Gov. Ron DeSantis is fighting back hard against a program that allows President Joe Biden's administration to fly migrants to Florida without notifying officials first and wants to make Florida 'undesirable' for illegal immigrants.
The Biden administration's CNHV program allows 30,000 undocumented migrants to be released into the country every month. And a new analysis from the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) on Monday reveals a vast majority of migrants flown into the U.S. are landing in Miami.[snip]
migrants arriving on the program were landing after boarding flights in Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela

Hollywood studio Paramount Global has been downgraded to junk status by S&P, which cited the ongoing plunge in cable TV subscriptions as the reason for the credit rating change.
Paramount — which owns numerous linear TV properties including CBS, Nickelodeon, MTV, BET, and Comedy Central — is facing a dire economic forecast that is shared by other legacy studios.
American households continue to cut the cords by the millions, depriving studios of lucrative carriage fees. At the same time, TV advertising revenue is plunging due to weak consumer sentiment tied to historic levels of inflation brought about by the Biden administration.

On the Christian calendar, this Sunday is Easter, a revered Holy Day for Christians celebrating the resurrection of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ when his tomb was found empty, three days after his execution by crucifixion commanded by the Roman Empire. Even in secular society, the day is celebrated with colored eggs and baskets filled with strange plastic grass and bunny-shaped chocolate confections, and the iconic, American candy gems known as jellybeans. Easter Sunday is not only an extremely significant Christian holiday, it is also a family-oriented tradition.

President Biden has sparked outrage by declaring Easter Sunday will also officially become Transgender Day of Visibility.
The White House doubled up backlash as it also banned religious imagery in submissions from children of military families taking part in the traditional Easter Egg Roll event, as critics branded the moves an 'attack on Christianity.' [snip] As he declared Easter Sunday would also be 'Transgender Day of Visibility', Biden also delivered a scathing attack on Republicans while stressing that 'transgender Americans are part of the fabric of our nation'

A nine-year-old boy was found dead inside a burning car after his father doused the vehicle and set it alight following a domestic dispute, authorities have said.
Manuel Rivers, 43, of Sayreville, New Jersey, has been charged with aggravated arson according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.
Police had been called to the family home shortly before 11pm on Thursday, and were told Rivera had left the residence with his son, whose name was not released.
Around that same time, a fire was reported in the area of Sayreville War Memorial High School.
When police arrived at the school, they found Rivera next to a burning car

President Joe Biden is being pressed to use the reconstruction of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore as an opportunity to remedy alleged racial discrimination against blacks in the construction industry.
Biden said this week that he had told his administration officials to “move heaven and earth” to reopen the port of Baltimore and rebuild the bridge. The reconstruction efforts, however, may be complicated by demands that the project further leftwing ideas about racial justice, the treatment of immigrants, climate change, and wealth redistribution.
An op-ed in The Hill underscores that some of these demands may be irreconcilable.

A driver has been charged with second-degree murder over the death of a woman out walking with her husband.
Derek Bizzell said that it was the first time his 42-year-old wife Shaunda had joined him on his evening exercise when they were run-down by a car.
The pair were walking the second lap of his standard loop of the neighborhood in Chesterfield, Virginia, when they saw the vehicle veer from the middle of the street towards them.
'We walked around the curb. We could see a car coming up the middle of the street like cars always do, and then he got closer to us,' Derek Bizzell told KCRG.

A Virginia mom believes a recent unanimous vote by a Fairfax County board to celebrate Transgender Day of Visibility this upcoming Easter Sunday sends a denigrating message to Christians on one of their holiest days.
Last week, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors voted 9-0 in favor of designating Easter Sunday as Transgender Visibility Day, which is observed each year on March 31. One member of the board, Republican Pat Herrity, was not present for the vote. [snip]
Fairfax County School Board, for example, has designated June as LGBT Pride Month and October as LGBT History Month.

The crime problem in New York City's subways has become legendary over the past few years, fueled in part by the invasion of illegal migrants flooding the city. The Governor and the Mayor have already sent in the National Guard and the State Police in an attempt to combat the problem. Now the Metropolitan Transit Department and the NYPD have announced that an additional 800 uniformed police officers will be heading into the tunnels. But their focus won't initially be on the knife-wielding muggers or the maniacs shoving people onto the tracks. They will be dispatched to the subway platforms to watch out for turnstile jumpers

At least eight states are planning to ban the sale of new gas-powered cars in the next decade - and others are considering joining them.
Only zero-emission vehicles can be sold in participating states beginning from the 2035 model year, according to the Advanced Clean Cars II legislation.
The rule, which was first adopted by California, means that automakers and dealerships would be banned from selling new gas cars in these states from that point onwards.
Americans will not be forced to take their gas-powered cars off the road, however, and will still be able to buy used and secondhand gas vehicles.
These states have gone further

Turning red states blue as well as adding house seats.
Speaking for my friends and neighbors, these criminals best not cause the chaos they do in blue states.
