the spatula.

Fine Dining Kamala and Lunchbucket Joe were never a good match, that's her problem here.
