Six bloodied bodies riddled with gunshot wounds were found in a remote community in the California desert, police said Wednesday. San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department deputies were called to the small desert community of El Mirage around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday night to perform a welfare check when they made the horrifying discovery. The six deceased individuals were part of a remote community just off the scenic Highway 395 between Lake Los Angeles and Adelanto, KABC reported. Officials initially indicated there were five victims, however, during their investigation a sixth body was found at the scene, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department

Comments:

Sounds like a cartel operation. Uncle Joe has rolled out the red carpet for them to set-up shop in the US.

Probably Mexican drug operation. They didn't do the job they were told to do, or they happened upon a drug deal and "needed to be gone". Anyone ever see "No Country for Old Men"? That's a pretty scary movie, and those kind of people are out there and moving more and more of their operations from Mexico to the USA. Those who live in rural areas are always at risk now, more than they used to be because of these drug gangs. In northern California, I have read that there are lots of marijuana being grown, but isn't that legalized now? Probably doesn't affect the cartels controlling it, and killing anyone who becomes inconvenient.

Police asked to do a "Welfare Check" in a remote desert spot? It was either someone wanting it to make headlines...or someone who's family member/friend no showed at work/home and their phone location pinged that spot. Were they on Luke AFB controlled area? It's the size of Connecticut, most is open desert used for flight training, 7 air/ground targeting practice areas and 2 air/air combat training spaces. Maybe they were MAGA people talking about "fighting the Govt" and Biden sent the F16's after them...

The targeting of another U.S.-owned commercial ship Wednesday shows the militant group remains intent on continuing its attacks in the face of multiple rounds of U.S. military airstrikes. The Houthis launched anti-ship ballistic missiles at the U.S.-owned, flagged and operated commercial ship Maersk Detroit as it was transiting the Gulf of Aden, according to a statement from the U.S. Central Command. The U.S. Navy destroyer USS Gravely shot down two missiles and a third fell into the water. There were no indications of damage or injuries in the attack. Looking ahead to the general election after former president Trump’s comfortable win in the New Hampshire GOP primary Tuesday night, CNN’s Van Jones advised President Biden to fly under the radar on the 2024 campaign trail, suggesting his lethargy is a political liability. “If I were Biden, I would stay hidden,” Jones said. “And I’ll tell you why: He doesn’t inspire confidence. He’s not a great messenger for himself.” The conversation was prompted by Obama David Axelrod, former senior adviser to President Obama, who earlier in the CNN segment said the 2024 race would be “trench warfare.” CNN host Anderson

ARRIAGA, Mexico - A new migrant caravan of approximately 2,000 people formed in southern Mexico on Monday, largely made up of people that have been on the move since Christmas Eve who say the Mexican government's promises of transit visas last week never materialized. The migrants, including some carrying young children, are walking to the southern Oaxaca town of Tapanatepec, about 800 kilometers (480 miles) south of Mexico City by road. They hope to reach Tapanatepec by nightfall. The group of mostly Central American and Caribbean migrants are ultimately headed for the U.S. border, the caravan's leader Luis Villagran said. Last

CBS 2's Sabrina Franza reported how only about 1% of the 26,000 migrants in the city have received their documents with assistance from the city and she dug into why the number is so low. The number really boils down to three things: the cost of the application, the availability of documents, and the significant demand. (Snip) The cost to fill out the application is over $400.
