Israel: Benjamin Netanyahu protests put
political divides back on show

They were put to one side for a while, as shock and national unity followed the 7 October attacks by Hamas - but six months later, thousands of protesters are once again on Israel's streets. The war has turbocharged their determination to unseat Israel's longest-serving Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In Jerusalem, police used skunk water - a foul-smelling substance fired from water cannon - to clear protesters who had blocked the Begin Boulevard, the city's major north-south highway. Well-worn slogans demanding his resignation and early elections were amplified by newer ones calling for an immediate deal to free about 130 Israeli hostages still held in Gaza.

Wouldn’t life be better all over the world if these liberal activists would just shut up and sit down? This appeasement ideology is the crux of so many serious issues the entire world is dealing with today. However, individuals with seemingly unlimited wealth are enabling and supporting the chaos because they believe only they have the wisdom and power to rule over us. They have destroyed academics, governments, corporations, cultures, and our moral underpinnings to forward their evil agenda and our country is not innocent in all of this. They need to destroy and crush freedom and those who wish to live a life unimpeded by an oppressive government and they are succeeding. Anyone dissenting is faced with a madding crowd of hysterical protesters. Anyone standing for freedom and self-preservation are their targets. Stand with leaders who will fight for their countries and people. It is all that is standing between the rest of us and total chaos and submission.

I'll bet the protests are paid for by George Soros. It's a wonder Mossad hasn't dealt with him, yet.

What is it with these lefty Israelis who think it was just fine for hamas to come in and murder 1,400 Israelis last October. And now they just want a "deal" with hamas. Perhaps they have a good case of the Stockholm Syndrome.

Skunk Water! What an idea! Why has no one thought about using skunk water to disperse those climate crazies blocking traffic? Man; that would be fun to watch.

FTA: "Israelis are not divided about destroying Hamas. That war aim has overwhelming support. But the way the war is being handled, and the failure to rescue or free all the hostages, is putting Benjamin Netanyahu under career-ending pressure." If Bibi goes, the war on Hamas will continue. The fact he's a FOT (Friend of Trump) doesn't help him in certain circles over here.

A mob of furious Illinoisans demanded Monday that self-described “Super Mayor” Tiffany Henyard resign from her post as the “Dolton Dictator” battles simultaneous sexual assault and money embezzlement scandals. The Village of Dolton’s monthly board meeting delved into chaos as the swarm of 100 people banged on doors as dozens of others testified against Henyard, leading the four trustees to walk out. “You know what you’re doing. You’re violating our rights, and that’s a shame,”

A social psychology professor in New York studied the complexity of “endings” — everything from ending the war in Vietnam to terminating a personal relationship. Ending the Israel-Hamas war dominates the political dialogue, highlighted recently in a chat between President Biden and Leo Varadkar, the Irish prime minister. From the official White House transcript: [Biden]: And the Taoiseach and I agree about the urgent need to increase humanitarian aid in Gaza and get the ceasefire deal — (applause) — to get a ceasefire deal that brings our — brings the hostages home and move toward a two-state solution,

RINO Representative Mike Gallagher (WI) announced ten days ago that he will exit the House as early as next month. Gallagher, who is currently serving as the chairman of the Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, last month announced that he will not seek reelection. Instead of serving out the rest of his term, Gallagher will retire early leaving the GOP with a one-vote majority! But it’s worse than that. Gallagher announced he will leave in mid-April. If Gallagher would have left before April 9th he would have triggered a special election in his district. Because he is leaving after April 9th but still in April,

The video shared by former President Donald Trump features horror movie music and footage of migrants purportedly entering the U.S. from countries including Cameroon, Afghanistan and China. Shots of men with tattoos and videos of violent crime are set against close-ups of people waving and wrapping themselves in American flags. “They’re coming by the thousands,” Trump says in the video, posted on his social media site. “We will secure our borders. And we will restore sovereignty.” In his speeches and online posts, Trump has ramped up anti-immigrant rhetoric as he seeks the White House a third time, casting migrants as dangerous criminals “poisoning the blood” of America.

Social Security recipients will now have to pay back much less if they were inadvertently overpaid. The Social Security Administration announced Friday that it will no longer automatically withhold 100% of the overpayment amount from recipients’ monthly benefits. Instead, it will collect 10% – or $10, whichever is greater – to recover the overpayment. There will be limited exceptions, such as when an overpayment resulted from fraud. “Social Security is taking a critically important step towards our goal of ensuring our overpayment policies are fair, equitable, and do not unduly harm anyone,

Many Americans are unenthusiastic about a November rematch of the 2020 presidential election. But presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump appears to stoke more anger and fear among Americans from his opposing party than President Joe Biden does from his. A new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research finds that Democrats are more likely to report feeling “fearful” or “angry” about the prospects of another Trump term than Republicans are about the idea of Biden remaining in the White House.

Voting ends Saturday in North Dakota’s Democratic presidential primary, with President Joe Biden looking to add the state’s handful of delegates to his insurmountable lead for his party’s nomination. The party-run contest rounds out the busiest month of voting on the presidential primary calendar, with 30 states plus the District of Columbia and several U.S. territories holding primaries and caucuses in the last 30 days. The primary was conducted mostly by mail, from Feb. 20 through Saturday at noon CT. Ballots received after that time will not be counted.

We are all aware that democracy is not a modern invention. It was characteristic of many city-states in the ancient world. Athens, for instance, had a flourishing democracy in the 5th and 4th centuries B.C., until the independence of the city disappeared in the emerging age of empires. Rome had a “mixed” constitution in which democracy was an important element until the republic vanished, to be replaced by monarchy in the first century B.C., the age of Caesar and Augustus. We moderns didn’t create democracy. However, beginning with the American Founding Fathers,

I don’t think many Americans realize how difficult it is to come to America legally. Among my own friends, I know an academic who has spent the past year in legal limbo, not allowed to work between teaching positions and constantly waiting on whether he can stay in America or not. In Georgia, I know a couple — the husband is American, the wife British — who can still not legalize as a couple, despite years of marriage and years of being together, who want to get themselves to America.

US home insurance rates will hit a record high this year, according to grim new forecasts. The typical annual premium will rise to $2,522 by the end of 2024, according to insurance comparison platform Insurify - up 6 percent on a year before. This projected increase for 2024 comes on the back of a 20 percent hike over the last two years. This has largely been driven by escalating natural disasters, insurers pulling out of certain areas - which cuts down on competition - and higher fees for home repairs. Soaring costs mean home insurance is becoming increasingly unaffordable for many Americans - with many opting to forego
