The deuce you say. It took several days, but NBC News' Ken Dilanian reported today -- on a weekend -- that Robert Hur actually had a case against Joe Biden for felony violations of 18 USC 793. Dilanian refers to this as "one of the most surprising findings" in Hur's report, but was it surprising at all? To Democrats, Hur’s finding that there was no criminal case to bring against the president is the most important takeaway. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm getting tired reading and listening to all this analysis and other shite. Outside of saying I'm being informed, I won't be changing my mind. I just don't care anymore! Trump is my man!

Which day or which time did he break a law. We have 3+ years of it, the worst being our southern border.

I’m getting really tired of hearing what we all already know. I don’t believe anyone is actually going to do anything about it , so quit pounding the drums and let us know when someone with balls enough does do something.

Yet again it is "Laws were clearly broken, we have the proof, it is a slam dunk on the facts" which is what special counsels are supposed to determine, Facts. Biden took and possessed Illegally acquired secret documents in DC, In Maryland, In Va, In Massachusetts, in Pa,, and in Delaware. Where they were not held in any secure fashion whatsoever, because he "Wanted to hire a ghost written book", for enormous financial and personal gain While unleashing the full and entire force of every aspect of the Govt to trace, chase, litigate, and prosecute Trump for having "Some" documents that he DID have an arguable right and authority to posses, the secure facilities to store them in, and had NOT had the time to even search for and review yet(even though EVERY outgoing President saves documents and writes a book after leaving office, or at least always has) Those documents then go to each of their "Presidential Libraries" But...in "Some" cases they then depart from Objective Facts and enter into supposition, and start making subjective judgements about what a "Prosecutor/Jury" MIGHT think, and how they MIGHT decide IF the case were ever presented to them, keeping the case from ever being presented to them.

Biden broke the law, just like Hillary broke the law. The DOJ decided not to prosecute either one.

If Joe Biden is unfit to stand trial,

If Joe Biden is unfit to stand trial, he’s unfit to be president. Special counsel Robert Hur’s nearly 400-page report is full of damning evidence of Biden’s carelessness with vital national-security secrets. And his defense of Biden is that the man is just too old and forgetful to be held responsible for his actions. Consider Biden’s storage of Afghan war secrets in his Delaware home, including a classified handwritten memo he wrote to President Barack Obama in 2009 that Biden kept because he thought it would vindicate his opposition to sending more troops.

The worst kept secret in Washington is the President’s accelerating cognitive decline. Yet, when special counsel Robert Hur’s report on Biden’s mishandling of classified documents made note of this obvious fact, the White House responded with outrage. Hur opted not to bring charges against him for several reasons, including how a jury trial might play out: “Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” This led to a hastily called news conference, during which a semi-coherent Biden shouted at reporters as if they were attempting to take away his car keys.

Former President Trump is all but certain to win the 2024 Republican presidential nomination and he will defeat President Biden in November — if the voters are allowed to decide the outcome. Though a number of polls show Trump leading in most if not all of the seven states that will be truly competitive this year, only Georgia and North Carolina have enacted meaningful election integrity legislation since the last presidential contest. The remaining five have doggedly refused to adopt serious reforms that will ensure fair and honest elections. Not coincidentally, they include states that Biden won in 2020 by tiny margins after protracted post-election vote counting.

Some of us older folks grew up in a time of normality when chaos was not the rule and weird, life-changing things didn’t happen. The stakes were not that high when we were growing up, except for the whole imminent nuclear war thing, but now we are regularly beset by flocks of black swan events, events so significant and life-changing that they send our society and our politics off in strange new tangents. And they now happen all the time. 9/11, the Wall Street meltdown, Trump’s election, COVID, Ben Shapiro getting a No. 1 rap hit … the black swans are coming fast and furious,

It’s instructive to observe where Americans are moving, and where they are leaving. Such comparisons are particularly revealing when made during, or immediately following, a crisis, such as the recent Covid-19 pandemic. States dealt with that crisis quite differently. Movement statistics from recent years help to establish which of the 50 “laboratories of democracy” responded best to the pandemic. The Census Bureau publishes annual data on each state’s net domestic migration—that is, how many U.S. residents have moved to a given state, minus the number who moved from that state to elsewhere in the U.S.

During President Biden’s inaugural address, he used the word “unity” at least a dozen times. He told us, “Today, on this January day, my whole soul is in this: Bringing America together. Uniting our people.” Three years later, his irresponsible policies and incendiary rhetoric have rendered the nation more divided than at any time in recent memory. Nowhere is this more evident than at the southern border where Biden has created a humanitarian crisis by ignoring federal immigration law and suing the state of Texas for exercising its constitutional right to defend itself from what its governor accurately describes as a foreign invasion.

