Democratic strategist James Carville said Monday on MSNBC’s “The Beat” that he and host Ari Melber will be arrested if former President Donald Trump wins the election. Carville said, “Trump goes out, and he says I’m going to use the military to arrest my political enemies, and then Mike Johnson’s and Lindsey Graham, and the Wall Street Journal editorial pages say oh no, that’s not what he meant and then he comes back and says yeah, that’s exactly what I meant. You know what’ll happen? You pointed it out; if he wins, he will say, I told people I was going to do this. I have the legitimacy of an election

So, NOW! we're a Constitutional Republic? What happened to ya'll's democracy, demon head? You don't get to do everything you can to destroy the Constitution and the Republic, then fall on both to save yourself when your justice finally comes due. When you're defeated in battle, you don't get to determine how the victor deals with you. You should worry about what goes around comes around, though.

Projection, pure and simple. What the Dems did to President Trump, he will do to them. And rightly so. They deserve it. They broke so many laws and twisted the Constitution "seven ways from Sunday", and Snakehead knows it. Retribution is coming for the two impeachments (even one after he left office), the spying and Mueller, the shabby treatment of our lovely First Lady, all capped of with the grotesque post-presidency persecution. Most egregious of all has been the persecution of Trump supporters in the Stalinist shadow trials that have unjustly imprisoned participants in the January 6th Rally at the Capitol. The lies and deliberate distortions surrounding that event must be refuted and publicly denounced by all the professional politicians and enemedia that have spread these falsehoods. So many injustices must be righted. So much graft and corruption must be rooted out. We will do it with our "Blue Collar Billionaire" along with "Hank Reardon" come to life, Elon Musk, and all the everyday Americans that are longing to Make America Great Again. MAGA! TRUMP-VANCE 2024

That's probably the first time that Carville has acknowledged the term constitutional republic, rather than the usual trope "democracy" , which is more akin, definition wise, to mob rule. Carville has always been an attention whore, popping up and popping off during the presidential election. Trump won't arrest him. First of all, a President Trump would not have any powers of arrest, considering we are not at war. Second, Carville is not that interesting, and I doubt Donald Trump thinks about James Carville at all. I think that's what James Carville is actually upset about.

Republicans gain ground in blue Harris County 8 replies

HOUSTON — Just 10 days ago, Vice President Kamala Harris hosted a roaring rally for 30,000 Houstonians, featuring Democratic Senate candidate Colin Allred and superstars like Beyoncé and Willie Nelson. The event created a veneer of enthusiasm and hope for strong turnout in the blue bastion. On Tuesday, Democrats were left wondering what went wrong. As it turns out, turnout was the lowest Harris County has seen in more than 20 years — just 58% — 10 points lower than the last presidential election in 2020. With a dearth of Democratic motivation, Republicans gained ground.

Normally a reliable blue bastion in federal elections, New Jersey surprisingly put up swing state numbers on Tuesday, coming the closest it has in a generation to casting its electoral votes for a Republican president. Vice President Kamala Harris still won the state over Donald Trump, but the former president gained major ground in New Jersey. Having lost the state by double digits in 2016 and 2020, Trump closed election night down just five points — the closest presidential showing for a Republican since George H.W. Bush lost by 2.4 points in 1992. Tuesday night’s margin is more striking considering registered Democratic voters in New Jersey grew threefold

The chyron that appears below NBC's Lester Holt and Biden flack Jen Psaki shows NBC's call of the state of Washington, which took place as all three Blue Wall states flashed red for at least an hour. The New York Times "dials" had at this point given Trump >70% chance of winning each of them, as I recall, with Pennsylvania and its decisive 19 Electoral College electors already a near-lock.

Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced Wednesday he had dismissed Finance Minister Christian Lindner, bringing an end to Germany's ruling coalition after months of political wrangling and raising the possibility of snap elections in March. The three-year-old union between Scholz's Social Democratic Party (SPD), the Greens and Lindner's Free Democratic Party (FDP) had been on shaky ground for some time, with differing budget and economic policy positions causing tensions and clashes. Speaking at a press conference late Wednesday, Scholz launched a tirade against Lindner, saying he was not concerned about serving for the common good and he was dismissed to prevent harm to the country.

