The targeting of another U.S.-owned commercial ship Wednesday shows the militant group remains intent on continuing its attacks in the face of multiple rounds of U.S. military airstrikes. The Houthis launched anti-ship ballistic missiles at the U.S.-owned, flagged and operated commercial ship Maersk Detroit as it was transiting the Gulf of Aden, according to a statement from the U.S. Central Command. The U.S. Navy destroyer USS Gravely shot down two missiles and a third fell into the water. There were no indications of damage or injuries in the attack. The U.S. military has been conducting airstrikes against the Houthis to

If I were some kook job terrorist in a Middle East Hades hole and Diaper Joe was in the White Hut, I wouldn't/t be too concerned about the US either.

Isn't this why we spend quadrillions of dollars for a blue water navy?
Lloyd Austin and Medals Milley are awfully quiet...

Sink a few Iranian ships. THEY are running, funding and supplying this bunch.

The Houthis aren't impressed because our "attacks" are just for show.

Only one way to eliminate this: complete annihilation. Attacks stop.

In the 1980s the Iranians ran "the tanker war" in the Arabian/Persian Gulf. And the shot a lot of missiles into and at ships, and they mined the waters. It turns out that all modern tankers are 'double bottomed' design with a dead air space in the bottom of the hull, with the actual petroleum tanks well above the external hull. This turns out to be an excellent "mine proofing" design, too. Tankers hit mines, had minor damage, minor flooding and went to a port for inspection, minor repairs and continued their journey.
And a large cruise missile hitting the side of an oil tanker punches in...goes "bloomp" and causes a modest leak, and typically, little or no fire.
After a few American warships, notably the frigate Samuel B. Roberts, were struck by Iranian mines, Reagan had had enough. They found an Iranian ship with identical mines on board, captured it and identified the serial numbers on the mines as from the same sequence as recovered mines in the "anonymously" laid minefields.
Then we burned one Iranian destroyer to the waterline, and shredded about 80% of the upper structures of the other. Took over a "oil platform" which the Iranians had used as a spy and control location, and we leveled it.
Iran stopped fooling with us for a decade or two.
We need a repeat performance. The two Iranian ships were rebuilt, although most authorities said it was massively more expensive than buying new ships. I think they did it as a political stunt...wasting millions to say "they weren't destroyed"
Sink a few of their ships, level the factory that makes those cruise missile/drones.

Apparently, the air strikes aren't extensive enough. Maybe what's needed is several days of carpet bombing.

Re #8, bouncing rocks in a desert is pointless. Traitor Joe is pretending to do something while protecting the Iranians, his buddies, as ordered by The Zero and ValJarret

OP, they'd get the same result by just shipping a few electric cars!

#7 has the correct tactic, combined with #8's suggestion. Not in the desert, but where it will count.
But....... it'll take President Trump to do it.
The Thugs respond only to being afraid...... and they're afraid of Trump.
The HairSniffer is dancing to Zero and ValJar's puppet strings, as well as those of his Iranian handlers.
As long as he is in office, the Thugs and Terrorists have nothing to fear.
It's a repeat of 'Jimmah' and the hostages held by Iran.... who were released within hours of Ronaldus Maximus being inaugurated.

We need to send about 50,000 Democrats to fight the Houthis. The battle would be over in 15 minutes as the Democrats ran until the Houthis caught up with them...

I'm afraid one of their missiles will eventually get through. A fire on a cargo ship will be catastrophic.
