A pair of top House Republicans are demanding the Department of Justice (DOJ) open up a criminal probe into former Trump attorney Michael Cohen for allegedly lying to Congress. On Wednesday, the GOP chairmen of the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland calling on federal law enforcement to examine Cohen’s 2019 testimony to Congress as evidence of perjury. Lawmakers first made the criminal referral on Feb. 28, 2019.

So Cohen lied to Congress and admitted it in testimony about Trump in the current persecution trial in NYC . Glad at least two Rebublicans have the foresight to submit perjury complaint to the Dept of Just-Us. Of course nothing happens but Trump's lawyers could make an issue of in the current kangaroo trial.

DoJ will do NOTHING. They are in the Injustice business, and have no time or taste for justice these days -- ONLY political hit jobs.

If they requested this investigation in 2019 and the Justice department did nothing, what makes them think the Justice department will do something now.

"Lawmakers first made the criminal referral on Feb. 28, 2019" Gee, that's FIVE YEARS AGO. That says it all. Cohen is a useful idiot serving the purposes of the evil Democ'RATS and the Lamestreams (but I repeat myself). The Democ'RAT-run 'Just-Us' department will do NOTHING. I would wager that they are secretly spying on the Republicans who made the complaint, looking for embarrassing blackmail material on them, so they can force those Republicans to support their cause, or at least keep their mouths shut. Tucker Carlson talked about the Deep State blackmail of Congress a couple of weeks ago. Notice the about-face done by Speaker Mike Johnson who loudly spoke on border security, then suddenly joined the Uniparty and pushed through the 'Ukraine and Israel Aid" bill which Schumer and the Democ'RATS passed through the Senate with no changes -because it was THEIR bill.... which down in the fine print provided TWO BILLION EIGHT HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS TO IMPORT GAZAN 'REFUGEES' TO THE USA! None of the Arab countries will take them, the Arabs know that these people have been indoctrinated with hatred since birth, and they are more trouble than they are worth. But the 'RATS want to bring a bunch of them HERE!

This Week In Lawfare Land: Prosecutor
Misconduct Jeopardizes Another Case

As the lawfare crusade continues, former President Donald Trump is racking up significant victories in court. Down in Florida, President Trump secured an indefinite delay in his criminal case involving alleged mishandling of classified documents. This delay was ordered following revelations that Special Counsel Jack Smith and prosecutors mishandled and misrepresented evidence, which is uniquely ironic given the subject matter of the underlying case. In Georgia, where another criminal case is pending, the Georgia Court of Appeals agreed to hear President Trump’s attempt to remove Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis from the case. The Georgia Court of Appeals is set to consider and decide this issue in the coming weeks.

In a surprise victory with potential implications for the Biden administration, José Mulino was elected president of Panama May 5 on a platform that included closing the Darién Gap to migrants on their way to the U.S. southern border. During a May 6 interview with a Colombian radio program, the populist president-elect reiterated his vow to repatriate migrants coming into Panama while shutting down what has become a major route for illegal migration. “When repatriation begins here, those who try to arrive will think twice because they will not have an easy destination because they will be transferred to their countries of origin,” Mr. Mulino said.

Florida Senator Rick Scott was seated in the front row of the courtroom gallery today as he showed support for President Trump in New York City. Many of President Trump’s supporters in politics understand he is under a gag order and unable to speak in his own defense. It is good to see those who understand the dynamic show up in New York to say the things President Trump cannot. In his media remarks the former Florida Governor and current Senator Rick Scott, outlined the background of the key participants who are targeting Trump via these ridiculous political Lawfare tactics. The U.S. Secret Service reiterated that it “must provide protection” to former presidents amid speculation that President Donald Trump could be jailed by a New York judge for violating his gag order. On Monday, Judge Juan Merchan told the former president that if he continues to violate a gag order for speaking about witnesses and other individuals connected to the trial, he could face a jail term. In response to questions about how the Secret Service would respond if President Trump were jailed, a spokesperson for the agency told The Epoch Times Tuesday that “under federal law, the United States Secret Service must provide protection

So much for a border crisis. The Biden administration recently finalized regulations that will provide taxpayer-funded benefits to individuals who came into this country lacking authorization, by defining them as “lawfully present.” (snip)Apart from the clever way the administration has attempted to avoid legal challenges, the entire premise of the rule seems rather Orwellian. The idea that a president can unilaterally declare a group of individuals “lawfully” present without the consent of Congress defies logic, not to mention the basic principles of “our democracy” that the left purports to care so much about.

For a man who has never been shy about sharing his sanctimonious opinions, former President Barack Obama has been noticeably quiet about anti-Israel anarchists’ takeover of U.S. college campuses. On Monday, Columbia University — Obama’s alma mater — announced it will not host its university-wide commencement ceremony for this year’s graduating class. That appears to be a response to the pro-Hamas demonstrations that have engulfed the school for weeks. The announcement came days after the university (finally) permitted law enforcement to arrest participants unlawfully occupying a school building.

The deadline for political parties to nominate their presidential candidates is the issue in question.

President Trump and eight codefendants that sought review will have 10 days to file their appeal.

Those who understand the construct of Lawfare understand the purposes and intents. Lawfare is an outcome of a radical activist pivot point that happened during the Obama administration. Prior to the Obama-era the radicals tearing down government defended the transparently guilty, their allies and fellow traveling communists. Those who were arrested for violence the radicals supported, were defended, excused and their activity justified. After the election of Obama, as noted first by author Jack Cashill, something changed; (anip) In the “anger games” era of Barack Obama, the radicals began attacking the innocent and using their allies in media as part of the attack narrative. Paul Ryan must be very confused about what makes a person’s “character” good or bad; according to a new report, the former congressman will not be voting for Donald Trump, because “character is too important” and therefore, he can’t get behind a guy like Trump. Apparently, Ryan intends to write in another Republican candidate, which is obviously a throw away vote and therefore, one less vote against Joe Biden. Funny, because Ryan and all the other RINOs never say a word about Biden’s character, nor are they that critical of his policies. The goal with Ryan and others is to destroy Trump.