McALLEN, Texas — Former President Donald Trump won all of the South Texas border counties on Tuesday night, further proving that Republican voters are increasing in this once-Democratic stronghold region. Trump beat Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris in the eight counties bordering Mexico from the Gulf of Mexico to the eastern side of the Big Bend region — a distance spanning over 400 miles. This includes the South Texas counties of Cameron, Hidalgo, Starr, Zapata, Webb, Maverick, Kinney and Val Verde. Trump won Cameron County — a traditionally Democratic stronghold — by nearly 19,000 votes.

Donald Trump is projected to win the state of Arizona, clinching a major battleground state, according to Decision Desk HQ. Arizona is one of seven swing states that held the key to whether Trump or Vice President Harris returned to the White House. The Grand Canyon State went for Trump in 2016 by 3.5 points, but the former president narrowly lost it in 2020 against President Biden by just over a quarter of a percentage point. Before the election I wondered if this would happen. After universal mail-out ballots had been curbed in some places for the 2024 election, and despite same-day registration and voting and even outlawing voter ID in California, would America have the same numbers of voters as 2020? Would they show back up? At this point, it looks as if there could be a significant reduction in Democrat voters from 2020 to 2024. Votes are still being tabulated, however. Some of these votes may reappear. Questions abound. Take a look at one of the graphs put out on X by ZeroHedge: t's a serious concern. Explanations poured in all day Wednesday

Americans didn't vote for Donald Trump because they wanted to "preserve norms," whatever that could possibly mean coming from the mouths of people who broke every political rule in the book to destroy him. Presented with as clear a choice as possible between the establishment and a crew determined to crush it, Americans were very clear: TEAR IT DOWN. Trump didn't run to be a modest correction to the status quo, and he didn't win because of any particular policy proposal. He won because a majority of Americans are disgusted by our establishment and how it has abused us.

Vice President Kamala Harris can still become the first female President of the United States of America — but only if President Joe Biden resigns. Harris lost decisively to former President Donald Trump — now president-elect Trump — on Tuesday, dashing hopes that a woman would finally break through the “glass ceiling” and reach the Oval Office. But she still can — if Biden follows through on a promise to be a “transitional” candidate, and steps aside for Harris. If he does not, Biden will have consigned Harris to the ignominious task of presiding over the Senate during the certification of Donald Trump’s victory over her on January 6.

The combined star power of Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Cardi B, Jennifer Lopez, George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Bruce Springsteen, Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro and many, many more failed to carry Kamala Harris over the finish line on Tuesday — a humiliating defeat for the entertainment industry, which had mobilized many of its biggest celebrities this election cycle in the service of the Democrat party. President-elect Donald Trump’s resounding victory — he won the electoral and popular votes — signals the diminishing power of Hollywood stars as political influencers and message amplifiers.

The Democratic governor said she’s prepared to work with Trump, but spent much of her time talking about readying for political and legal war.

On Tuesday night, an NBC panel began discussing whether the Democratic Party was right to push President Joe Biden aside in favor of his vice president, Kamala Harris. "Jen, has the conversation begun yet about Joe Biden and about the decision to ask him to step aside?" Lester Holt asked former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki. "It will begin,” she said. “It will begin depending on the outcome. And obviously, there hasn’t been a race called yet. If this is not a Harris win, that will certainly be part of the discussion. She’s run a campaign over the course of 107 days. That is not something we’ve seen in history,

Antifa agitators are already rioting in Democrat-led crime cesspools, calling for chaos on Election Night no matter who wins the White House. Black bloc militants in the city of Seattle mobilized early in the evening to launch an Election Night attack at the former site of the deadly Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ). Seattle cops swiftly shut the anarchist occupation down and arrested several leftist activists, according to on-the-ground footage captured by The Post Millennial's Katie Daviscourt. "There is a heavy police presence on the ground tonight," she said, noting that the Seattle Police Department is "not playing any games." At least four Antifa suspects were arrested for obstructing traffic
