LOS ANGELES — U.S. Rep. Katie Porter became a social media celebrity by brandishing a white board at congressional hearings to dissect CEOs and break down complex figures into assaults on corporate greed, a signature image that propelled the Democrat’s U.S. Senate candidacy in California. This time, her numbers didn’t add up. The progressive favorite known for spotlighting her soccer mom, minivan-driving home life was trounced in Tuesday’s primary election to fill the seat once held by the late Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein, finishing far behind Republican Steve Garvey and fellow Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff. Another established Democrat, Rep. Barbara

Comments:

Libs are still steaming that she got trounced and a (gasp) Republican easily outpolled her in the Senate primary. AP says her House seat, which she gave up, is 'in danger' of being seized by Republicans.

SAN DIEGO — In his Super Tuesday victory speech, former President Donald Trump elevated false information that had gone viral on social media, claiming the Biden administration secretly flew hundreds of thousands of migrants into the United States. More than 100 Palestinians were killed and hundreds more injured in the Gaza Strip early Thursday, Hamas-affiliated health officials said — which Israel blamed on a massive stampede of people desperately clamoring for aid. About 104 people were killed while waiting for aid at the al-Nabusi roundabout to the west of Gaza City, Gaza Health Ministry spokesperson Ashraf al-Qidra said, accusing Israeli troops of opening fire. “There were so many dead and wounded that medics were overwhelmed and could not cope with the severity of their injuries,” he said.