The commentariat has made much of the “diploma divide” and the purported propensity of college graduates to vote for Democrats. Most of their disquisitions suggest that Republicans are by definition intellectually stunted. Ironically, serious analyses of voter behavior suggest the divide is shrinking. A Pew Research analysis of the last two midterms shows the Democrat-Republican share of college educated voters had narrowed to 52-47, a far smaller gap than in 2018. More evidence that a shift is underway involves former President Trump’s recent Iowa caucus victory, in which he dramatically outperformed his 2016 showing among college educated voters.

In late 2022, when asked by reporters about the probability that former President Trump would run for a second term, President Biden pledged to make sure “he does not become president again.” This was largely ignored at the time because Trump had not yet been bombarded with the brazenly partisan prosecutions that he is now fending off. In hindsight, it is clear that Biden was referring to a carefully planned lawfare campaign coordinated by the White House. His administration’s fingerprints are all over every prosecution from the first indictment by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg to the recent attempt to remove Trump from the Colorado primary ballot.

In the last six months, we have borne witness to many iconic moments evidencing the collapse of American culture. The signs are everywhere and cover the gamut of politics, the economy, education, social life, popular culture, foreign policy, and the military. These symptoms of decay share common themes. Our descent is self-induced; it is not a symptom of a foreign attack or subterfuge. Our erosion is not the result of poverty and want, but of leisure and excess. We are not suffering from existential crises of famine, plague,

Despite the pervasive angst among Democratic insiders about the hazards of nominating President Biden for a second term, he is all but certain to be at the top of his party’s ticket next November. The only elected incumbent ever denied the nomination of his party for reelection was President Franklin Pierce, and that occurred long before the modern primary system reduced party conventions to coronation ceremonies. It’s clear that the Biden campaign plans to win enough delegates during the primaries to secure the nomination well before he arrives at the Democratic National Convention. If they succeed, it will be difficult to deny him the nomination.

Let me make it clear from the beginning that I think Nikki Haley (R-Boeing) is a vapid establishment automaton who is basically the Kamala Harris of the Republican Party, a Bushesque mediocrity who represents a dying ideology that peaked in 2005, and good riddance to it. She’s the worst – self-righteous, annoying, always spewing grrrl-power nonsense and hack clichés salvaged from the back catalog of the Weekly Standard. She’s a disaster on every level, one of those people who is both very aggressive and always wrong, the worst possible combination. That being said, should he win the nomination, Nikki! should absolutely be Donald Trump’s vice presidential pick

Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferer Rob Reiner appeared on MSNBC this week to promote his new film about ‘Christian Nationalism’ and used the segment to explain that he understands real Christianity better than Christians. Potentially damning text messages detailing when Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis’ affair with Nathan Wade began won’t be considered by a judge when he rules on whether the top prosecutor should be thrown off the Trump election fraud case — in a blow to former president’s case. A Seattle high school issued a reading assignment featuring nine supposed traits of white supremacy. The assignment in question dives deep into progressive racial theory and is ostensibly intended to promote critical thinking about America’s societal structures. But a closer look reveals its actual aim: To further indoctrinate children into progressive ideology on race issues. Students in a Seattle English class were told that their love of reading and writing is a characteristic of “white supremacy,” in the latest Seattle Public Schools high school controversy.

A third year has passed since the death of Rush Limbaugh. The day of the sad news, millions of people were sensible of a loss. Limbaugh was an optimist, and optimists are like bonfires. The shivering gathered about him for warmth -- those fearing an awful and incomprehensible transformation in their country, those to whom the triumph of Marxism looked to be inevitable. His listeners had this consolation -- that at the appointed hour the ebullient voice would issue from the radio,

One of the tricks of knowing when a leftist judge is pulling a fast one is if the decision is really, really long. (snip) Indeed, generally speaking, in my thirty-five years as an attorney, I’ve never seen an appellate court uphold damages so disproportionate to actual injuries suffered—and again, there were no injuries in this case. The fact that there were no injuries in itself means that the case, from ig to zack, denied Trump due process. I don’t see the judgment surviving an appeal, that’s for sure. The gist of Evans’ plodding 4,100-word piece is that “a cult leader who drew crowds, inspired devoted followers and was executed on the order of a Roman governor”

Is there a Margaret Thatcher in the house who can help stiffen Joe Biden’s spine? The late British prime minister, in a 1990 phone call during the early days of the first Gulf war, famously told a hesitant President George H. W. Bush that it “was no time to go wobbly.” As Thatcher recounts in her first memoir, “The Downing Street Years,” Bush appeared reluctant to act decisively following Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Kuwait. Although the United Nations Security Council approved a trade embargo of Iraq, it was left largely to the US and UK to enforce it. Fortunately, Bush adopted the Iron Lady’s resolve and soon unleashed Operation Desert Storm, leading to
