Iran's General Salami Lauds 'Successful'
Attack on Israel, Warns Against Retaliation

Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) commander, General Hossein Salami, on Sunday applauded the drone and missile attack on Israel, lauding it as more successful than expected before warning against any retaliation from the Jewish state or its allies. Salami’s boast came despite the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) saying it had intercepted the “majority” of the “dozens” of drones and cruise missiles sent to attack Israel, though a few hit targets, including an IDF base, as Breitbart News reported. Overall a swarm of over 300 drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles were used in air assault by Tehran. Israel’s air defense systems were backed by assets from the U.S., U.K., and Jordan

In its entire existence when has Israel ever received a public "go ahead" in any of its physical responses to existential situations? Iran knows this. Iran knows Israel is intimately familiar with Iran's civil society. It's leadership has experience with Israel's abilities within its own borders and fear it Billions of American dollars ("pallets of cash") fund Iranian armaments and the region's current cycle of Iranian-centric war.

Successful? Iran must have Biden's press secretary. Iran's attack was anything but successful as a matter of fact it's an embarrassment. If Israel counterattacks and their defense is a 'successful' as their attack, there won't be much left of this criminal state.

"this operation has been carried out with a success that exceeded the expectation" The expectation must have been for abject failure. Frankly, our experience with boasts from Arab countries has been that they are all hot air. Remember Saddam Hussein? He was supposedly the tough guy in the region. We mopped up his operations in ONE MONTH with minimal casualties. (Our stupidity was staying and trying to make friends with the country.) Now we get Iran making a "huge" attack. The result, almost all the missiles shot down before they reached Israel (many what were not were determined NOT to be a threat), one Arab child severely injured, and minimal damage. Iran's response, "That shows YOU. Aren't you afraid of of us now?" It' somewhat reminiscent of Hamas attacks that end up killing Palestinians and destroying Palestinian infrastructure. The gang that can't shoot straight. I guess we shouldn't be surprised. Iran supplies and trains Hamas. Stupid is as stupid does. It would be nice to see every base that launched these weapons to be targeted by Israel. I'll bet those strikes would be 99% successful.

Leaving a meeting of House Republicans on Monday evening, Johnson said the narrowly divided chamber would consider four bills altogether that would also include aid to Taiwan, U.S. allies in the Indo-Pacific and U.S. national security priorities. "We know that the world is watching us to see how we react," Johnson told reporters. "They're watching to see if America will stand up for its allies and in our

Video clips show Miami police officers dragging the radical leftists, some of whom had tethered themselves to each other, off the streets like sacks of flour and dumping them on the sidewalks before they could successfully block the PortMiami entrance. Protesters in dozens of cities across America are participating in the “Global Strike for Gaza” today. They’re attempting to effect economic blockades to coincide with Tax Day. Iran’s attack on Israel this weekend didn’t deter the pro-Palestinian groups from holding the already-planned events. In Chicago, protesters organized by a group called Chicago Dissenters blocked the access road to O’Hare International Airport at around 8:30 a.m. to protest Boeing, which sells military equipment to Israel. Activists posted videos on social media of irritated airline customers walking along the shut-down road with luggage in tow. Some of the comments on the post mocked “the privilege of being annoyed”

The United States Supreme Court on Monday allowed Idaho to enforce its statewide ban on puberty-blocking drugs, hormone therapy, and sex-change surgeries for minors. The Court, in a 6–3 decision, ruled that the 2023 law may go into effect, though the state cannot apply it to the two plaintiffs who challenged the legislation. The Court granted Idaho’s emergency request after U.S. District Court Judge B. Lynn Winmill ruled that the state’s government could not enforce the law during ongoing litigation and argued that the measure likely violates what she saw as parents’ rights to decide the medical treatment their children receive. The Idaho state government has appealed the December

SAN ANTONIO — A group of protesters demonstrated outside the Valero headquarters in San Antonio on Monday morning to express their opposition to Israeli military action in Gaza. Traffic was tied up around the company's northwest-side campus for several hours. A spokesperson for the protesters said they were composed of different groups from San Antonio and Austin. They said they were showing support for the people of Gaza and the right of all Palestinians to be free of violence. Israel took military action in Gaza in response to the Oct. 7 terrorist attack by Hamas, a group operating out of Gaza.

If October 7 changed the way Israel sees Hamas, the Iranian attack over the weekend may have changed the way Hamas sees its leverage now. Their latest proposal for a cease-fire certainly implies it, coming just hours after the massive aerial attack. Hamas has not just rejected the US-drafted proposal for a 10:1 swap ratio but now refuse to swap at all until Israel withdraws from Gaza cities entirely. Has their leverage really increased that much? Or at all? Having rejected the terms of last week’s Cairo proposal for a hostage-truce deal, the Hamas terror group on Sunday reportedly presented mediators with a proposal of its own that requires Israel

Probably, the other Gulf states were also given a heads-up before Iran officially announced their retaliatory strike against Israel.
