If you’ve ever wondered what colonization in real time looks like, look no further: In September, Minnesota launched an initiative to create a new state seal and flag to replace the longstanding designs after it was determined these dated elements were “offensive” to certain elevated classes. From an item published at AP News at the time: A state commission went to work Tuesday on designing a new state flag and seal for Minnesota to replace a current emblem in both that’s considered offensive to Native Americans. One of the main elements of Minnesota’s state flag includes a prominent state seal against a blue background. The seal depicts

They’re just little bathtubs for the feet of Muslims at MSP airport and Minnesota public schools. Nudge. They’re just head coverings for Muslim female Target employees. Nudge. Those calls to prayer can be broadcast all over Minneapolis 5X a day because this is a custom in Islamic countries. Nudge. What’s a flag but a piece of cloth? Nudge. These areas of Mpls are majority Muslim so sharia law may be enforced. Nudge. And someday the people of Minnesota will wake up to mandatory attendance at the mosque when those bells ring or they will face death. This is an old, old story, repeated thousands of times in thousands of places all over the world. Why do some people refuse to learn? Islam is a triumphal death cult and a scourge to societies everywhere it’s practiced. It does not have to be tolerated nor should it be.

To think that the people of Minnesota used to complain about Jesse Ventura. Now they have surrendered to the pirates of Somalia. If this flag is accepted they deserve to lose their state to Islam.

Everybody calm down. Minnesota is one of several states with an uninspired, unmemorable and indistinguishable flag. At least since the late 1950s people have been trying to change it. Everything in the easily accessible (thanks to the internet) record points to a thoughtful public process that results in some who love it, some who hate it and a vast silent majority who are too involved trying to make it from day to day to care.

I’d like to know the symbolism of that particular type of star. It’s generally referred to as the LeMoyne Star and is a traditional motif used in quilts. It was named for the two LeMoyne brothers who founded the city of New Orleans in 1718. What that has to do with Minnesota and Somalis is a mystery to me.

#13, that seems patronizing. Humans recognize patterns. The ability to do so is part of our defense mechanism. As a Minnesotan the trends disturb me and I matter, too. The “oh, relax” mentality has brought invaders into our country by the millions - many of them unassimilatable, young, hostile, restless and male. The same attitude is responsible for an influx of Muslims who our society appears to be completely unable to understand or resist. How bad does it have to get before you become alarmed? And exactly why is that point in time the standard for everyone? Canaries in coal mines are worth respect and consideration. And when TSHTF, and it will, will you step up to defend the country? Have you ever done so before?

President Biden ordered strikes on three locations in Iraq after three U.S. service members were wounded, one critically, in an attack early Christmas morning credited to a militia group backed by Iran. In a statement Monday, National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson said Biden directed the strikes against three facilities used by Kataib Hezbollah and affiliated groups, which claimed credit for the initial attack against U.S. personnel. The groups, the U.S. said, are all connected to Iran. The U.S. attack was carried out by a one-way attack drone, according to the statement, which said the three locations were “focused specifically on unmanned aerial drone activities.”

A federal appeals court should dismiss Donald Trump's federal felony indictment on election-subversion charges on the grounds that he has "immunity" from prosecution for acts committed while president, attorneys for Trump argued in a court filing Saturday night. The 71-page opening brief from Trump's legal team took direct aim at Special Counsel Jack Smith's criminal charges, calling them "unlawful and unconstitutional" because under the U.S. government system the judicial branch "cannot sit in judgment over a President's official acts." Trump's lawyers argue that the only way a current or former president can be charged for official acts is if he's both impeached by the House and convicted by the Senate.

US President Joe Biden urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to halt a pre-emptive strike against Hezbollah forces in Lebanon, just after Hamas launched its savage attack on Israel, the Wall Street Journal reported. The report claimed that Biden warned that a pre-emptive strike on Hezbollah "could spark a wider regional war." According to WSJ, Israel had intelligence that Hezbollah terrorists were preparing to cross the border as part of a multipronged attack, but the US deemed Israel's intelligence "unreliable." Warplanes in the air awaiting orders were called off their task, WSJ claimed, quoting "people familiar with the call," due to Biden's pressure.

Back in the dark days of the Soviet Union (USSR), it was not unusual for foreign visitors, especially journalists and diplomats, to go home and tell everybody how clean everything was, how happy and well-fed the people all appeared to be and how all of them expressed undying love and devotion to the Communist Party. They got those impressions because Soviet officials routinely took such visitors to "Potemkin Villages" — fake towns created specifically for the purpose of concealing from those visiting the USSR from outside of the Communist "paradise" the hellish reality of oppression, starvation and official brutality within it.
